Description

Completely furnished brick holiday home with central heating, consisting of entrance, bathroom with shower and toilet, separate kitchen and living room. Attic floor: 2 bedrooms.
However, we rent to a maximum of 3 people, only to 1/3 adults or 1/2 adults with 1 child from 6 years old.

The holiday home is located in the southern part of Egmond aan Zee and is situated in a quiet residential area, next to a lawn.
From the holiday home you walk approx. 5 minutes to the sandy beach/lake, and the magnificent dune landscape is just a stone’s throw away!
The city center with shops, cafés, and coffee terraces is also about a 5-minute walk away.

All beds have duvets and pillows. Bed linen and towels are included in the price!!
It is not allowed to use the towels for the beach.
You can also use INTERNET WIFI / WLAN free of charge!! The parking costs for zone C+D in Egmond aan Zee are also included in the rent, daily rate this year 14.70 euros.

Through the small entrance hall with wardrobe you reach the kitchen, with stairs to the first floor, and the living/dining room.
For relaxation you can use the sofa set with armchairs, there is also a dining table with chairs.
You can also find reading material and information about Egmond aan Zee and the surrounding area. A gas boiler provides hot water and central heating.

In the attic there are 2 bedrooms with two washbasins. The two bedrooms are separated by a connecting door.
There are duvets and pillows on all beds.
Bed linen and towels are included in the price!!

There is a stair railing at the stairs and the stairwell to the attic can be closed.

Parking is available, you can park your car near the holiday house. A license plate registration system applies for parking in Egmond aan Zee.
The parking costs for the south side of Egmond aan Zee, Zone C+D, are included in the rent! !

The entrance to the North Holland Dune Reserve is almost on your doorstep, where Scottish cattle herds and wild horses can be found. In August you will find blackberries!
There are also excellent cycling and hiking opportunities here.
It is possible to bring bicycles or rent them in the town.

There is a children's playground nearby and a playground in the dunes.

The house is rented all year.
In high season (July to 1st half Sept.), the booking period at least 2 weeks.

Prices in the price calculator are only valid for the rental period of one week. Other prices are available on request.

The price in the price calculator already includes: electricity and water consumption, gas (from Apr to Oct.), maid service, WIFI / WLAN, a parking card for Egmond aan Zee (normally € per day from March to end of Oct) and a (baby) cot.
Additional costs :
Tourist tax: € per person per night.
Gas consumption per m3: 0,50 € (only from October to April).

In the early season (January to April) and in the off season (November and 1st half December), a short-term rentals (minimum 3 nights) is possible.
However, except during school holidays.

Holiday home

The house is great, very good location, only 5 minutes on foot to the village and the beach, very good bus connection, e.g., to Alkmaar. Very kind and nice landlords.

Holiday apartment in a great location!!

Thank you very much for the friendly welcome from Mrs. Zwaan. We were very satisfied with the accommodation in the vacation apartment. The apartment is in a wonderfully quiet location, comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need, and we felt comfortable there. The nature reserve, beach, and shopping facilities are within walking distance. I can recommend this accommodation!

Centrally located and peaceful, cozy and very clean!!

We felt welcome right away! The stay in the holiday apartment was cozy, clean, and tidy.

The location is very central, everything is within walking distance. *100 meters from the dunes, the beach is within walking distance and very close to the town center.

Very nice and warm hosts.

We were very satisfied and recommend the apartment. We will gladly come back!!!

The cleanliness was absolutely lacking here. Mattress with stains, bed sheets with holes, refrigerator with hair and not hygienically clean. Stove dusty and crumbly, microwave unclean, shower limescaled, shower curtain moldy. When I pointed this out to the host, he was not cooperative. Despite it being so extreme that during a longer stay in the apartment, we couldn't breathe through our noses anymore. The host was not willing to make improvements. He said I could clean it myself. Due to these reasons, we unfortunately left and had to leave Egmond behind. We would have loved to have a nice holiday there. It's a shame that the host didn't accept anything to comply with hygienic care. This is an absolute no-go, especially in the time of Corona.

Eine hygienische Pflege? Es macht keinen Sinn, ein Ferienhaus zu putzen, das schon wieder sauber ist!
Schade, dass diese Familie frustriert war, weil sie das Ferienhaus, das sie mieten wollten, bereits vermietet war und leider an unser Ferienhaus verwiesen wurden.
Diese Familie konnte unser Ferienhaus auf der Internetseite einsehen und stimmte zu mit wie es aussieht und mit was im Ferienhaus vorhanden ist.
Seien Sie danach frustriert, denn das andere Haus auf den Bildern besser aussieht als unser Ferienhaus! Dann sehr traurig zu sagen, dass mit dem Ferienhaus viel nicht stimmt!

Sie vergessen zu erwähnen, dass wir Sie nach all Ihren falschen Kommentaren nicht mehr in unserem Ferienhaus haben wollten!
Was für eine schmutzige Familie, wie kannst du es wagen, über Hygiene zu sprechen und rauche wie ein Schornstein und dann sage, wir bekommen keine Luft mehr durch die Nase, ich kann nicht atmen!

Glücklich waren alle Gäste, die wir in der Vergangenheit hatten sehr zufrieden!

Familienurlaub

The holiday home is located quite centrally. The beach and town center are within walking distance. The house is clean and simply furnished, it has everything you need. The landlords were very nice, the contact was easy and uncomplicated. We were there with 2 adults. It may be difficult for seniors and small children as the staircase to the upper floor is very steep and can only be descended backwards. The bathroom is very small, but there are two sinks on each floor. There are 5 German TV channels available and the possibility to watch Netflix. In the description, a terrace is mentioned, but it is unfortunately used privately by the landlords. For guests, there is only a bench in front of the house. There is also no bicycle storage room. We found this very unfortunate.
Otherwise, we really liked Egmond aan Zee.

Vacation for feeling good!

We spent a wonderful week in Egmond aan Zee. The location of the house was almost ideal for us, very quiet and at the same time only 3/400 meters from the center of the village with shops and restaurants, the short distance to the sandy beach, and the beautiful North Holland Dunes Reserve is just a stone's throw away. The house is lovingly equipped with everything needed. In front of the house, there is a bench where you can relax and enjoy the view of the adjacent lawn area.

The contact with the landlords was always straightforward and problem-free.

Egmond aan Zee is definitely worth a visit, and we are probably already planning our next stay in the near future, definitely in this holiday home again.

Beautiful holiday apartment, a great week !!

We were in Egmond aan Zee for the first time. Very nice residents and a delightful dune landscape. The sea and the town are also just a stone's throw away. The holiday home is very well-equipped, very clean, and in a quiet and beautiful location. The landlords are very nice and helpful. It was a lovely and recommendable vacation. Overall, highly recommended!
