Description

Our cosy and comfortably furnished holiday home is located in the leisure and recreation area at the bathing lake in Aurich-Tannenhausen (approx. 50 m walk to the wonderful natural bathing lake with white sandy beach).

The well thought-out room layout and the extensive furnishings invite you to feel at home and offer enough space for 6 people (3 bedrooms). At the same time, 2 additional small children could spend their holidays with us in travel cots.

In addition to the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, Thermomix, coffee machine, waffle iron, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron etc. are available in the utility room.

Spend cosy afternoons on one of the two terraces or in the garden. And if the weather doesn't cooperate for the beach, take a trip or spend your day indoors.

On arrival, you will find freshly made beds, shower towels, hand towels and tea towels, as well as kitchen rolls, dishwasher tablets and toilet paper.

We look forward to your visit and hope that you will want for nothing during your holiday!

Location and surroundings of object

The white beach of the natural bathing lake is the reason why the East Frisians jokingly call the bathing lake the "Rimini of East Frisia".
Its good water quality ensures that the lake is much appreciated by holidaymakers and locals.

Every summer, the Aurich tourist office organises an attractive programme: beach volleyball, beach soccer, water games, pony rides, aerobics & dance, cinema evenings, Baggersee rally, children's Olympics, treasure hunts and much more. There is guaranteed to be something for everyone.
Or you can visit the aqua park or go wakeboarding.

Many sights can be reached quickly from Aurich. The proximity to the East Frisian Islands invites you to take a day trip. Visit one of the fishing villages, such as Greetsiel, or go to the seal station in Norddeich.

There are several new indoor swimming pools in Aurich and the surrounding area. Go for walks or bike rides in the charming forest and moor landscape. Go fishing, wakeboarding, skating or climbing in the nearby climbing forest or climbing hall.

After acceptance of our holiday home, the amount will be refunded, provided that no damage to our holiday home or the inventory has been caused by the tenant. The refund will be made at the latest within 5 days after the end of the tenancy ;-)

Long-term rentals on request

Cancellation terms:

You can cancel the rental agreement before the start of the rental period. In the event of such a cancellation, we will claim compensation as follows: - Cancellation up to 90 days before the start of the rental period 25% of the rental price, - Cancellation from 89 days to 30 days before the start of the rental period 50% of the rental price, - Cancellation from 29 days to the start of the rental period 100% of the rental price You have the option to provide a replacement tenant who will take over your lease in full.

Super holiday house.

Very well-equipped, clean holiday home. We didn't miss anything! The location near the bathing lake is just great. The 3 bedrooms are suitable for families with children as well as 3 adult couples. The landlord (Christian) is very nice and extremely friendly. We will pass on this tip to our friends and acquaintances and say thank you again at this point.

Top

We stayed in this great house for 7 days. The lake is easy to reach in a 2-minute walk. Highly recommended, especially with younger children. The house has everything you need. The sofas are actually very comfortable, but the seat cushions often slide. That is the only small point of criticism. If you want a stable internet connection, sometimes you have to adjust the router minimally. The landlord immediately and very kindly helped us with that. You can't go wrong with this house! The house has 5 stars and the landlord truly deserves it.

Zu 1.) Wir hatten bereits unter die Sitzkissen Antirutschmatten gelegt. Vielleicht sind die auch verrutscht. ;-) Wir kümmern uns.

Zu 2.) Leider warten wir seit fast 2 Jahren auf den Glasfaseranschluss. Mittlerweile wurden zwar die Leerrohre im Ferienhausgebiet verlegt – aber niemand weiß genau, wann endlich auch die Glasfaserkabel gelegt und angeschlossen werden. Ich fürchte, dass das noch Monate dauern wird. Soviel zur Planung/ Zukunft.
In der Vergangenheit standen wir vor der Wahl, einen DSL-Anschluss mit 2Mbit/s abzuschließen, oder einen GigaCube (4G-Mobilnetz) zu nutzen. Die letzte Alternative war und ist nach wie vor die beste Lösung. Denn mit dem Giga-Cube erreichen wir im Schnitt 10Mbit/s. Warum in der letzten Zeit (ca. 3 Wochen) derartige Schwankungen herrschen und zeitweise der GigaCube von der einen auf die andere Fensterbank gestellt werden muss, vermag uns Vodafone nicht erklären. Offiziell liegt keine Störung vor. Wir bleiben dran.

