The holiday home includes a 40sqm solar-heated outdoor pool (season May to October) for your exclusive use.
Between the holiday home and the pool is a large lawn with loungers, ideal for sunbathing.
The property is large, enough space for leisure activities. In the evening, the terrace invites you to a cosy barbecue afternoon or evening outdoors.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located in the middle of a quiet single-family home settlement. You will only be woken up by the chirping of birds. The beautifully landscaped Lenné Park invites you to take a morning walk about 500 metres from the house.
The holiday home is ideal for getting to know the German capital. It is easy and quick to reach by car, but also by regional train from the station in Blumberg, which is about two kilometres away.
Our tip: From Ahrensfelde station, which is about 10 minutes away, the S-Bahn S7 runs every 10 minutes to the centre of Berlin.
In about 30 minutes you can reach all the important sights of the federal capital.
The village
The holiday home is located in the district of Blumberg in the municipality of Ahrensfelde, north-east of the Berlin city border. The motorway exit Berlin-Hohenschönhausen of the motorway 10 (Berliner Ring) is located in the village.
The centre of Blumberg was lovingly renovated in the 1990s. There is a flower shop, a hotel with restaurant, schools and a kindergarten. In the neighbouring village, about 3 km away, there is a bathing lake. In the commercial area of the village there is a supermarket, DIY store, another hotel, petrol stations and a fast food restaurant. If you arrive on Sunday, the nearest open supermarket is at Berlin-Lichtenberg station, about 18km away.

In the north-east of Berlin, the regional park Barnimer Feldmark adjoins the outskirts of the city
Villages, estates and manor houses, lovingly restored churches and fieldstone buildings, small lakes, wide fields with field oleanders and old avenues are essential details that characterise the special charm of this landscape.

Highly recommended
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and shown around the house. Everything is tastefully decorated, tidy, and clean. The garden is also well-maintained. The landlady and her sister are very friendly and accommodating. The house is located in a quiet area. Thanks to its good connections, one can explore the surrounding area, whether by train to Berlin or by car. The pool was a big hit with our children. Since this one is heated, it can also be used in cloudy weather.
All in all, a very nice vacation where nothing was missing.

Warning scam!!!
Landlord is unfriendly, controlling, and money-hungry.
Deposit is not returned, electricity prices are completely overpriced.
Visitors are allegedly only allowed for 2 hours, otherwise you have to pay extra per person, even though you pay rent for the house and not per person.
My sister and her family came to visit me, and at 10:00 pm, the landlord knocked and told me that my guests had to leave now, or I should book them as guests.
Since then, I have not felt comfortable there. The landlady lives right next door, stands behind the fence, eavesdrops on conversations, and controls everything. Upon departure, the landlady wanted extra money from me because she charged my sister and her family €60. I told her that I would hand this over to my lawyer. She referred me to the terms and conditions. There is nothing stated there. I wanted something in writing, she refused to write anything, and told me to wait for an email. So I took the receipt with me to have something in my hand. She wanted to take the receipt from me. I ran to my car to keep the receipt safe. She ripped open my car door and became physical.

Recommended holiday home
The house is very quietly situated in a small, manageable residential area. My wife and I were guests with our two daughters and my mother-in-law for a long weekend. The holiday home is very well maintained and met our expectations completely. We enjoyed our stay very much and can highly recommend it. We would gladly come back at any time.

Beautiful location - unfriendly reception
The house is modern, well furnished and clean. There is enough space for 8 people and everything for a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, the landlady is not obliging and does not admit her ignorant mistakes ... There were several discussions about the bed linen, on the booking page it was stated that this was included (see Google review), on arrival we were told that this was an exclusive service - 10€ per person/bed. After commenting and personally pointing out the info from the booking page, we were told that it was probably a mistake but we had to pay. Later they immediately changed this on the booking page (see also Google review). So we slept without bed linen by covering the beds with towels we had brought with us. On arrival it is best to read and photograph the meters directly, otherwise a flat rate (set by the landlady) will be deducted from the deposit. The heating was also not switched on on our request, the September weekend was very cool, we had to help ourselves with bathrobes at night. The privacy of the guests is also not appreciated, the landlady walked through the garden several times, apparently for control purposes- this is actually not appropriate, you could announce yourself.... We were also told that young people are not welcome (we were 25). On the whole, the stay in the house was nice, but the interpersonal relations were non-existent. With sentences like - don't book this house if you can't afford it, we were said goodbye (that's really cheeky, because we actually wanted to leave a tip). Politeness and a goodbye were apparently too much to ask for.

Alle im Übernachtungspreis enthaltenen Leistungen sind im Haus-Profil auf Ferienhausmiete.de im Abschnitt Preise/Inklusivleistungen angegeben. Die Preise für optionale Zusatzleistungen und verbrauchsabhängige Nebenkosten sind dort aufgeführt.
Für Bettwäsche betragen die Kosten 10€ pro Person inklusive einem Handtuch. Seit Vermietungsbeginn im Jahre 2015 gab es hierzu keine Änderung.
Bei Ihrer Ankunft sagten Sie, dass Sie sich noch eigene Bettwäsche kaufen und auf die Bereitstellung von uns verzichten würden.
Leider mussten wir bei Ihrer Abreise feststellen, dass die Betten ohne Bettwäsche genutzt wurden.
Aus diesem Grund musste die vollständige Bettwäsche (Matratzenschoner, Bettdecken, Kissen) gewaschen werden, um für die nächsten Gäste eine hygienische Übernachtung zu ermöglichen.
In Bezug auf die Heizung haben wir von Ihnen keinen Hinweis erhalten, somit konnten wir auch nicht wissen, dass hier Anpassungsbedarf besteht.
Zur Pflege des Gartens setzen wir Mähroboter ein. Hierzu ist es unregelmäßig nötig die Geräte wieder in ihre Ladestationen zu stellen, wenn sie den Weg nicht selbständig finden. Aus diesem Grund kann es vorkommen, dass wir uns kurz im Garten aufhalten.

Fantastic holiday home with great pool
A fantastic holiday home with beautiful, well-maintained grounds/garden and large pool. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our time very much. Thanks to the solar heated pool, we were able to use it despite the bad weather. We can only recommend this house. Very good for exam days
We spent team retreat days in this house. With the spacious house, we had a lot of room to hold our meetings in changing locations. The pool and the beautiful park provided relaxation during breaks. The fireplace additionally created a pleasant atmosphere. So the house is not only very suitable for vacations.
