On the Eiderstedt peninsula, HUS OP'N DIEK stands idyllically in the midst of meadows and fields - surrounded by a huge garden with old trees. The thatched Frisian house is a paradise for families with dogs and nature lovers.
To the delight of all guests, there is a playground, slide, sandpit, swing as well as bicycles, boules court and table tennis. The fruit trees are great for climbing - if you like, you can of course also harvest fruit.
Sunny terraces and idyllic spots in the garden invite you to read and relax in the restful North Sea air. If you feel like it, you can play a game of boules or cross the beautiful peninsula by bike. Families with dogs enjoy the great outdoors with long walks along the beaches or simply right outside the door.
Hidden under the reed roof of the Friesenhaus are 3 spacious holiday domiciles with a south-facing terrace and garden access. Tasteful furnishings with all the comforts you would not want to do without, even on holiday, give the house a cosy atmosphere to feel good in. In the evenings you can enjoy a cup of tea and rum by the fireplace and the whole family can sit around the large dining table to chat and play. The little guests feel comfortable in the cosy children's room, even if the weather doesn't play along, and in the alcove bed it's good to dream after lots of healthy North Sea air.

On the edge of the Wadden Sea National Park in a protected landscape area, HUS OPNDIEK is situated on a quiet road outside the village - without traffic. A paradise for nature lovers! Around the house there is a huge garden with old trees, children's playground, boules court and many nice places to relax. You can start beautiful cycling and hiking tours around the peninsula directly from the house. Dogs can run free here.
If you want to leave your car behind, there is a bus stop 500 metres from the house. Osterhever is a small village on the north-west coast of the Eiderstedt peninsula. The popular sandy beaches of Westerhever- Sand (6km), Stuffhusen (8km) or Ording (14km) are within easy reach. A beautiful path leads through the fields to the small beach Tetenbüllspieker (3km). There is a small sailing harbour, playground, shower and snack bar. At high tide you can swim, sail, surf or walk on the mudflats.
In addition to the many cultural activities on Eiderstedt and in the surrounding area, there are plenty of shopping opportunities. Interesting excursion destinations are the towns of Husum (25km), Friedrichstadt (20km), or Tönning (16km). Like in Osterhever (1,5km), there are churches worth seeing in all villages. Garding (7km) offers a traditional weekly market, lots of culture and good shopping opportunities.
