Short description:
The holiday home "Seesterne" is located near the sea/sandy beach and the *nature reserve. The holiday home is situated in a quiet location on the south side, in a child-friendly area, close to a playground.
The holiday home is fully furnished. From the entrance, you enter the cloakroom with access to the bathroom with shower/toilet and the separate kitchen, as well as the cozy living room. From the kitchen, a staircase leads to the attic. In the vacation home, we have an anteroom with a single bed and a bedroom with 2 single beds in the attic. The two rooms are separated by a connecting door. A (baby) travel cot can also be provided free of charge. We rent only to 1-3 adults or 2 adults with 1 older child and/or 1 baby. There are 2 terraces; inside there is a small garden with a picnic table, with benches and blankets for it, where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning when the weather is nice.
This rear terrace is screened off, with access from both the kitchen and through a side entrance.
There is a possibility to grill on the property.
In front of the house there is another bench, on the sunny side, where you can relax with a view of the adjoining lawn. Parking is available. You can park your car near the house.
Parking in Egmond aan Zee is operated via a license plate registration system.
We will cover the parking costs for you in zones C+D in Egmond aan Zee, usually €2.30 per hour, daily from March to the end of October and from November to March, paid parking on Saturdays and Sundays only.
You can also rent bicycles from a rental shop located *300 meters away.
From the holiday home, it is approximately a 250 meter walk to the beach. 5 minutes to the sandy beach and the town center with shops and coffee terraces.
The entrance to the North Holland Dune Reserve is almost at the doorstep. Here, there are optimal cycling and hiking opportunities!
Detailed description:
The living room is furnished with a 3-seater sofa and armchair, dining table with chairs and a sideboard, and a cabinet where you can find games and information about Egmond aan Zee and the surrounding area. In addition to a flat-screen TV with cable connection and DVD, you can also use free WIFI / WLAN, with very good range!
A toddler chair can be used free of charge if needed.
A separate kitchen is fully equipped. Cooking is electric (without an oven).
For those who are comfortable or for quick reheating, there is a microwave. To start the day well, there is a coffee pad machine or a coffee machine available. Of course, there is a refrigerator with freezer compartment, pans, pots, toaster, cutlery, and dishes. A gas boiler provides hot water and the holiday home has central heating.
In the holiday home, in the attic, there is an anteroom with a single bed and a bedroom with 2 single beds. The two rooms are separated by a connecting door.
A (baby) travel cot is also possibly available for free. The front room has 1 single bed, 80 x 200 cm, with a washbasin, and the other room has 2 single beds, 90 x 200 cm.
On the 2 single beds, there is a 2-person topper on top.

All beds have duvets, without bed linen, and pillows.
Bed linen and towels can be brought by you or obtained from us for a fee.
A (baby) travel cot can be set up in one bedroom. We only rent to 1/3 adults or 2 adults with 1 older child and/or 1 baby.

Location and surroundings of object
The municipality of Bergen consists of 6 villages: Egmond aan Zee, Egmond aan de Hoef, Egmond Binnen, Bergen, Schoorl and Groet. Egmond aan Zee is the most famous place of Egmonds originated about 1000 years ago as a fishing town, as in the townscape still clearly visible. Since the beginning of the last century developed as a seaside resort, the resort is very popular with tourists because of the tranquility and fresh sea air.
The town itself attracts visitors with its old center and the typical Dutch fishing houses many visitors from the surrounding area. Great little holiday cottage for vacation in Egmond
A sweet little holiday home, typically Dutch and practically furnished with love. The kitchen has everything you need for the vacation.
The stairs are a bit adventurous, not suitable for older people and small children.
Everything is very clean and well-maintained, the owners take good care of the little house. We were super satisfied and everything worked perfectly. We would love to come back! ☺️

Beautiful summer cottage
We spent two beautiful weeks in the small holiday cottage as a group of three (2 adults, 1 teenager).
Everything was as described and well-equipped, very clean, the landlords are very nice, helpful, and live directly in the main house.
The location is great, you can quickly walk to the dune area, the beach, and the town center. One could have made even more excursions from there, but the place already offered a lot: beautiful beaches, fresh air, markets, concerts, hiking trails, exhibitions, restaurants, shops... (just no public restrooms)
There are also quite good bus connections to the larger cities.

sweet little house to feel good
We spent 14 days of wonderful vacation in the holiday house "Seesterne" and were absolutely thrilled :-)
A great, clean and beautifully furnished house with everything you need.
The location is central but still quiet (and Egmond itself is always worth a trip!)
The landlords are very nice and helpful.
We can and would like to highly recommend this accommodation with 5 stars or more.

Chic little house, ideal for 2-3 people
Lovingly furnished accommodation with lots of charm and feel-good factor.
Everything is very small and finely tuned, yet it leaves nothing to be desired.
The living area invites you to cozy gatherings and offers enough space for eating, reading, and chilling.
Information materials about the surroundings and activities on-site are plentiful. TV and WLAN are flawless.
The small kitchen is well-equipped and has everything you need for self-catering. In the upper part is the bedroom, small but still fine. We slept very well here and were woken up every morning by cheerful birdsong.
The bathroom, including a shower and toilet, is minimalist but clean, and that's all that matters.
There is a bench for 2 people with a table in front of the house, where you can sit comfortably and enjoy the fresh air. On the terrace behind the house is a large seating area with cushions and decorations that suit the surroundings. . . Summer, sun, sand, and sea.
The location is perfect.
The dunes are just a stone's throw away, the town center with nice shops and daily essentials is 3 minutes away, and it's only a 5-minute walk to the beach.
We stayed here for 2 weeks and felt very comfortable. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to our next break in the beautiful Egmond aan Zee.
A big thank you to the Blaauboer family, who warmly welcomed us and were there when we needed them.

Sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll
Had a great week in Egmond aan Zee in this beautifully decorated holiday home. The holiday home was very clean upon arrival with beds made (extra ordered), and very important for us, super fast WIFI in the house!!
Wonderfully quiet location next to the dunes and only a few minutes' walk from the beach and the center.
We will definitely come back!!
