Wake up to a direct view of the Baltic Sea,
watch the ships on the Baltic Sea from the sofa,
enjoying life on the fine sandy beach and the beach centre from the balcony. This is not a dream, but our fantastic holiday flat in Scharbeutz.
The flat has 1 spacious living room with dining area, 3 bedrooms, 1 separate kitchen, 2 shower bathrooms, 1 balcony and a parking space directly at the house. WLAN, bicycle garage.
Washing machine and dryer are in the cellar and can be used by all holiday guests at Strandhaus Meetz for a fee.

The fine sandy Baltic Sea beach, the spa gardens and the Scharbeutz pedestrian zone are only 300m away. Here you will find restaurants, cafés, bakeries, shopping facilities, children's playgrounds, pharmacies, doctors, hairdressers ... Directly at the Scharbeutz pier, the new dune mile attracts renowned restaurants such as the well-known "Grande Beach Cafe", the "Herzberg Restaurant" or the extremely popular fish restaurant "Gosch" from Sylt.
There is a very good bus and train connection to neighbouring places.
Leisure activities: The beautiful hinterland (Holstein Switzerland) invites you to go hiking or cycling. A bicycle rental is located only 250m away. Various events take place in Scharbeutz and the surrounding area. The Eutin Festival is a special treat in the rose town of Eutin (18 km). The Ostseetherme with its huge sauna area, sauna bath and water slides invites you to relax and is only about 1 km away.
The 5 lake cruises in Ostholstein Switzerland are an unforgettable experience.
The Baltic Sea bathing trips from the pier to neighbouring coastal resorts with board catering are also recommended.
The Hansa amusement park (5 km away) is a great experience for children but also for young-at-heart adults and grandparents.
For all Indian and cowboy fans, the Karl May Festival in Bad Segeberg is a highlight.
The marzipan city of Lübeck with its old city centre worth seeing is only 25 km away and very easy to reach by car as well as by train.
There are many more leisure activities that you can enjoy during your holiday.

Wonderful vacation apartment with an immediate feel-good character
I spent the vacation with my whole family (6 people) in the vacation apartment "Meerblick". The vacation apartment left nothing to be desired. From the amenities to the cleanliness to the very tasteful and high-quality furnishings. We all felt comfortable from the first moment. The view of the sea, from almost every room, was the icing on the cake of this stay. We would love to come back.

In the middle of it instead of just being there!
Great flat in a super location right in the centre!
The beach and the flat are just a few steps away (great when the kids get their feet wet in the sea or have to go to the toilet). The flat is quiet thanks to good windows, although there is a lot going on outside. Good beds, blinds provide good darkness, which both parents and children need in our house.
As we were there outside the holiday season (end of February), very good value for money.
One point deduction for the furnishings, as bed linen is only provided at a high price, or you have to bring it yourself.

Restful vacation
We all really liked the apartment. Right in the middle of everything, but still you can enjoy the sea view from the balcony in peace. The view is truly fantastic, and the furnishings are tasteful.

Simply fantastic!
We were just with 4 adults and 2 children for 2 weeks in the apartment "Meeresblick" and really enjoyed our time. The location, the amenities of the apartment, and the nice contact with the Meetz family made it a wonderful time. Watching the sea from the bed was a dream. At times, we spent several hours on the balcony "people-watching"! The apartment is equipped in a modern maritime style with a lot of attention to detail. The photos posted here are 100% true to reality.
Regards from Cologne, we'll gladly come back!
