Visit our very sunny "Häusle", surrounded by fruit trees, at the entrance of the Kaunertal valley with a homely living atmosphere. Ideal starting point for hiking and ski tours to the well-known skiing areas on the sunny plateau, as well as Kaunertal house is located in the hamlet of Prantach, house no. 31, municipality of Kaunerberg, at approx. 1300 m above sea level, is detached with balcony surrounded by meadows and some fruit trees. From the balcony you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding mountain world. The kitchen can be heated with wood and coal, but all rooms can also be heated with electric radiators. Above is the paneled living room made of Swiss stone pine, a Tyrolean-style farmhouse parlour with an old farmhouse cooker that must be heated exclusively with wood.
WC and shower are also in the basement.
Colour TV, radio, electric blankets are available.
On the upper floor are the bedrooms, three double rooms and one twin room, which is a passage room to one of the double rooms.
Two rooms are wood-panelled.

Cottage Romance
Those seeking cabin romance high in the mountains are in the right place. The house is equipped with everything you need. We felt very comfortable here. Since it was a bit cold in the first two days, we had the tiled stove on, which spread a cozy warmth in the snug living room in no time. The warmth also held in the rest of the area. The view is simply fantastic. The landlord welcomed us warmly, and we could easily reach him with any questions.

Great house in the mountains
The sun-drenched house is excellently located: on one side, the view falls on the peaks of the Kaunergrat, on the other side over the Inn Valley to the mountains beyond. Thanks to a comprehensive modernization, the building looks almost like new from the outside, but has preserved the charm of an old farmhouse inside. The living room and most of the four bedrooms are paneled with stone pine wood on the ceiling and walls, which gives off a pleasant smell. The historic floorboards creak a bit, and a tile stove promises additional coziness. For those who do not want to fire it up, electric radiators are also available in all rooms. The bathroom with shower has been modernized, as well as the well-equipped kitchen. There, alongside high-quality electrical appliances, everything needed for cooking or baking can be found. The small balcony is also cozy. If you need more space, for example, for grilling, you will find it below the house under old fruit trees in the meadow. Not least because of the very nice care of the hosts via email and telephone, we spent a perfect time in their beautiful house. We can fully recommend this accommodation for up to six people. However, those who want to live there with eight people should consider that one of the four bedrooms can only be reached through another.

Cozy holiday apartment with a view of the mountains from every window.
We spent six days in this cozy vacation apartment in Kaunerberg. My two children immediately fell in love with the four-poster bed. My grandmother and I stayed in two original, comfortable rooms completely paneled with Swiss pine wood. Additionally, there is a parlor with a tile stove and a large balcony with a view of the beautiful mountain landscape, just like from the rooms.
In addition to all the nostalgia, comfort is also provided. There is a new bathroom and a modern kitchen - all in super-clean condition. The kitchen contains everything your heart desires, a coffee machine, a toaster, a modern stove, and a dishwasher, as well as plenty of baking utensils (baking pans, scales, hand mixer, etc.) - much to the delight of my daughter.
The landlord was very friendly and explained everything to us in detail.
We can highly recommend this vacation apartment.

Absolute Katastrophe
We had booked the house from 12th to 22nd June, but left on the morning of 13th June at 6 am.
The house was completely dirty, we mopped everything again and the mopping water was always a brown soup.
The arrival time was scheduled for 4 pm, but the landlord was still clearing out his things, I helped him for about an hour.
There were many flies in the whole house and ants in the bathroom, as well as spiders.
As I said, we left around 11 am, as we couldn't stand the dirt anymore. Vacuumed, cleaned, and mopped for 2.5 hours, but then realized that we couldn't get rid of the penetrating smell in the house.
Additionally, the landlord proudly told us that he was not vaccinated against corona and, of course, did not wear a mask.
His statement was that if it catches you, it catches you.
After our departure, I tried to contact the landlord several times in order to somehow come to an agreement. My offer was to refund half of the rent, but no response. In the end, the garden belonging to the house was also leased out, hay was being made, and children were playing, so we couldn't let our dog loose after a 7-hour drive. All in all, a disgrace. This review is not out of frustration but describes the reality. We wanted to give the landlord a chance to respond, but we received no answer.
