Description

Comfortable and spacious holiday home, on a size of 250sqm, in Sauerland with 1 living room, 1 large kitchen, 9 bedrooms in world cities theme, 3 bathrooms, ideal for a maximum of 18 guests. With 5 parking spaces, 2 for the house and 3 next to the house, you are fully equipped. In the kitchen is a wood stove for the coziness.
We have specially designed a play area for the children with lots of toys. The kitchen is extensively equipped with appliances and space for our guests. There is also a dishwasher and a washing machine. For the little ones even beds (2) and high chairs (2).
The living room and kitchen are nicely laid out and there are plenty of games to keep you and the kids entertained.
In nice weather you can use the barbecue outside and sit with everyone on our beer terrace or lounge terrace.

Wifi is free and included with price! As well as 2 cots / high chairs. All reservations are based on self-care.
Negotiation is possible: please ask for prices for confirmation. The system does not always work properly, so longer stays (5/6 nights) are often priced lower
Energy supplement: summer per weekend €, winter €

The total price is therefore the rental price plus energy. The price also includes the tourist tax: you will receive it from us!
The total price is always for the whole house for the rented period, no matter if you arrive with 10 or 15 guests.

Family weekend

Once a year we get together with our children, who live scattered around Germany, and the grandchildren for a weekend together. We were 10 adults and 6 children. The house offered enough space for all of us. We were very happy about the 3 highchairs.
There was everything you need for a large family in terms of crockery. Even the dachshund was allowed to come along. Unfortunately, we had some problems with the cleanliness.
The bedrooms, very nicely decorated with different themes, were quite dusty. In the kitchen, the cooker and dishwasher were waiting for a thorough cleaning. The wheels on the lower basket of the dishwasher were missing on the front left and right.
For this one weekend it was fine so far.
But we had the impression that nobody really takes care of the house, which is a pity
The grocery store was nearby and the Gasthof Kettler is highly recommended. We had a nice time together in this house and that was the most important thing for us.

We had a lovely time at your house.

Dear Sir,
after a very long period of Corona, we were very much looking forward to the short break. Thank you again for allowing us to reschedule our holiday twice so easily. The journey went very well. We were all curious about the house. There is truly plenty of sleeping space. When we wanted to spend time together in the kitchen/living room, it was a bit cramped though.
Outside, there are great seating options. The weather was dry all weekend, so we were able to make use of them as well. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the provisions. They are all wet and partly moldy, something went wrong with the storage here.
We had a wonderful time in your house. It was really beneficial. Thank you very, very much!

Wir werden versuchen, kurz nach Corona wieder neu zu starten. Wir haben nicht zu viel Miete gehabt, so dass die Gartenkissen, die im Loungesofa gelagert wurden, nicht ganz trocken blieben. Wir werden in Zukunft darauf achten.

A good time in Assinghausen

We found the house in Assinghausen easily; key pick-up and parking were flawless. Your information was extensive and helpful.
The house is old but charming. We liked it. Especially the bedrooms are beautifully designed and decorated.
Unfortunately, cleanliness was a bit lacking. All rooms were quite dusty but overall acceptable.

Just for your information: the TV is missing a Scart cable, so watching TV is not possible. (But we didn't miss it.) One of the pillows has a seam torn. Overall, we had a good time in Assinghausen, the location of the house is wonderful for extensive hiking tours. Warm regards, J.S.

We had nice weather, so we could even sit in the garden. The village of Assinghausen is lovely with all those half-timbered houses. It's nice that there are various hikes starting nearby. Something for everyone!

a very nice stay in a beautiful accommodation!

