Description
Arrive and immediately feel at home - no problem at all here, in the spacious holiday home with large garden, which we furnish with much love and care. The house is ideal for a family holiday with children - a total of 6 people can be comfortably accommodated here: 3 separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, an excellently equipped kitchen and a large living/dining area round off the comfort in the house. You can also retreat to the open gallery (there could be room for two more people on a sofa bed).
In addition, the house offers a very good and stable internet connection thanks to fibre optic connections, so that travelling and working can be combined well. And why not extend your holiday by one or more weeks and outsource your home office?

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is part of the Dümmer See holiday village and is only 80 m from the bathing beach with large sunbathing lawn. For children, there is an adventure nature trail 500 m away. There is a large playground for little explorers in the village!
The region around Lake Dümmer is not only a wonderful recreational area but is also strategically located for excursions to Hamburg, Schwerin, Wismar or Ludwigslust. The Baltic Sea is about 1 hour's drive away
For a bicycle tour on the well-developed cycle paths of the region, you can rent bicycles on site. In the village you will find a large children's playground and a bakery that is open on Sundays. Furthermore, many farm shops in the area not only offer regional products, but also invite you to coffee and cake in their own farm cafés.
The region also has many cultural attractions to offer: Ancient fieldstone churches, impressive Bronze Age burial mounds, enchanted tower mounds and Neolithic megalithic tombs make many a historian's and archaeologist's heart beat faster.
The "Archäologische Gesellschaft für Mecklenburg und Vorpommern e. V." (Archaeological Society for Mecklenburg and Western Pomerania) provides detailed information and a free flyer for an excursion around Lake Dümmer (total distance of 36 km, which is ideal for a cycle tour).
In Zachun (20km) you can also take advantage of a water ski facility.
The beautiful state capital Schwerin - the 'City of Seven Lakes', offers you a wide range of entertainment and culture. To get to know the city, we recommend a city tour with the 'Petermännchenexpress' and a trip with the 'White Fleet' on Lake Schwerin.
The historic old town with its castle, theatre and museums is also worth seeing.
Fancy a spot of shopping? No problem, Schwerin's city centre offers you a wide range of shopping opportunities. Have fun exploring.
The Baltic Sea coast of Mecklenburg and the Hanseatic cities of Wismar, Lübeck and Hamburg can be reached in about 1 hour.

Cancellation terms:
Cancellation by the tenant a) The tenant can withdraw from the lease before the start of the rental period by providing written notice to the landlord. The pertinent factor is the time at which the notice of termination is received by the landlord. b) If the tenant withdraws from the lease, they must compensate the landlord for the expenses already incurred and the lost profit in accordance with the following amounts: - Up to 45 days before the start of the rental period: 20% of the rental price (but at least €50.00) - Up to 35 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price - Thereafter, in the event of a no-show or early termination of the stay, the entire rental price is due c) The tenant retains the right to prove that the landlord incurred no damage or significantly less damage. d) Upon withdrawal from the agreement, the tenant may nominate a replacement tenant who is ready to step into the existing contractual relationship in their place. The landlord may object to the entry of the third party if they appear economically or personally unreliable. If a third party enters into the rental agreement, they and the previous tenant are jointly and severally liable to the landlord for the rental price and any additional costs incurred by the entry of the third party. e) The tenant is recommended to purchase travel cancellation insurance.

Perfect for families with small children.
Beautiful, very well-equipped holiday home in a quiet location. The small beach at the bathing lake with a jetty is also very suitable for little ones. While hiking and cycling, one can explore the surroundings and nature.

Beautiful, tasteful house.
We had 10 very nice days in this house. The furnishings are very tasteful and the equipment is almost perfect. The kitchen is very well stocked, the children's toys and books are nicely selected and perfect for our children. The climbing frame was gratefully accepted as there is no playground in the park otherwise.
One criticism of the equipment is that there is no way to darken the rooms. The bedrooms face south and were very warm and still daylight at bedtime for our children.
The location in the holiday park is very nice, just a minute from the lake. Nice small sandy beach at the lake, not crowded. The park itself takes some getting used to, but is very quiet.
There are few excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity. Schwerin is of course beautiful and can be reached in 30 minutes, but it takes at least an hour to get to Wismar or to the East Sea beaches.
Anyone looking for peace and relaxation is in the right place there. Those who are more adventurous have to travel.
In our opinion, the rental price is rather high for the location of the house.

Fit perfectly for us.

Very quiet and right by the lake.
The house itself is a bit noisy. However, not a problem for families.

Relaxation holiday
A week's vacation with two couples in the beautiful and quiet holiday village. The surroundings are perfect for walks, the lake is ideal for swimming or boating. By car, you can quickly reach Schwerin or the Baltic Sea.
The house offers all the necessary amenities without any shortcomings. Everything you need is available, and the abundance of wood and exposed beams create a very cozy atmosphere. Due to the wooden construction, it can be relatively noisy, but it's something you can live with.

Familienurlaub
We spent a wonderful long weekend vacation in this great house. I can only say that we were very satisfied with everything. The house is super clean and comfortably furnished. It was just perfect, and we lacked nothing. We felt really comfortable and would love to come back. The owners are very kind and helpful. Looking forward to next time!
