Location and surroundings of object
Our beautiful thatched house is located directly on the idyllic "Selliner See", surrounded by a sunbathing lawn open to the south, which merges almost seamlessly into the magnificent nature of the "Mönchgut" peninsula. Already with us you will find various leisure facilities, such as: Lawn for sunbathing and barbecue area, also bicycles can be borrowed directly from us for a fee to explore the surrounding nature. In about 8 to 10 minutes by bike you can reach the famous south beach, one of the longest sandy beaches of Rügen. In approx. 600 m distance from our guesthouse you will find one of the two small train stations of the Baltic seaside resort Sellin, from where you can start your romantic excursion with the "Rasenden Roland" (the historical steam train of Rügen). Also within easy reach of the guesthouse is the historic Wilhelmsstraße, which will take you to the most famous building of this Baltic seaside resort, the Sellin pier. An excursion to the hunting lodge "Granitz" is recommended, almost a must. Regarding the accessibility, you better let us advise you (the mastering of the distance -by bicycle- is rather recommended to the sporty guests)!

A pension with heart
We can only recommend the pension Ari am See.the cordiality is ingenious and one is received familiarly.we still needed a short-term accommodation and even if only a single room was free, an extra bed was possible.the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and the 2 good souls of the house are there for the guests and conjure up for everyone who wants it, scrambled or fried eggs on each table.freshly prepared.it is a magical backdrop out to the front a little noisy,for which the pension but nothing can be done.The town of Sellin has to pay the visitor's tax but does not do anything or not much to divert the traffic and thus to keep the tourist traffic away from this beautiful place or to reduce it. All in all you have to love and praise this pension. We will definitely visit the pension Ari am See again and book it and relax and have a good breakfast and so on
