The house was newly built in 2011. Unlike many other holiday homes, where the concept is usually to accommodate as many people as possible in as little space as possible, we wanted to take a completely different approach with our house Meeresblick. We want you to feel at home with us. This starts with as much space as possible and ends with a fully equipped family home, just as you know it from home. The house has 1 master bedroom with a double bed and two further bedrooms with two single beds each. So there is enough space for 6 adults to sleep and spend their holidays. Furthermore, there is a bathroom with shower and tub, a guest toilet with shower, a large and open kitchen and dining area, as well as a spacious living room. All in all, the house impresses with a generous 150 m² of living space, so that 6 people can stay well without constantly sitting on top of each other. And if you do want to, the two terraces and the 800 m² plot invite you to relax and unwind together.

Location and surroundings of object
The unique thing about our house Meeresblick is its location. In the first line of the beach with an unobstructed view of the Baltic Sea, this house is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Rügen. At the end of a residential street, you can enjoy the pure nature, the wonderful peace and quiet, far away from the usual hustle and bustle of the tourist strongholds. Just listen to the sea and the waves or to the seagulls flying by. It is not uncommon for deer and rabbits to visit you early in the morning and watch you having breakfast in the garden. Directly in front of the door you have a beautiful natural stone beach, known by all surfers and surfers and also a stronghold for anglers. Bathing and splashing around is not neglected here either.
And if you need a little more action: in only 10 km you are at the Schaabe, one of the most beautiful and whitest sandy beaches in Germany and thus the tourist magnet par excellence. You are also only 35 km away from Binz, where you can stroll and shop along the famous promenade
Finally, we must point out the sensational location of the house: at the back you look directly onto the Baltic Sea, from the windows on the left side of the house (kitchen, dining area, master bedroom, second bedroom) you also look directly onto the lighthouse of the famous island of Hiddensee, from the windows on the right side (third bedroom, living room) you can see the lighthouse of Cape Arkona. The most famous excursion destinations and sights of the Baltic Sea, you have a view all around from your windows. This location is indeed unique
Dranske is a former fishing village in the very north of the beautiful island of Rügen, which has become a real insider tip in recent years. Many celebrities known from radio and television are increasingly drawn to the island of Rügen and increasingly also to Dranske. Some of the best-known German actors and directors have even bought their own holiday cottage in Dranske and can be found there regularly. Numerous sports activities such as fishing, boating, kiting, surfing or water skiing are possible at various water sports schools around Dranske. In addition, the island of Hiddensee is a tempting place for an excursion.

Cancellation terms:
If a cancellation is made at least 4 weeks prior to the arrival date, a cancellation fee of 25% of the booking amount will be charged. For cancellations made less than 4 weeks before the arrival date, the full booking amount is due.

Great house in a very beautiful location
From the moment we entered the holiday home, we were thrilled; it felt like coming home. The house is very cozily furnished, wonderfully spacious, so that you feel comfortable right away.
The location of the house was also perfect for us.
No traffic noise in the morning and also not in the evening, as only the direct residents enter this area.
The perfect place to relax and unwind.
Thank you very much, we would love to come back.

The holiday home itself was very nice and corresponded to the description. Unfortunately, the beach chair, as shown in the picture, is not available.
The holiday home is unfortunately showing its age and could use a fresh coat of paint on the inside. Small repairs to the furniture and lighting would also be necessary.
The remote controls in the living room need to be replaced as they are defective or no longer working properly.
Regarding cleanliness:
If the house is already being cleaned by a cleaning company, they should also clean thoroughly in all corners and under the furniture (removing spider webs, clearing hair from the drains left by the previous owner) and also remove cobwebs from the outside.
It's nice that the mattresses have protectors, but they should also be cleaned and the mattresses should be vacuumed.
Unfortunately, there is no possibility to store the garden furniture. As a result, everything is cramped in the storage room. Seat cushions are dirty and occupied.

Experience with the holiday home
Lack of cleanliness...key delivery not on site as advertised in the letter.

It was a pity that the garden furniture was outside and could not be used after the rain because it could not be put underneath

On the picture more beautiful than in reality, lack of cleanliness...
We (2 families) rented the holiday home "Meeresblick" in Lancken for 2 weeks. Arrival was on a Saturday. According to the information sheet, we were supposed to call when crossing the Rügen Bridge to see if we could possibly enter the house before 3 pm. However, everything turned out differently. On the phone, we were told to pick up our keys in Sagard at the cleaning company. Upon arrival, we were very unfriendly told that we could only enter at 4 pm. Even the second key was not there, as agreed with the landlords. Very poor organization, I must say. (After 3 days, the caretaker then got us a second one.)
The holiday home is very quiet, and the view of the sea is great. The house is not as beautiful from the outside as in the picture. (Some swallow nests caused this.) Very dirty windows and doors, trash cans very dirty because of the birds. No beach chair as shown. The interior area is in good condition. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The rooms are also very nicely furnished.
Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning as described.
So, for the price, everything could have been a bit better. What a pity! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
