Description

Spacious, luxurious and fully equipped detached holiday home. Quiet location. Beautiful view. Bakery, restaurants, supermarkets etc within walking distance.

The house is divided into two separate apartments both with private entrance, terrace, garden and parking. The main house is so spacious (230m2) that there is enough living space for 13 people (and baby) (3 bathrooms, 6 bedrooms). The annex house is very cozy and has two bedrooms, kitchen, living room and a bathroom (4 people).

The main house has 6 sheep bedrooms (13 beds, all new end 2019, 210x90cm). In addition, a large living room and dining room with several seating areas and a large dining table (almost 4 meters!). The living room is very sunny and from the bench sitting you have a magnificent view over the countryside.
Further three new bathrooms and new separate kitchen with complete new equipment. You enter the garden via a descending path next to the front door. In the garden is a wooden garden house with garden chairs/chairs and various fruit trees (apple, plum, cherry and walnut)

At the valley side of the house you will find the appartment/annex home with living room, kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms (1x 160x210cm, 2x 90x210cm). There is also a sunny terrace and garden

You will feel at home!

All amenities, such as bakery, supermarket and restaurants are within walking distance. For the children there is a large playground with large playing field in the immediate vicinity
On the outskirts of the village is an indoor swimming pool and a heated natural pool. Enjoy the nature (ebike biking and hiking), the culture and today's hospitality. Excursions such as Fort Fun, Winterberg and Frankenberg, are only a 15 minute drive. In the village are many other activities.

Charging station for e-cars is located at the parking lot of Gemeindehaus (50 meters)

We are happy to rent our holiday home, which was renovated in 2014, for a midweek, weekend or week. The house is spacious and fully equipped. The house is located in the center of the beautiful town of Hallenberg in the Sauerland. The view over Hallenberg and the mountains is great, both in summer and winter.
You rent direct from the owner. Welcome to the southernmost town in the Hochsauerland district and the sunniest region in North Rhine-Westphalia!

The historic half-timbered town at the foot of the Rothaargebirge shines with its numerous well-tended monuments and its attractive location in the middle of the "Medebacher Bucht", which was designated as a "European bird sanctuary" due to its high ecological importance and is now home to a variety of endangered animal and plant species.

The third smallest city in North Rhine-Westphalia is known as a place of pilgrimage and for its open-air stage in a former quarry. Once a year, the otherwise quiet town experiences what is probably the loudest night in the Sauerland - precisely when the boys attend the traditional Hallenberg Easter night, an ancient, almost eerie spectacle that is sure to impress you too.

With its varied landscape, the Hallenberg holiday region invites you to numerous nature experiences and offers the right backdrop to unwind and breathe deeply. The hectic everyday life is quickly forgotten.

Top accommodation for a great time together

We were on site with friends and children and felt comfortable right away. We had enough space and everyone had their area. The kitchen was also sufficiently equipped. The quiet in the village was very pleasant. We will come back and can absolutely recommend the house. The communication beforehand was also excellent.

Super beautiful stay

We were 11 people and a baby in the house and felt very comfortable. There was plenty of space, a large table, and a big cozy sofa area. In the kitchen, we found everything we needed. All rooms were very clean and tidy, and the beds were very comfortable. The communication beforehand was uncomplicated, friendly, and quick.
We would recommend the house to everyone and would be happy to come back!

The perfect vacation!

We arrived and immediately felt comfortable.
The house is located in the center of Hallenberg.
It is quiet, but also perfect for celebrations.
There was so much toys for the kids in the living room.
The rooms were very clean. The bathrooms all modernized.
The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable.
There was more than enough dishes, even plastic cups for the children.
Our teenagers were simply thrilled with the granny flat.
We had a perfect rest.

We would recommend it.

Super relaxed family holiday

We rented the holiday home and the separate holiday flat with 7 adults and 6 children.
The communication with Mrs Timmer was very pleasant, quick and accommodating.
In the holiday home there is sufficient and comprehensible information about the house and the surroundings.
The crockery and also the furnishings are ideally suited for a holiday with children (our youngest was 2 years old). Everything is sufficiently and appropriately available. Even toys for the kids.
As a small suggestion for improvement, we would recommend the purchase of a toaster and possibly a microwave. Especially with smaller children, something needs to be heated quickly
The cleanliness of the large holiday home and also of the holiday flat is absolutely worth mentioning and praising.
We can absolutely recommend the holiday home and the holiday flat.

