Your 5-star holiday flat
The luxuriously furnished, cosy 85 m² holiday flat is located in a quiet residential area and green surroundings on the ground floor of a new 5-family house facing south (living room and terrace area) with a wonderful garden terrace. The flat is completely newly furnished and decorated. State-of-the-art entertainment electronics with SMART-TV in all rooms and WLAN. You will feel very comfortable here. You can find more detailed information with many more pictures on our own homepage .
When you arrive late, you will find your keys and the garage door remote control in a key safe, for which you will receive the access code from us.
You can then park your car comfortably and safely in the underground car park and take the lift to the front door of your holiday home.
Equipment details
All rooms are equipped with external blinds (can also be darkened during the day) and underfloor heating. The living rooms and bedrooms are laid with hygienic, homely design flooring, the other rooms with elegant Italian tiles. The flat is networked to the internet and equipped with satellite TV/radio reception.
There are a total of 3 TV options in your holiday flat: 2 SMART-TVs with satellite reception/internet (living room 46", bedroom 1 40") as well as SAT-TV via PC card/monitor in bedroom 2. In the living room, a home cinema system with Blue Ray player provides entertainment and the right sound. In bedroom 1, the bathroom and the kitchen, a modern wall-mounted radio will entertain you if required. In bedroom 2, a home cinema system provides the sound for the PC and TV/radio reception
The living room with entertainment - 26 sqm:
The living room is both luxuriously and comfortably furnished, guaranteeing you relaxing evenings after your excursions or relaxing entertaining time in bad weather. On the comfortable sofa set, where 2 people can also sleep comfortably, you will really feel at home in front of the white country house showcase wall unit and the exclusive Smart TV/Home Cinema entertainment equipment and enjoy your holiday. The installation of two additional guest beds is possible here.
A round dining table offers you a cosy place for sociable evenings with family and friends.

The kitchen - 11 sqm:
The modern, fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. In addition to all kitchen utensils, you have a ceramic hob, a multifunction oven, a microwave oven, a fridge-freezer combination and a dishwasher at your disposal.
Here you have another dining area at your disposal - perfect for breakfast or a quick meal in between.
Bedroom 1 - 14 sqm:
You will sleep and relax comfortably in the 180x200cm double bed with comfort mattresses as well as summer and winter top beds - or watch TV comfortably with the SMART-TV on the opposite wall. A 3m wide wardrobe drawer offers you enough space for your holiday wardrobe. For your valuables, a large laptop safe provides security in the wardrobe.
The bedroom 2 / office / children's playroom - 12 sqm:
Bedroom 2 can be combined according to your wishes. In addition to sleeping up to 2 people on an 80x200cm single bed and another bed of the same size underneath, which you can pull out if necessary, this room also offers space for your children as a playroom (extensive range of toys available). In addition, a desk, a roll container with extensive office material, PC incl. monitor with internet connection and TV reception as well as a printer are at your disposal. There is further space for your holiday clothes in a second 1.50 m wide wardrobe.
The modern luxury bathroom - 5 sqm:
The spacious Ocean comfort bathtub with a combined shower zone behind a design shower wall invites you to relax. A large rain shower head in combination with a hand-held shower head meets all requirements. In addition, a wall-hung washdown WC, a bidet as well as a washbasin with vanity unit and a 120x80cm mirror await you here. LED cosmetic mirror, hairdryer, bathroom scales as well as sufficient storage space and shelves are of course available.
We provide 1 towel and 1 bath towel per person free of charge.
The hallway - 9 sqm:
In the utility cupboard you will find the technical centre and household equipment as well as a wardrobe. A decorative shoe cupboard keeps the reception tidy.

Your holiday home is located in Vahrendorf, southwest of Hamburg, directly on the city border. Vahrendorf is a district of the municipality of Rosengarten in the district of Harburg, very close to the Schwarze Berge Wildlife Park.

