Description

The flat, which was built in 1995, has a living area of approx. 45 m² and is in the attic, on the first floor. It consists of a cosy living room with south-facing balcony overlooking the garden, fully equipped kitchenette with dining area, spacious shower room/WC, bedroom with double bed, an open sleeping bunk in the attic, ideally for 2 children, which can be reached via a staircase in the living room (no standing height).
Furthermore, there is a storage room and a parking space. A travel cot and a high chair are also available.
We look forward to your visit and wish you a wonderful, relaxing holiday in our holiday flat in Carolinensiel.

Holiday Apartment Carolinensiel "Fuchsbau
Welcome to Carolinensiel,
the non-smoking holiday flat is located in a complex of 6 flats, some of which are privately used. It is centrally located - approx. 300 m to the old harbour and approx. 2500 m to the beach. Grocery shops, pharmacy, doctors are within walking distance. A supermarket, which is also open on Sundays in the high season, is in the immediate vicinity.
The flat is centrally located in the Kutterweg / corner of Wittmunder Straße in Carolinensiel.
In a few minutes you can reach the centre of the village or the spa centre with the indoor swimming pool. You will need a little more time to get to the beach or Harlesiel harbour. The centre and heart of Carolinensiel, or "Caro" as the locals affectionately call it, is the old museum harbour with historic old sailing boats and flatboats and the Sielhafenmuseum, which is unique on the coast.
Tranquil small East Frisian towns such as Jever and Wittmund are easy to reach by car or bike. The East Frisian district town of Wittmund is 13 km away and offers opportunities for shopping or strolling with its pedestrian zone. The Frisian district town of Jever, with its historic old town, well-known castle and famous brewery, is a twenty-minute drive away.
The East Frisian coast offers unspoilt villages, idyllic landscapes, a seemingly endless network of cycle paths and, of course, the uniqueness of the Wadden Sea.
Just behind the dyke is the beach with its shallow mudflats, ideal for families with children. On the beach they can watch the seagulls, listen to the waves and relax. You can also take long walks along the dike to get some fresh air. You can also take a day trip to the islands or the seal banks with the ferries or the excursion boats. The ferries to Wangerooge are easy to reach.
Our apartment is in a quiet location, but you are still very close to the centre of events. It is only a few steps to the village centre with shops, boutiques, grocery shops and bakeries (also open on Sunday mornings during the season). The harbour pharmacy is just around the corner (always reassuring, even if you don't need it).
From the holiday flat to the old harbour, a walk along the banks of the Harle is still an insider tip, but highly recommended. From the old siel harbour onwards, you are officially on the most beautiful spa promenade in East Frisia. Romantically situated restaurants, cafés, tea rooms, miniature golf, pedal boat rental and sunny benches invite you to linger. And if you want to enjoy it all from the water - then take the little paddle steamer "Concordia" which takes you almost to the beach
Or do you want to go in the other direction? Not to the beach, but to the hinterland, for example to Altfunnixsiel, which was still by the sea about 300 years ago? Then a trip on the museum barge "Marie van't Siel" is recommended. You glide through an amphibious, silent landscape, under bridges, past old farms - as if time had stood still 100 years ago

Apartment to feel good

We felt very comfortable. There were three of us. Great equipment of the apartment, nothing was missing. Everything was done contactless and it worked wonderfully. The location is great. Supermarket directly opposite. Everything is within walking distance. Clear recommendation for this apartment.

Total schön

Wir haben einen Kurzurlaub dort verbracht und sind total begeistert. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Die Einrichtung ist total gemütlich und man fühlt sich sofort wohl.
Die Lage ist großartig - alles fussläufig zu erreichen.

Haben uns Pudelwohl gefühlt

Alles in allem ein vernüftiges Preis-Leistungsverhältnis wie man es selten findet. Am besten hat den Kindern die Schlafkoje gefallen, uns selber der Supermarkt der keine 100 Meter entfernt war ;-)

Vicinity of the holiday home: Sehr Zentral zur Einkaufsstraße, zum Hafen und vielen Restaurants die leider im Februar nicht alle geöffnet hatten

free time activities: Für Kinder gibt es einige Spielplätze in unmittelbarer Umgebung, bei einer Fahrtzeit von 10 - 60 min. sind diverse Spielparks etc. zu erreichen. Ansonsten kann man wunderbar Radfahren und im Sommer erwartet einen das Meer oder falls die Nodsee mal nicht da ist das beheizte Merrwasser Freibad.

shopping facilities: Bestens ! Der nächste Supermarkt ist wenige Schritte entfernt.