Generational vacation

We had a great time in Hallenberg. The house is incredibly clean, living and dining room very spacious. Several toys are available, so you don't need to bring your own. :-) The kitchen is fully equipped. Just great. 6 bedrooms with 2 COMFORTABLE beds each. Sufficient storage space. The bathrooms are in top condition, all new. The garden is very well maintained, with a grill and garden furniture available. Communication with the landlady was smooth and very prompt. Summary: Drive there and simply enjoy the vacation.

A clean and complete house!

A beautiful and complete house where you can stay comfortably with multiple families/friends. There are plenty of cozy seating areas, including one in the living room with a stunning view. The house is well equipped with a complete inventory for both the kitchen and the rest of the house (enough cutlery, pans, seating, etc.). The house is conveniently located for enjoyable excursions, such as Winterberg. Nearby, there are numerous beautiful hiking trails. And a nice bakery within walking distance to get your fresh bread in the morning! And for the afternoon, delicious pastries! There is also a grocery store nearby. What the children really loved was the playground with a cable car, swing, slide, and a small water park where they could play! We would love to come back again!

Extended weekend with friends

We come from Hesse and the Ruhr area and meet with friends for the third time in Hallenberg, Burgstrasse 12 for a long weekend.
The house is very well furnished and equipped. The bakery and supermarket are nearby, and for those who don't want to cook themselves, there are very good restaurants in Hallenberg.
The beds are good, there is enough space for everyone at the dining table, and a separate TV room is also available. Simply great. We feel comfortable in the house.
We have not been here for the last time.

Easter with the family

We visited with 12 adults and 5 children.
We all enjoyed the house and the beautiful surroundings.
The house is a great starting point for hiking or mountain biking tours.
The playground and the small but nice swimming pool, which are only a 10-minute walk from the house, brought great joy to our children.

The house itself is very well equipped and left nothing to be desired for us, the very large table in the dining room where we all had room together was great.
The kids can play and draw in the adjacent room (living room), so the family was always together.

Pentecost in Hallenberg

Very nice holiday home. We also had the granny flat. Plenty of space for everyone, and the children also had a lot of fun around the house, or in the huge living room :-)

Parking is also not a problem. It's quick to get to the bakery, Rewe, and Aldi in a few minutes.

We also went on trips to Winterberg and Bad Berleburg, each about 20 km away.

Before the trip, we had several questions for the landlords, which were answered very quickly and kindly.

So, top-notch. gladly again!!

Sehr zufrieden

We were a group of young couples, some with children. We felt very comfortable in the house and did not really miss anything in terms of equipment. It is decorated very tastefully and lovingly, there is plenty of space for children to play and run around. You can also take nice walks in the village. To visit something or go out, you have to drive a bit longer, but that was okay. The value for money is completely fine for such a large house. The communication with the landlords was absolutely satisfactory. Thank you again (also for the merci package ;-) )

Lots of space and a beautiful environment

The house has 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There is a large dining room where everyone can sit together at one table and an equally large living room. (There is a separate apartment with 2 more bedrooms and a bathroom that can also be rented additionally.) The bathrooms are very nice as they were renovated just last year. The kitchen equipment is also new (including a new stove and dishwasher). All rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. Overall, the house is in good condition. There is also free Wi-Fi access.
We felt very comfortable here. It is really ideal and recommendable for larger travel groups.

We had a wonderful stay.

The weekend of 20 February we have stayed with a large group in the main house . We had a wonderful time. Plenty of room in the house. A large table where we all can sit, eat and play games. A new kitchen and new bathrooms, they where very clean. The beds were bokspring beds thay slept wonderfully. Skiing we have done in Winterberg and Zuschen, it is just five kilometers from the house. very nice is that there is an old bakery house in the same street.. Delicious sandwiches at breakfast, and in the afternoon German pastries. We got here by the owner, . Hallenberg is wonderful village. we saw a poolarea in the village, that will bring us back In the summer for sure.

Sehr grossräumige Ferienwohnung

We spent a weekend with our family of 14 people in this holiday home in Hallenberg. It is a very spacious house with a living room, dining room, 7 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms in the main house, and in the apartment below, there is another living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom. Next to the house, there is "Das Backhaus," where you can buy freshly baked bread from a stone oven every Saturday. In the middle of Hallenberg, there are several restaurants and snack bars. There are also 2 supermarkets in Hallenberg.
This holiday home is conveniently located for trips to Winterberg or Willingen.
