Description
Villa Taubenberg, a turn-of-the-century-style guesthouse, was newly built in 2017. The rooms present themselves in a stylish simplicity with selected materials and antique individual pieces. Massive oak beams support the ceiling and convey a sense of security, large wooden mullioned windows direct the view into the greenery and into the distance, where opposite on the Nesselberg, the Schaumburg Castle is perched. Original leaded windows were precisely reworked by a specialist and now adorn the entrance to the house. Exclusive wall colours in pastel shades and high-quality linen fabrics symbolise a sense of well-being. Floors made of rustic natural stones and wide wooden floorboards underline the style of the house in its naturalness. A small wood-burning stove in the middle underlines the charm and rural character.

Villa Taubenberg allows a direct connection to the garden and nature. It is the perfect starting point for hikes and excursions into an ancient cultural landscape. Or you may not want to leave, explore the garden with its numerous flowers, enjoy the buzzing of the bees, the chirping of the birds, the calming grazing of the horses or the fantastic view from the highest settlement in the Weserbergland with a view of the Schaumburg, the meandering river and the floodplain landscape. It is not unusual to see the kite, the buzzard, and with a bit of luck perhaps even the white-tailed eagle, circling over your heads.

Dreamy.
A place to dream. When the garden gate opens upon arrival, one does not yet suspect the treasure hidden behind it. The holiday home has been designed and furnished with great love. Everything you need is there. Then the view from all the bright windows of the house with ever new facets of the dreamlike garden, almost like a small landscape park. We have never seen anything so beautiful. The wonderful terrace, where you just have to close your eyes on the sun lounger to listen to the insects, bees, bumblebees, and birds...there is no greater relaxation. And the infinite peace at night, being able to sleep with the window open and finally having a holiday home with mattresses like at home. The friendly and open nature of the owners is also very pleasant. It was a great pleasure to be here and we will come back. It can't get any better :-)

If you are looking for a wonderful holiday in an enchanting ambience, Villa Taubenberg is the right place for you: the house, which was built only three years ago, offers high-quality and tasteful furnishings, which, like the beautiful and extensive garden, bear witness to the loving and expert hand of the owners. The panorama from the house and garden down into the Weserbergland is unique. The owners, the Diermeier family, want their guests to feel completely at home in their little paradise. And they do, and even on the last day of your holiday you find yourself thinking about your next booking.
