The Holiday home

Summary:
Spacious living room with fireplace and well equipped kitchen, dishwasher. Utility room with washing machine, sink and small freezer, 1 double room with beds 90 cm, closet and access to a terrace, 1 double room with beds 90 cm and desk, 1 bathroom with shower, 2 sinks and toilet, outdoor shower.

The single-storey house with small Luberon view located in a lushly planted, elongated plot of 1200 m². Here it is green and blooming in every season: Wisteria in different colors, white roses, cherry laurel, fig trees, Micocoulier .... just to name a few. The former owner, an English landscape gardener, has divided the garden into different areas wellbeing, everyone will find his favorite place. For outdoor dining you will choose the covered terrace or below the height of summer, a stage, withdraw the circular stone table under the covered pergola. At right angles to the secluded by lush vegetation pool is (8 x 4 m) with ample space for sunbeds. The outdoor shower is surrounded by high bamboo, pure nature !! But that's not all! For the aperitif, a cup of tea or coffee is a small table in a roundabout to accommodate his siesta in the rosenumrankten romantic gazebo, "reserved" a little above the pool, and who loves romantically located.
The tour of the house is shorter because there are only commit about 100 m²! The entrance is on the living-dining room with fireplace (insert) and large, very well-equipped, open kitchen (ca 40 m²). From here you have access to the covered terrace and on to the garden, or to "arrière-cuisine" with second sink, washing machine and plenty of space for supplies and Co. Also from this economic area there is access to the garden or the pool area. Back in the living room is reached via a passage the spacious bathroom with toilet, and two bedrooms, one with dressing and access to the terrace with stone table. The rooms are lovely, comfortable and simply furnished, full earthenware floor makes maintenance easy. White walls, natural wood for wall cabinets and lattice windows, intimate lighting ..... ensure well-being in a vacation for two or four players. Welcome!

Location and surroundings of object

On a hill above the known primarily for its colorful weekly market town of Apt, this small paradise hidden within a residential area of ​​the town Gargas. Distance to the center of Apt is km away, Gargas is 2 km away. In both places you will find shops and restaurants. Hiking trails in all directions or the famous perched villages of the Luberon are within easy reach. Gargas, a small village in Luberon with 3000 inhabitants, is located about 5 km north-west of the small town Apt in 280 m height. Late 19th century flourished here trading in ocher. Gargas today is the last place in Europe where ocher is still mined. Interesting in this context are the "Mines d'ocres de Buoux", where you can visit 650 m of a total of 50 km underground shafts. Before the ocher quarries concerts and theater performances take place in summer. The great GR 6 crosses the region from east to west and runs from Oppedette about Gargas to Roussillon. Former consisting only of small hamlets there since about 1990 a village with bakery, post office, pharmacy, a small supermarket, a weekly market on Wednesday morning ... and the town hall.

Das hervorragend und liebevoll ausgestattete Haus mit dem herrlichen Pool und dem idyllischen Garten lädt mit seiner Lage bei Apt zu einem Traumurlaub ein. Die in der Umgebung vorhandenen Rad-und Wanderwege und die historischen Ortschaften mit ihren Märkten machen eine individuelle Gestaltung des Urlaubes leicht. Wir haben es sehr genossen, den Tag am Pool und Grill nach unseren ausgiebigen Touren ausklingen zu lassen.
Fazit: Superschön und gerne wieder

Wir haben mit unseren beiden Kindern zwei wunderbare Wochen in diesem tollen Ferienhaus im Herzen des Luberons verbringen dürfen. Neben der geschmackvollen und detailverliebten Einrichtung ließ das Haus keine Wünsche offen; es fehlte an nichts. Der Garten mit seinem großzügigen Pool ist ein Traum und bot viele erholsame Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Die ruhige Lage des Hauses ist gerade für Erholungssuchende zu empfehlen und ist dennoch zentral. Zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie die wunderschönen Dörfer des Luberons (u.a. Gordes, Bonnieux, Lacoste,...) sind nur wenige Autominuten entfernt. Dieses Haus ist uneingeschränkt für einen Traumurlaub zu empfehlen. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wiederkommen.

Es ist ein traumhaftes Ferienhaus mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Besonders schön ist der angelegte Garten mit dem großen Pool. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen, aber man ist relativ schnell im Ort, wo man gut einkaufen kann. Die Lage im Zentrum der Provence ist optimal.
Alles hat problemlos geklappt und wir kommen nächstes Jahr schon wieder. Ein Dank an den Vermieter.
