The brand new mayor's flat is located on the first floor of the AltesRathaus.
Large, bright holiday flat for up to 6 people with lovely conservatory and central hall. Large living room with dining area, 3 large bedrooms, 2 with flatscreen, dining kitchen and workspace. Bathroom with bathtub and toilet.
Both bedrooms with double bed and flat screen Led-TV, as well as a small workplace. Of course, fast and free 100Mb WLAN throughout the house.

The typical Harz patrician house, built around 1870 and completely renovated in 2015, is centrally located in the centre of the village, above the Bohlweg.
You can reach restaurants and pubs without having to climb any metres.
In a sunny location on the slope of the Gallingsberg, slightly elevated, it is not directly on the main road, but on a small square. From there starts a pedestrian path to the Magdalenen Church and the entrance to many hiking trails. Very satisfied
We were thrilled by the cleanliness and the good equipment of the flat. The map with the hiking trails was also very helpful on the first day. Mrs Heise was very friendly and so were the owners, you felt well looked after! We would love to come back and have already recommended it to friends and family :-)

Very beautiful holiday apartment!
The apartment can be recommended without reservation. It is very spacious, well-equipped, and everything is very clean. The equipment with towels and bathrobes is great. We stayed there with two adults and two children. There were no space problems there. :-) The landlords are very nice, friendly, flexible, and committed.
We will gladly come back!!!

It just fits! Thank you for everything!
We rented the Magistrate's and Mayor's apartments together over the New Year and had wonderful, peaceful days celebrating the turn of the year. Hospitality is highly valued here, and starting from our arrival, we felt very well taken care of. The wonderful, uncomplicated, and unobtrusive care provided by the hosts, who live nearby and were always available, is worth mentioning. We were greeted with a welcome basket containing coffee, tea, wine, and other items that allowed us to relax immediately after arriving, without any stress.
The truly excellent and up-to-date tips for businesses and excursions were valuable. Also notable was the quick assistance when we locked ourselves out of the apartment on the first day and when we were looking for a pediatrician. The host's wife even accompanied the parents to the doctor in a neighboring village, which was certainly unique.
The apartments are completely new and equipped with everything needed. Additionally, we really enjoyed that both apartments are very spacious, providing enough room for all guests. In the Magistrat apartment, we had enough space to eat together and enjoy the evenings with all 6 adults and 4 children. In Wildemann itself, there is everything necessary for quick errands (baker and well-stocked grocery store a 5-minute walk away, several restaurants, and also a Glow-Golf hall = mini-golf under black light conditions, the 19-Lachter tunnel) and perfect access to hiking trails and cross-country ski tracks. We were just unlucky that winter arrived only after we left. Another tip: Directly opposite is the Hotel "Zum Rathaus", where there is truly very good cuisine and also the possibility to book massages for guests.
From Wildemann, excursions to the Brocken, Goslar, and the many Harz municipalities are no problem. And besides, there is pure nature here.
We can wholeheartedly recommend the property, always remembering the care and true hospitality we received. We wish the hosts wholeheartedly always satisfied guests and the best occupancy. Thank you once again for everything and wonderful greetings to Benno and Ragna in the Upper Harz.

Absolutely top housing!
We wanted to celebrate Christmas with our family in a beautiful holiday home in a hiking environment, and after some searching, we chose the AltesRathaus in Wildemann.
What a perfect choice we made! We will definitely be back next year!
From the first to the last day, we enjoyed the holiday homes, Wildemann, and the surroundings.
The homes (the holiday house consists of 2 homes) are fully equipped with everything. From a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room, and bathroom to spacious bedrooms with large-screen TVs, and, importantly, comfortable beds.
Hospitality is exceptional here, from the extremely welcoming owners to our departure, every question we had was answered promptly.
Folders full of useful information for various outings, nearby, further away, summer, winter, indoor and outdoor, for kids and adults. A welcome basket with coffee, tea, water, wine, snacks, etc...
The surroundings are all nature; you can walk directly into nature, or hop in the car and be in one of the other beautiful places in or around the Harz in no time.
Medieval Goslar, the steam train to the Brocken summit, or a trip to one of the museums or (children's) swimming pools, all within a short distance.
Of the many holiday homes we have rented so far, this is definitely the best. Therefore, we highly recommend the AltesRathaus and the Harz to everyone.

Absolutely recommendable!
Absolutely recommended! Top equipment of the apartment (great beds, kitchen, TV etc.)! Very good location in the Harz mountains for all interests like hiking, excursions, swimming, winter sports etc. The landlord is very, very nice and exceptionally helpful! We will gladly come back!!!!

It was love at first sight: The pretty, historic mountain town of Wildemann with its impressive nature in the middle of the Harz Mountains inspired us to acquire the Old Town Hall in order to realise fantastic and wonderful holiday flats.
