We were able to relax well in the holiday apartment. The children were also very relaxed without their phones and tablets. Restaurant visits are almost only possible with a reservation during the summer months. The new cable car is very useful if you want to get around without a car.

Gut eingerichtete Ferienwohnung

We always feel comfortable in Carolinensiel. We rented this apartment for the first time and were really satisfied. There is enough space for playing children, a large kitchen with plenty of dishes and many electrical appliances, so we could even bake cakes ourselves. We don't want to blame the landlord for the changeable weather, but somehow, short rain showers are part of the North Sea experience.

Ferienwohnung Ebbe

At first glance, everything looks great. All kitchen utensils and appliances needed are available and in good condition except for the toaster. The couch has many large stains, so we only sat on it with our own blanket. The existing pillows and wool blankets were already used by the previous tenants. A socket I wanted to use in the living room burned out. The rocking chair in the conservatory was still broken there. Someone had already complained about this in July. The steps to the garden are partially loose, or when I stepped on them, they tilted away. I managed to catch myself. Wi-Fi almost never worked. I called the housekeeper. She later contacted me saying she had reset it as it kept hanging up. She would inform the owner. I said it still didn't work. She said she couldn't always come by, I should ring the doorbell of the other vacation guests, the router is there and I should restart it. After all, she wouldn't get paid extra for it. I didn't do it since I can manage without it. But the worst thing was the mold in the kitchen. In the left cabinet, it smelled very bad, and under the sink, you could see the mold. Right where the trash cans are located. There was also mold in the bathroom and in the living room. It was really bad, so I had to cut the vacation short by 3 days. I have to deal with some allergies. I informed the housekeeper and the owner of my departure. They asked me why I didn't say anything earlier. I asked, how would they eliminate the mold - with harsh chemicals? The owner told me it was just superficial and they had removed it with vinegar water. It was also the humid weather that had been prevailing there for weeks. Nonsense. He refunded me 90 euros. Too bad for the great house and location. Directly at the house. Still quiet.

Wohlfühlen

A beautiful holiday property, from which you can also reach many other places. During the week, it was always sunny and pleasantly warm. Nevertheless, it remained comfortably cool in the holiday property so that one can also sleep at night.
We would also like to praise the lady who was our contact person... very courteous and quick to help when there was something to be done. Thank you for that :-)
If we decide on Carolinensiel again next year, we would be happy to rent this holiday property again.

Autumn vacation with family

Unfortunately, we were not 100% satisfied. The terrace is unusable in the evening as it is too uneven and dark. The WiFi was too weak for free use with a mobile phone, but what bothered me the most is that for a towel package booked at 7 euros per person, you only get one bath towel, one hand towel, and one washcloth, which I find insufficient for the price and for 14 days. Especially considering we needed two washcloths on the FIRST MORNING to clean up as the living room was flooded. ...the caretaker had been called and told about it but we didn't get any new cloths :-(( Also, the fact that there's only one dish towel in the kitchen is way too little, and for the coffee machine pot, we had to buy a brush because it wasn't easy to clean. Other than that, the apartment was okay.

Für uns optimal

We spent a week-long vacation in the apartment Ebbe as a group of five. We found the great location, spacious layout, and fully equipped kitchen to be ideal. This allowed us to take turns in the kitchen or grill on the charcoal grill most of the time. Right next door is a well-stocked discount store with fresh bread rolls. Due to the tides, we didn't see the North Sea that often, but we were able to cool off repeatedly in the free outdoor pool. Our children were very excited about the petting zoo in Werdum, where we took a carriage ride. One week is actually way too short...

Dear Reiber family,
We would like to thank you once again for the wonderful time in the apartment Ebbe. We were warmly welcomed by the caretaker who explained everything necessary. The kitchen is really huge, we have never had so much space and good equipment in any holiday apartment before. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The conservatory was a valuable space to read in peace. Carolinensiel and Neuharlingersiel are beautiful holiday destinations. The wellness and beauty services at the swimming pool are recommendable. We are truly delighted.

Very clean apartment, top kitchen equipment. Everything else has been thought of as well (current books, board games, colored pencils, books and games for the children), good room layout.

North Sea vacation

Good house. Great location. Starting point for a beautiful North Sea vacation. However, a few points could be improved. For example, the terrace tiles have height differences, posing a risk of falling. The socket in the living room is not fixed. Despite these minor issues, a successful vacation in your house.

The price-performance ratio is right here, great apartment that is equipped with everything you need on vacation, from stove, refrigerator to hairdryer, everything is available.

The location of this apartment is top-notch, just a few steps from a Nettomarkt, where you can get everything for your daily needs and thus a large shopping trip for your stay becomes completely unnecessary. Also, a delicious breakfast with fresh bread rolls is always guaranteed in the morning thanks to the Nettomarkt! And the outdoor seating area invites you to linger. We will definitely try to spend our next vacation there again!

Unfortunately, there is a small flaw in the service, here we only give 2 1/2 stars out of 5 possible stars. The apartment seems to be cleaned by a local cleaning service, which does a good surface cleaning, but upon closer inspection, you will find some things that would not be present with a more thorough cleaning. Nevertheless, we find that the holiday apartment "Ebbe" is highly recommended!

Great location..

We spent a week in the holiday apartment Ebbe. A well-equipped apartment, good location, everything within walking distance. Netto supermarket right next door.

The New Year's Eve fireworks were fabulous!! The manager was very nice.

A perfect vacation for us and our Yorkshire Terrier. We really enjoyed Carolinensiel and the apartment. We will come back next year.

Not again!

We were looking forward to a relaxed weekend in Carolinensiel in the accommodation "Ebbe." We spent one night there and left early the next day. The musty smell, heavy dust and dirt throughout the apartment - especially in the bathroom - as well as animal hair on blankets and pillows were not acceptable. The TV did not work. We immediately reported deficiencies to the administration and landlord - Re-cleaning and TV downtime were offered to us or early departure. The next morning, we left prematurely; relaxation in the stuffy, dirty, and uncomfortable apartment was not possible. Refund of 2 nights; but trouble and additional costs= unpaid!
Conclusion: I should at least expect cleanliness and hygiene for the money. The good reviews here on the portal do not at all reflect the condition of the accommodation we found!

Great, fully equipped large apartment in a good location

The apartment was large with a big kitchen, a spacious bathroom, and a cozy living room. The kitchen equipment was above average (coffee machine, pod machine, kettle, microwave, full stove, etc.). The terrace, however, was rather small but adequate. The apartment was spotlessly clean and recently fully renovated with an appealing design. The rental process was also very friendly and cooperative from the landlord Reiber's side. The key handover was equally smooth and very friendly. The price/performance ratio was exceptionally good. The location was also great (Netto right next door, restaurants within walking distance). Overall, highly recommended and I would use it again anytime.

Very nice landlord with a beautiful property!

Great landlord!!
The apartment is large and well laid out.
We would have appreciated a washing machine and fly screens on the windows would have been very helpful.
(we had a mosquito plague this year).
But overall a very nice property.

Holiday apartment Ebbe - always a pleasure

Nice accommodation. Centrally located. Right next to a Nettomarkt.
Facilities top. With a dishwasher. Even a drying rack and a peeler were available. So well thought out in every detail.
The apartment is also very spacious. Living room and bedrooms offer ample space.
The garden is also beautiful.
(Downside: It could be a bit cleaner.)

Short vacation with 2 dogs.

Very clean and well-equipped ground floor apartment with a garden. Ideal for dogs as it has laminate flooring instead of carpet, allowing for easy walks in the village and along the Harle River to the North Sea beach. We will gladly come back.