Wir freuen uns, dass Euch alles bei uns und am Badesee gefallen hat. Kommt bald wieder. Den Buchungskalender für 2023 werden wir in diesem Monat noch freigeben.

Great family vacation

Family vacation in a dreamy house by the lake

Had a great family vacation right by the lively bathing lake, with wakeboard facility, water climbing park, playground, and beach bar. The house is very clean, lovingly decorated, and equipped with everything you need. Plus, there is a small beautiful garden with two terraces for relaxing.

Schön, dass es euch am Badesee und bei uns im Ferienhaus gefallen hat.

Kurze Nachfrage: Meint Ihr mit "lebhaft", dass am Badesee zu viele Aktionen in der Hauptsaison stattfinden (z.B. 2x pro Woche Live-Musik am Strand/ Wakeboardanlage, zu viele Besucher bei herrlichem Wetter am Badesee)?

Gerade in der Hauptsaison wird Einiges am Badesee angeboten und das zieht natürlich viele Gäste und Besucher an. Wir hören von vielen unseren Gästen, dass sie sich so einen so tollen Erholungsort ohne Eintritt und mit derart vielen Attraktionen vor der eigenen Haustür wünschten. Der See ist gepflegt und die DLRG ist auch vor Ort. ;-)

Die Betreiber (Northbound) der Wakeboardanlagen haben natürlich einen Spagat zwischen Anwohnern, Feriengästen, Tagestouristen und Besuchern zu meistern: In der Regel endet jede Musikveranstaltung um 22:00 Uhr. Vereinzelt gab und gibt es kurze Verlängerungen oder Zugaben. Darüber hinaus sprechen wir über drei Monate im Jahr (Sommer). Es freut viele, dass Kultur-und Livemusikveranstaltungen organisiert werden und zwar völlig kostenlos. Zudem werden viele Künstler, die durch Corona schwere Zeiten erlebt haben, unterstützt. Das sollte man nicht vergessen. ;-) Es wird also auch in Zukunft tolle Veranstaltungen für unsere Gäste aus Aurich und Umgebung am Strand geben; da bin ich mir sicher.

Best decision and booking

At first, we were a bit skeptical since it was the first time we booked not directly at the North Sea but inland.

But we were not disappointed. We found the cleanest and best-equipped holiday home so far.

The amenities were really exceptionally good and left nothing to be desired for us as a family of 5. If you are a family that loves sports such as waterskiing, wakeboarding, or simply swimming, this is the right place for you as the beach is only a short 200-300m away.

The only "critique" is the very small fridge, which with 5 people in summer necessitates shopping every 2 days. BUT that doesn't stop us from planning to stay in the same house next year as much as possible.

Die Küche wurde vor ca. 5 Jahren - von den "alten Eigentümern"- geplant und eingebaut. Sollten wir in Zukunft eine neue Küche planen, werden wir bestimmt einen größeren Kühlschrank (>120 Liter Fassungsvermögen) berücksichtigen. Aber zum Glück ist die Küche noch in einem sehr guten Zustand, so dass wir uns im Augenblick mit diesem Thema nicht beschäftigen müssen. ;-)

Holiday home at Tannenhauser Badesee

A very beautiful and well-equipped holiday home on the Tannenhauser lake with a very nice bathing beach. The water entry is shallow and ideal for small children. Behind it is a lovely swimming area. When reporting deficiencies in the house, immediate action was taken and solutions provided quickly. We did not find the noise from the neighboring construction site disturbing, and except for two exceptions, it was also quiet around the lake area from around 10 PM.