The motorway exits Marmstorf (A7) and Marmstorf/Lürade (A261, connection between A7 and A1) are only 2 minutes/ 2 km away, without any noise from the motorway. You are travelling:

Infrastructure
With a well-stocked EDEKA market and a bakery, both only 100m away, there are the best shopping facilities for your daily needs within walking distance of the front door. In the village you will also find a branch of the Volksbank with an ATM.
There is a bicycle rental in the village. We will gladly make the booking for you. There is also a hairdresser in your neighbourhood.
With a general practitioner and a dentist, you will find the most important medical helpers directly in the village. The nearest hospital, the Asklepios Clinic HH-Harburg, is only 6 km away.
The HarburgerCity with the shopping centres Harburg Arkaden, Marktkauf Center and Phoenix Center can be reached by car in 7 km or by bus line 340 in 20 minutes.
Restaurants
"Erhorn - das Restaurant" is only 50 m away directly in front of your holiday flat and offers you a wide range of culinary delights in a stylish atmosphere without having to move the car. You can also have a delicious breakfast here with advance notice. This restaurant is one of our favourites, not only because of its neighbourly location but especially because of the excellent value for money it offers. The Vahrendorf shooting match is also held here every year in July.
You will find a large number of other inns and restaurants close by in the communities of Rosengarten or Seevetal or in nearby Hamburg or in the Heide villages. Connection to Hamburg City
In approx. 25 minutes you can reach the city centre by car via the A7 (through the Elbtunnel) or via the A255 (via the Elbbrücken).
With the HVV bus 340 (stop in front of the door) you can quickly reach the Harburg S-Bahn station and from there the S3/31 (direction Pinneberg) takes you to Hamburg city centre in 13 minutes
17 km from the Finkenwerder pier, take the harbour ferry 62 (bike free) to Neumühlen and the Elbe beach, or on to the fish market and Landungsbrücken. From there you can explore Hamburg City and HafenCity on foot or by bike.
Local transport Heide
The HVV bus line 4244 (Buchholz - HH-Harburg), which connects most of the towns in the Rosengarten municipality, also runs right outside your front door. Bicycles are carried free of charge.
In addition to the HVV bus and train lines, 3 Heide shuttle and Regional Park shuttle bus lines are offered in the summer half-year, which will take you, including your bike, comfortably and even free of charge to almost any place in Heide.
The S-Bahn S3 takes you to Buxtehude and Stade, the regional train R30 to Lüneburg. The Heidesprinter R41 runs from Buchholz via Wörme in Büsenbachtal, Handeloh, Wintermoor, Schneverdingen to Soltau. Rosengarten and surroundings

The basis for the price calculation is our goal that you feel comfortable with us in every respect and that you don't have to miss anything in your "holiday at home". All prices are inclusive and include 7% VAT The basic rental price for the flat for 1-3 persons is 100,00 € (SO-DO) per day during the week and 120,00 € (FR-SA) per day at the weekend. The weekend price is also valid on public holidays and in the summer and autumn season. Weekend prices Ascension, Whitsun 140,00 per day, New Year's Eve/New Year 150,00 € per day. For each additional person up to 8 persons (older than 3 years) 25,00 € per person and day will be charged, for children under 3 years in a provided cot 5,00 €. Your holiday flat is located in Vahrendorf, directly on the southern outskirts of Hamburg. From your flat it is only 600 m to the Hamburg city area. The village is located on the Kiekeberg (127 m), the highest elevation in the Harburg Hills, from where you can look across the Elbe to Hamburg-Blankenese in good weather. You can quickly reach the city centre by public transport or by car. Our guests love the connection to the city by bike and harbour ferry.
Vahrendorf with its village character is a district of the municipality of Rosengarten, which also includes the neighbouring villages of Ehestorf, Alvesen, Sottorf, Sieversen, Leversen, Nenndorf, Tötensen, Iddensen, Klecken and Nenndorf.
Rose Garden Regional Park
The municipality of Rosengarten lies in the middle of the forest of the same name, which is an integral part of the Rosengarten Regional Park. The varied landscape here is characterised in particular by the hilly terminal moraine landscape of the Harburg and Black Mountains with steep slopes, hills from which you can enjoy a far-reaching view, and deep valleys.
But also the idyllic rivers Este, Luhe and Seeve, as well as the heath and moor landscapes make the Regional Park a unique local recreation area, the green lungs of Hamburg. A perfect network of well-developed and signposted tours for hiking, Nordic walking, cycling, mountain biking and horseback riding offer you many opportunities for an eventful active holiday.

