Beautifully situated house with a great view and large garden directly on the Weser, 100m from the Weser cycle path and planet path.
The house is designed in a personal, individual and alternative way, so it is not a typical holiday home, but very suitable for family weekends, yoga, meditation etc.. As it has unfortunately already happened that guests have mistaken our holiday home for a 5-star hotel, we would like to expressly point out at this point that this is not an Ikea furnishing house, but an individually designed holiday home that offers everything you need for a few great days, as long as you do not expect luxury.
The house is quietly located in a district of Rinteln near the nature reserve. The 1,500sqm property with its large wooden terrace borders directly on the Weser (fence is available). It is particularly suitable for large families, small seminars and workshops, optimal for 8-14 people, but more or less people are also possible.
- 7 bedrooms: 5 double rooms (2 with 200x160, 2 with 200x180, 1 with 200x140), 2 multi-bed rooms (double bed 200x140cm, 1 single bed, 1 sofa bed 180x200), 1 triple room (double bed 200x200, 1 single bed 100x200), furthermore there are 2 folding beds
- a seminar-workshop room.
- fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 2 refrigerators, freezer, coffee machine, espresso machine, steamer, blender....
- Washing machine and dryer
- Living-dining room (48sqm) with cosy wood-burning stove
- 1 workshop-seminar room (48sqm)
- 3 bathrooms with 3 showers and a bathtub
- additional room with sauna (extra charge)
- SAT-system, receiver and TV, (old TV set!)
- 2 stereo hi-fi systems with tuner, CD player, MD player, MC player, Canton and Bose speakers, mixer, VHS recorder.
- ATTENTION: BED LINEN AND TOWELS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENT. Bed linen - macro satin, 100% cotton - and towel set can be rented for 15,- /person.
- Detailed information folder with city map, regional hiking maps, canoe rental, sights, etc.
- Garden (1.500sqm) with fantastic view and large terrace
- Bathing lakes nearby
- Directly opposite our garden on the other side of the Weser is the Nabu nature reserve. Not only migratory birds rest here, but many birds live here all year round. (e.g. red and black kites, grey geese, swans, ducks, herons and ospreys)
- The nearest canoe rental is 4 km away.
- No parties, stag parties or the like.
Attention:
Due to the energy crisis we have decided from January 2023 onwards
1. to switch off the sauna with its 9kw stove,
2. to increase the linen package - bed linen+towels - to 25,-€/person, as everything has to be put into the tumble dryer (so it's best to bring your own).
Corona
Should a lockdown or accommodation ban be imposed again, we will refund the rent paid.
Endowment fund COMMON-SOLIDARIAN
If you book our house, you can transfer half of the rent as a donation to the foundation fund GEMEINSAM-SOLIDARISCH at the GLS Treuhanddachstiftung (donations are tax deductible). - 7 km to Rinteln centre, approx. 15 km to Hameln, 4 km to the ferry.
- Next canoe rental in 4km distance.

Rinteln is a beautiful medieval town on the Weser with many half-timbered houses, pedestrian zone, lovely market square and various restaurants and shops
Our house is located in a district 7km from the centre and 5km from the A2 motorway. Hanover and Bielefeld are both just under 60 km away.

Idyllic holiday with friends
We had a wonderful time with friends in the house on the Weser river! The highlight was definitely the large garden right by the river, which offered enough space for relaxation as well as activities. We were traveling with a toddler and a dog and had everything we needed. We would love to come back next year.

Great for family gatherings.
We spent our family reunion at Weseridyll. The vacation apartment is simple but fully equipped, just right for us. There are plenty of rooms where children and/or adults could retreat, and at the same time, the living and dining room provides enough space for eating, playing, and being together. The garden is very beautiful with a large meadow and a great view of the Weser. Only a car is necessary to be able to shop in the area and to be mobile for all the activities in the surroundings. For us, it was the perfect place - we will gladly come back!

We will gladly come again ....
We spent a weekend in this house with our family (20-88 years old) and 2 Dachshunds. In beautiful weather, we were able to enjoy the large garden with access to the Weser river. There was also enough space in the house for the 12 of us. We would love to come back next year... :-)

Great house for a large group of people
We held our annual family reunion in the house and everyone, adults and children, even the dog, loved it. The house offers plenty of space, the garden is huge and everything

Nice big house with many nice beds
The house was perfect for our family reunion.
All rooms with great double beds, so no couple was short of space.
The layout with semi-basements and the living/dining area are very nice.
We actually wanted to dance in the large attic room in the evening,
but unfortunately we were too lazy.
Rinteln is 7 km away, which is great by bike. We discovered a country bakery 5km in the other direction, delicious bread rolls.
The on-site support was also very nice.

Great house for large groups.
The house is really great overall and super suitable for larger groups. There is a beautiful room where you can make music, meditate, act, etc
Because of the many rooms, everyone can also withdraw
A big highlight is the great garden and the location directly on the Weser, where you can take a very nice walk

Have a nice weekend
It is a very nice house with a lot of flair with an even nicer garden and view. We were there for a weekend for a sibling reunion and the time was too short to really explore the beautiful scenic surroundings and also Rinteln. We will be happy to come back.

Clean and super equipped holiday home
Perfect holiday home in a great environment that leaves nothing to be desired. Particularly noteworthy is the good equipment, which also meets the needs of a larger group of holidaymakers. We arrived with 8 adults and two dogs and were very enthusiastic about the spacious garden and the great surroundings. Individual generous accommodation
Peace and idyllic surroundings characterize the accommodation and its surroundings. Spacious house with plenty of space. Partly simple but practical. Great large property with Weser view and access, large terrace. Cutlery and furniture are all available on site. The surrounding area offers swimming opportunities.

Traumhaus - Traumlage
Auch im Winter bietet dieses Haus mit dem Kaminofen und der Sauna eine absolute Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Der Blick aus dem großen Garten auf die Weser und über die Weser hinweg in ein großes Naturschutzgebiet lohnt sich auch bei kaltem Wetter und wenn die Rufe der zahllosen Wasservögel weit über die einsame Flußlandschaft ertönen, dann verweilt man selbst bei Kälte länger als beabsichtigt im Garten, träumt vom Frühling und Sommer und weiß, dass man zu jeder Jahreszeit hierhin zurückkehren möchte.

Großes Haus mit individuellem Flair und tollem Garten
Wie sind im Internet auf das Haus aufmerksam geworden, da es bei Buchungsportalen weit über 100 tolle Bewertungen erhalten hat. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Zwar konnten wir leider Corona bedingt nur mit 5 Personen anreisen und so war das Haus fast zu groß für uns, dennoch hat es uns super gefallen.Der Empfang war herzlich, genauso wie die Kommunikation zuvor. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, Wohn- und Esszimmer mit dem Kamin äußerst gemütlich und der Workshop-Meditationsraum klasse. Schöne Gegend und absolut ruhig. Nach der Sauna konnten wir uns im großen Garten abkühlen. Ein kleines Manko ist der Minifernseher und das fehlende W-Lan. Aber ansonsten 100% empfehlenswert für alle, die eine nicht alltägliche Unterkunft (siehe Beschreibung) suchen.
