The house was rebuilt in 2003 on a 12,000 m² site. It consists of 2 units: the main house with 120 m² living space and the annex with 75 m² living space. Location and surroundings of object
The house is in a residential area just outside of the old Provencal village of Lacoste on the northern edge of the Luberon. For Lacoster Castle, once the headquarters of the Marquis de Sade is about 800 m. The castle is now owned by Pierre Cardin, who performs in the summer in the associated quarries a theater festival. Lacoste is on a hill with beautiful views of the neighboring villages in the heart of Provence. Peter Mayle has described in his stories, the places of the north Luberon intensive. Beautiful holiday home, best location on a huge property and perfect facilities.
Excellent destinations from here to explore the beautiful villages and the great markets.
Martin and Ulrike Spahn are excellent and very helpful hosts

Holidays in the most beautiful part of Provence
Everything is fine! The cottage is an excellent base to experience the most beautiful corner of Provence, perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. Everything is very well maintained. Pleasant that toilet and bathroom are separate and that the car can be parked directly at the house. Absolutely quiet surroundings a bit away from the village and the small road, from the terrace a beautiful view over the large, well-kept property and into the countryside. It's just a pity that the picturesque village of Lacoste with its imposing castle ruins no longer has a bakery. But the veranda of the Café de la France makes up for this and all the attractions in the area are easily and quickly accessible. Martin and Ulrike Spahn are friendly and helpful hosts. Highly recommendable. There were two of us there and we definitely want to come back.
Excellent platform for a gorgeous stay in Provence at its best, well equipped and tidy, calm and with an exceptional nice view into the big garden and the landscape. Car parking on the grounds. A shame that picturesque Lacoste has no more a boulanger to get a fresh baguette for breakfast, but we strongly recommend the sunny vernda of Café de la France. Ulrike and Martin Spahn are very welcoming and always having tips at hand. We were 2 persons, and we will come back anyway.

Very nice vacation apartment in the middle of Provence!
We have been with 4 people for the 5th time in this holiday apartment owned by Martin Spahn and his family. The holiday apartment is part of a large holiday house with a huge plot (12,000 sqm) and is very well and extensively equipped. From the beautiful covered terrace, you have a view of the Luberon during breakfast. The location is very quiet on the outskirts of Lacoste, but still conveniently located, so that we were able to go on numerous hikes directly from the house and also on various excursions in the surrounding area (markets, wine tastings, and to the Camargue). Additional literature is also available in the house for further inspiration. We certainly won't be the last time there and look forward to coming back!

A super super great vacation rental with a great, large property - lots of nature.
