A week of relaxation

The Raspberry Cottage is exactly right for a totally relaxing vacation. Completely and comfortably furnished. I was there for a week when there was a lot of snow; sitting by the fireplace in the evening and looking out at the snowy landscape is pure relaxation. Super friendly landlords who will help you out of the thickest snow with the car if you get stuck. Next year again!!!

Absolutely Super!!!

We felt instantly at home in the raspberry cabin. Nothing was missing. Super clean. We spent Christmas and the New Year here - unique. We will definitely book with the Heitzig family again, or we have already booked. Heitzig family - thank you for everything! Our old Swiss Mountain Dog Bill also enjoyed it very much; he hopes to be able to join again next time.

Feeling good all around

Absolutely recommended!

Super beautiful, spacious cabin to relax. Everything was very tastefully, high-quality (!), modern and decorated in a rustic style. The kitchen equipment was also fantastic (various wine glasses, waffle maker, grater, fully automatic coffee machine, and so on). We lacked for nothing. Everything was completely clean and well-maintained, and the Heitzig family was very helpful and friendly. We felt right at home and had a perfect, cozy relaxation holiday.

Can't get better than this!!!!!

Arriving and the vacation begins!!!! A cabin that has been furnished with so much love for detail and where nothing is missing!!!! Everything is well thought out, very clean, the hosts are super nice, a dreamlike environment, and perfect for people traveling with their four-legged friends. The surroundings are simply breathtaking! They invite you to small and large hikes on well-marked paths. You will inevitably become a "repeat offender."

Beautiful short holiday in the raspberry cabin

Lovingly furnished cabin. Ideal for relaxing for a few days, enjoying time together, and exploring the numerous hiking trails in the immediate vicinity with the dog. After long hikes, the beautiful garden and terrace offer the opportunity to enjoy the last rays of sunshine, and then to wind down the day by the fireplace.

everything is fine

For a relaxing holiday, simply great; you can immediately reach the forest in all directions... you almost live in the woods! The little house itself is lovingly furnished and very cozy; upon our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of this house. There was no dust, dirt, or even a dog hair anywhere in the house. We are dog owners ourselves and were truly impressed by the cleanliness! There is enough wood for lovely fireplace evenings, etc. If anything is ever missing, the Heitzig family is immediately there to help. Mr. and Mrs. Heitzig with their three dogs are very nice and helpful! Highly recommended all around. We thank the Heitzig family for a lovely relaxing vacation in a clean cozy house. The little house is incredibly cozy and really very comfortably equipped. There is nothing missing. Especially as a dog owner, it’s not always easy to find a comfortable and truly beautiful vacation accommodation.

Perfect down to the smallest detail

We arrived and stepped into this beautiful cozy cabin and instantly felt great. It's lovingly furnished and modern down to the smallest detail. Nothing was missing. Our Sam also really liked it. A huge fenced garden where he could romp around. The location is very nice and quiet. So, anyone who wants to unwind is in the right place. : ) The hosts are very, very nice, so what more could you wish for? We will definitely come back...!!! : )

Pure relaxation

What a great cabin. There was nothing missing there. A fantastic setup, everything very modern and absolutely clean. The large fenced garden was a paradise for our Ronja. The beautiful terrace with the lovely garden furniture and the cozy loungers was a paradise for the lady and gentleman. We felt "very comfortable." The weather (thankfully, you booked that as well) was great too :-) A truly beautiful area that we explored a lot. We have recovered well and we would love to come back. There is simply nothing to complain about. It was nice to meet you and maybe see you soon.

Pure relaxation factor!

We visited the Raspberry Hut with our dog in March 2015. It was truly amazing. Great amenities, definitely nothing is missing. Super quiet location and great for walking. So anyone who wants to just relax for a few days is in the right place here. We will definitely come back again.

Dear Uli, dear Nicole, thank you very much for the wonderful weekend in the raspberry cabin. Arrive, switch off, feel good - that was our motto at your place on the last weekend of September. You thought of everything in the furnishing and design of the lovely holiday home. The beds were very cozy, and the view from the bed into the greenery was simply dreamy. The freshly brewed coffee on the terrace with a view over the 1000 mountains and in the evening the glass of wine in front of the beautiful fireplace, all of this contributed to our relaxation. Our dachshund Berta could play wonderfully outside while we relaxed. We would love to come back. We have never felt as at home in any other holiday home as we did with you. Thank you for that! An absolute dream!!

The raspberry cottage is an absolute dream. We (my wife, our two dogs, and I) were excited from the very first moment. The property is lovely and offers both humans and dogs a perfect playground to romp around and relax. With the fence all around, the owners don’t have to watch constantly. The furnishings were designed to ensure that nothing is missing. There is even a coffee machine, which we have never had before. Everything is very harmoniously coordinated and gives the hut a special charm, indeed a heart and soul. There are plenty of hiking trails directly from the house, so the car can happily stay put. For shopping, Brilon is a great option about 3 km away. There you can find everything you need. One place you should definitely visit is the very beautiful, serviced Hiebammenhütte, from which there are wonderful circular hiking trails. This is also quickly reached by car from Brilon, about 4 km away, and is located at the Hilbringse hiking parking lot. Now I almost forgot to mention that the Himberhütte has very friendly landlords; another greeting and many thanks for the wonderful vacation.

A holiday in the Raspberry Cottage is highly recommended. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired; you feel comfortable right away and can relax wonderfully. The landlords are also very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Self-catering is not a problem due to the proximity to Brilon and the very good facilities in the kitchen. The farm shop near Brilon is worth recommending.

Cooper in May 2014

A very special cabin where you immediately feel incredibly comfortable upon arrival!!! Everything here is of high quality and lovingly furnished!!! However, you are reliant on a car. Just popping out to get rolls from the baker is not so easy :-) However, by car, you can reach Brilon in less than 10 minutes.
Conclusion: We will definitely come back and thank you for a wonderful, although unfortunately far too short, weekend in your raspberry cabin!!! It was really great!!!

A dream....

Dear Heitzig Family,
We just had a little chat in the woods and now we're already back home... 5 days were way too short...! But we'll come back; we just have to figure out which beautiful little house of yours we will then move into. We stayed in the Raspberry Cabin, and there was nothing we missed. It was very nicely furnished, great dog pictures on the wall, and the bed was amazing... we’ve never slept so well anywhere else. Yesterday we were even able to sit on the terrace, and Sherry, our dog, really enjoyed it there since the garden is completely fenced in, allowing her to play without a leash without any problem. Beautiful hiking holiday

This recently renovated and cozy little house is ideal for a short or longer, quiet and romantic vacation, also suitable for dogs. The completely enclosed property is located on a slope and is accessible via a field path. There are slight drawbacks in the overall external impression because the outdoor area was not yet completed. However, since I was the first guest after the renovation and was out during the day, this did not matter to me. For me, cleanliness and the cozy fireplace are to be emphasized. I did not take advantage of the landlord's service offerings. However, since this is a mandatory field, I gave 50%.

I would be happy to return and can only recommend the offer!

Vicinity of the holiday home: Trotz nahegelegener Straße ruhig am Waldrand in kleiner Siedlung gelegen. Wander- bzw. Spaziergehroute von 3 km aufwärts direkt vom Haus aus möglich.

free time activities: Diverse Wanderrouten sind vom Haus aus bzw. in wenigen Autominuten zu erreichen. Ansonsten habe ich keine Freizeitmöglichkeiten in Anspruch genommen.