Nice contact with the landlord. As a small improvement, we would like to have a door gate (flexibly attachable/clampable) at the stairs so that we can put toddlers to sleep in the children's room and still sit downstairs without worrying that they might fall down the stairs.

We fondly remember our vacation at the holiday home and would love to come back.

Zu den erwähnten Punkten:
1. Gerade in diesem Sommer und nach dem langen Lockdown, gab es gerade an den wenigen Sonnentagen einen größeren Gästeansturm. Die Wakeboard-Anlage war ein wahrer Anziehungs-Magnet. Mittwochs und Samstag wird dort Live-Musik veranstaltet und i.d.R. wird Punkt 22:00 Uhr der Musikpegel runter geregelt.
Die Stadt Aurich hat "Augen und Ohren" auf den Badesee und die Ferienhaussiedlung und alle Interessen haben sich - aus unserer Sicht - sehr gut ausgependelt. ;-)
2. Wir haben über ein solches Schutzgitter direkt mit Übernahme des Hauses 2020 nachgedacht. Wirtschaftlich gesehen ist das keine große Investition. Das ist aber nicht der Grund, warum wir uns gegen ein solches Gitter an der Treppe entschieden haben. Vielmehr möchten wir niemanden in falsche Sicherheit wiegen. Denn solche Schutzgitter bieten keine 100% Sicherheit. Wir möchten die Verantwortung als Vermieter nicht übernehmen, sollte ein Kind trotz einer solchen Vorrichtung die Treppe runter fallen.

Beautiful and very tastefully and high-quality furnished holiday home. With attention to detail and plenty of space for the whole family. The kitchen is well equipped, even with a Thermomix.
The location is perfect too: on the edge of an idyllic holiday home settlement, with direct access to the bathing lake. You just have to walk around the house once and you are practically on the well-kept sunbathing lawn.

We stayed as a family in the holiday house.
The house was very well maintained and had good equipment such as the Thermomix in the kitchen. The location of the holiday house is very beautiful, the bathing lake is practically right in front of the door. Likewise, the shops can be reached within minutes. We were very satisfied and would come back anytime. The perfect place to relax.

Wir freuen uns natürlich, dass es Ihnen bei uns im Ferienhaus gefallen hat.

Den Einbaukühlschrank (110L Nutzinhalt) werden wir auf "die Schnelle" sicherlich nicht gegen einen größeren austauschen können. Dazu müsste eine komplett neue Küche geplant und eingebaut werden.
Die angebrachten Fliegen- bzw. Insekten im OG scheinen nicht zu reichen, um die kleinen Tierchen abzuhalten, nach drinnen zu kommen.

Anfang 2021 haben wir einen Termin mit einem Fensterbauer, der uns individuelle Vorschläge für den Insektenschutz im EG macht (zwei Terrassenflügeltüren, Nord-Ost & Süd-West).

Wir freuen uns auf jeden Fall, Sie bald wieder als unsere Gäste begrüßen zu dürfen.

The equipment is truly extensive and very nicely put together.

I really liked your holiday home, the equipment is extensive and very nicely put together. To enjoy the morning sun, I placed the small barbecue table and a garden chair on the kitchen terrace. I would have liked a sun lounger, but one can make do with a towel or blanket on the lawn.

Klasse Ferienhaus

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Ulrich,

We do not have an account on Google, so we were unable to leave a review.

We felt very comfortable and had a lovely Pentecost holiday in 2020.

The house is very well-equipped, including new kitchen appliances like the Thermomix. We didn't miss anything.

We found the house clean, and the handover etc. went smoothly. The swimming pond was unfortunately closed due to Corona, but nonetheless, there is a lot to do there. In fact, we were able to enjoy the tranquility there.

We can only recommend the house; from there, you can make very nice excursions by bike or car, all the way to the North Sea coast.

As an overall rating, we would give 5 out of 5 points.