With our girls' group, we have a nice weekend every year. This time with 17 girls, for whom this house is ideal! The house is situated in a beautiful, quiet environment. And the supermarket was also quite close. In short, we had a very nice stay in lovely accommodation! We went clubbing at Club Tenne and the après-ski bar De Brabander in Winterberg. It was quite a drive with the taxi, which was a shame. But the house is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. And the supermarket was also conveniently close. Einen wunderschönen Urlaub

Yesterday we all arrived home safely. We had a wonderful holiday. We want to compliment you on the house. Comfortable beds, soap dispensers in the bathrooms, toilet blocks in the toilet, very well-equipped kitchen. Incredibly nice rooms with their different themes. A successful vacation

We had a wonderful stay (9 days) in your house in Assinghausen. There were 11 of us and we had plenty of space in this large house. The themed bedrooms based on world cities were also fun. The inventory was fine and sufficient. The toys, reading material, and WiFi were also greatly appreciated. The garden is a bit sloping, but has nice seating areas (be careful of falling apples..) and lots of privacy. In short, it was very pleasant and we look forward to returning!

Assinghausen itself is a nice little town. It's great to have a neighborhood supermarket very close to the house with fresh bread in the morning, as well as a beautiful playground across the street. The area is very beautiful. Willingen is recommended, with plenty to do. The smaller towns also have their own attractive ambiance. A visit to the Bruchhausen rocks was a unique experience. The Sauerland region definitely surprised us!

Thank you so much for everything. Your dedication, flexibility, and proper handling contributed to a successful holiday. We hope to return another time!

Would book it again anytime!

We were in Assinghausen in September 2017 with 18 colleagues. The place is very beautiful. It takes about 10 minutes by car to get to Olsberg for shopping. In Assinghausen, there is a small supermarket that offers delicious rolls and a very good selection of groceries, so there is always the possibility to get missing items.
The holiday home is very cozy and nicely furnished. Since we had very bad weather, we could not use the outdoor area well. There are several smaller terraces. The kitchen with its 2 large tables is very nice and equipped with everything you need for a cozy get-together. The bedrooms are tastefully and thematically decorated. We definitely recommend the house for a larger group or family and would book it again anytime.

Hello dear van der Pouw Kraan family,

We had a lovely time in the holiday home in Assinghausen. For a group of 14-18 adults, it is a good holiday accommodation with enough space for everyone. The 9 double rooms are adequately furnished and cozy! And there is plenty of space for gatherings in the large kitchen and living room. It would be an enhancement for the holiday home if the terrace were covered, as it would take away the fear of a light thunderstorm or drizzle. We were satisfied with our vacation home!

Very good!

We really enjoyed our stay at your house, it was beautifully furnished and clean. It was a bit cold at the beginning, but you have plenty of radiators on site. We slept very well in the beds, the mattresses were very good. From your house, you can do a lot of activities, for example, drive to Winterberg about 20 minutes away for skiing, sledding, hiking, shopping, and dining in the city. The distance to Willingen is exactly the same, where one can also do a lot. Olsberg offers Aldi / Netto / Rewe / Hit and so on for shopping.

We highly recommend the accommodation.

Christmas 2015

Dear Hans,
we had a very pleasant stay at your house. We didn't lack anything, even the youngest guests found different toys in the 3 toy boxes than their own. The fireplace in the kitchen was our favorite spot, as well as the beautiful terrace where we could grill and drink Feuerzangbowle thanks to the mild winter. The friendly house manager was always very helpful with all our questions, especially with getting game meat. The 3 generations thank you for the beautifully furnished house and will definitely recommend it.

Great house for a large group

We had a fun, very cozy weekend in the beautiful house in Assinghausen. In total, there were 5 mothers with 10 children. There were so many pretty rooms, each with different names and nicely arranged, that everyone found a place as they wanted. The "who with whom" is always important, especially for the children. Hans gave us great tips in advance (restaurants nearby, leisure activities, etc.). ) and we spent the time overall very varied, mostly outdoors. The house is well-maintained and absolutely nothing was missing. Ideal for a large group or 2-3 families.

A great house for a group

We had a great weekend at the holiday home in Assinghausen. The house is very quiet and has a terrace with a grill. We were 15 people and had enough space. The bedrooms are friendly and brightly decorated and named after major cities. We lacked nothing in the house. Everything was clean and in good condition! The contact and service with the landlord and concierge were excellent and very nice and courteous. The layout of the rooms was ideal for our purposes. A great house for a group.
