Our newly renovated holiday home offers modern furnishings combined with old historical building elements to create a rustic cottage atmosphere.
It is located on a mountain cone with a magnificent view of the forests and mountains.
Ideal for a quiet and relaxing family holiday

The beautiful hiking and cycling trails through romantic forests or in the Bavarian Forest National Park will delight you.
Nearby excursion destinations in Passau, Austria and the Czech Republic offer many sights.

You will certainly feel at home in the cosily furnished living room with tiled stove. Wollaberg is located in the southern Bavarian Forest, not far from the Czech and Austrian borders

The place of pilgrimage is not far from Passau, the gateway to the Bavarian Forest. The parish village lies at an altitude of 769 m above sea level and has about 500 inhabitants. Wollaberg belongs to the so-called Seven Carnic Villages.

A large open-air and indoor swimming pool with a giant slide, thermal bath, whirlpool and sanarium is close by.
Two bathing lakes with sunbathing lawns, high-wire climbing courses provide variety for your holiday.

The wonderful Hochficht skiing area in Austria is only 20 minutes away.
Also countless kilometres of cross-country skiing trails, guided snowshoe hikes, horse-drawn carriage rides, a toboggan run and an ice rink provide variety for your holiday.

wonderful

My husband and I spent 4 days at Haus Pfarrgütl and can only report good things. We liked it very much. The house is lovingly furnished, has a beautiful location and the landlords are incredibly nice. We will be very happy to come back.

We, seven of us (r children and 4 adults), spent a very nice holiday at Pfarrgüte. The house is extremely lovingly furnished, with many small details that make it very special. You can feel the passion that went into it. We felt very comfortable. The key handover also went smoothly, and we were greeted very nicely and then also bid farewell. The location is fantastic. I can highly recommend this very nice accommodation.

Simply great.

Enchanted by the charm of the alpine huts in the winter wonderland, we were immediately thrilled by this quaint dwelling :)
Very nice landlords and beautiful nature.

Great time out!

We spent just under 1 week in the off-season in this one-of-a-kind!
There is no other like it!
Not even in the open-air museum!
The Reidl family has put so much heart and soul into this jewel, it's unbelievably beautiful!
Add to that the unique location, on the edge of town with absolute peace and quiet in the countryside and a view of the valley!
We have rarely felt so comfortable on holiday.
All excursion destinations can be reached easily and quickly from there.
This place is wildly romantic!
We would love to come back anytime!

Schöner Urlaub

We spent 14 days in this very beautiful holiday home. The landlords warmly welcomed us on the day of arrival and briefly explained everything necessary. The house is located on a hill at the end of a street. The view from the terrace into the landscape is beautiful. The silence during the day and especially at night is indescribable. We come from the city and were immediately thrilled. Breakfast with bird chirping and butterflies on the terrace in front of the house is something special. For shopping, there is a store about 2 km away in Jandelsbrunn, where there is also a small lake with refreshments. Larger shopping should be done in Waldkirchen, about 5 km away. There are all supermarkets available there. We went on a hiking vacation and destinations in the Bavarian Forest and the Dreiländereck can be easily reached by car from here. We felt very comfortable here and can highly recommend this house.

Schöne Ferienwohnung

My husband and I spent 6 days in the vacation rental. The apartment is clean, beautiful, and cozy, although not very bright. Mrs. Reidl welcomed us very warmly and explained everything. Unfortunately, the weather was not as nice as we had hoped, so we couldn't use the beautiful private garden much. A tip for allergy sufferers: let Mrs. Reidl know if you have a dust mite allergy because everything to make the apartment allergy-friendly is available. And if you enjoy walking, a visit to the Bavarian Forest is definitely worth it!

A magical retreat!

The little house is incredibly cozy and lovingly furnished and has everything you need. A tiled stove inside, a barbecue, and a small garden with a fantastic view outside - depending on the weather, you can find a place to retreat and relax everywhere. Located quietly at the end of a street, you are completely alone here and can relax perfectly. There are many beautiful spots for hiking around the village, and shopping facilities are not far away. In addition, a warm welcome from the landlady, who explains "your" little house - so no questions remain unanswered.

We have absolutely nothing to complain about and will gladly come back :-)