Kiekeberg Open-Air Museum
The open-air museum Kiekeberg shows historic farmhouses with original furnishings, old tools, equipment and kitchen gardens, which give visitors a deep insight into the life of earlier generations in the countryside.
Schwarze Berge Game Park
Here you will find all native game species in a natural environment. Free-range pot-bellied pigs, an animal feeding area and the petting zoo will also delight your children!
High-ropes course
Practice goal orientation, reliability and predictability with personal ropes teams in the Kiekeberg high ropes course.
Sieversen Forest Swimming Pool
In the summer months you should definitely visit the idyllically situated, natural forest swimming pool in Sieversen. Here you will find a swimming pool, a baby pool, a dwarf meadow and a beach volleyball court.
Fischbeker Heide
Visit the extensive hilly heath landscape and the "Schafstall" nature conservation information centre. Get an impression of the nature conservation work being done in Hamburg at the glider airfield and how the former Bundeswehr tank training area is being turned into heathland.
Between Fischbeker Heide and the neighbouring village of Alvesen lie the archaeological hiking trail and the Moisburger Stein, the old border stone on the state border.

Old Country and Lüneburg Heath
Not more than 10 km away begins the Alte Land, the largest orchard in Europe, particularly attractive at tree blossom or harvest time. Also not far away is the Lüneburg Heath with its idyllic heath villages such as Undeloh with the Wilseder Berg. Egestorf with its almost 500-year-old St. Stephen's Church is also an attractive destination.
The North Sea and Baltic Sea can be reached within 1.5 hours!

Beautiful holiday flat
Modern, clean holiday flat. The equipment is top and extensive. We found the charge of 50 euros for early arrival negative. We were told to call 1 hour before, which we did. Since the apartment was not yet ready, we waited for a call from the landlord. 30 minutes before the agreed time, we received a call that we could come in in 10 minutes. We were not informed about additional costs from the terms and conditions. It was a pity that the landlord was not willing to give in. So our days off started annoyingly. Such information should be listed in other costs.

Wir freuen uns, dass unseren Gästen die Wohnung so gut gefallen hat. Die offizielle Check-in-Zeit ist 16:00. Gerne machen wir aber auch auf Wunsch unserer Gäste einen Early-Check-in möglich. Da dieser für uns mit Mehraufwand verbunden ist, berechnen wir hierfür EUR 50. Gerade in diesem Fall waren wir mit zwei zusätzlichen Reinigungskräften sehr bemüht, die Wohnung nach einer Abreise am Morgen bis mittgs wieder bezugsfertig zu machen. Schade, dass unser Einsatz von manchen Gästen nicht entsprechend honoriert wird. Die meisten Gäste schätzen aber unser Engagement, finden unser Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für unsere 5*****-Wohnung hervorragend und zahlen gerne für gebuchte Sonderleistungen.

Carefree holidays in the south of Hamburg
In the week from 10.05. to 17.05. we spent our holiday in the high-quality holiday flat in the south of Hamburg.
The description and the pictures did not promise too much, but gave a realistic impression of the flat. In short, there is simply nothing missing to enjoy a relaxed holiday.
Be it the fully equipped kitchen, the beautiful terrace with several seating options, the complete multi-media equipment or the underground parking space with lift connection. Everything has been thought of.
You don't really need a car to get to the centre of Hamburg. In view of the traffic in the city centre, you should do without one. By bus and train (or ferry from Finkenwerder), you can get to the city centre in about 60 minutes and to all relevant points within the city by S-Bahn.
If you want to spend a carefree holiday in a first-class flat outside the hustle and bustle of the big city, but still in a central location, this is the place for you.
Particularly worth mentioning is the very good service by the landlords, who also answered every question in detail in advance.

We love the south of Hamburg with its forest and heath and the many leisure activities. For many years, we have therefore lived very close to our holiday flat, only 7km away. Our two daughters grew up here and feel very much at home. Our grandchildren love the Kiekeberg open-air museum and the Schwarze Berge wildlife park in our neighbourhood very much.
