Great holiday home with lake view

Mr. and Mrs. Külzer are really very nice, helpful hosts, with good local knowledge and great insider tips for the region.
The house is very well furnished, in a quiet location and has a great terrace with a fantastic view of Lake Schwerin, where you can enjoy the sunset while grilling.
We can highly recommend this vacation home!

Relaxing holiday in a very beautiful location

The house is very well equipped and the location is perfect. Schwerin is just a stone's throw away and the coast is not far either. The bike path is right at the doorstep. The view from the terrace or even from the sofa is great. You can enjoy fantastic sunsets. The landlord is very nice and helpful, and we were welcomed with flowers and jam. A small tip, don't forget mosquito repellent. But inside the house, you're safe thanks to the fly screens. We spent two wonderful weeks there.

Great holiday home with magnificent lake view

We stayed in this holiday home with 5 people (4 adults, 1 child). It had a great layout, you had retreat possibilities and - what was important to us - 2 bathrooms with shower. Everything you need for a holiday is there. We found everything as described.
The view of Lake Schwerin was magnificent - with great sunset moods
A small bathing area is within a few minutes walking distance
Great surroundings - with the bike (which was even delivered to the house - bike rental Lübstorf) you can explore the Schwerin outer lake and inner lake very well. Schwerin with its castle is a must-see
Very nice landlords who also had one or two pieces of advice

Self-made jam made breakfast perfect, of course we enjoyed fresh eggs from happy chickens.

The landlords are very nice, always willing to help and could assist here and there.
We would go back there anytime.
Schwerin is just a stone's throw away and a place for swimming is also not far from the house.

Urlaubsreise

The location, the house, the surroundings, as well as the landlord are highly recommended. It is very quiet, and from the terrace, you have a very nice view of the lake. We recovered very well and were able to do very nice bike tours. We can only recommend the region and the house to everyone.

Family-friendly holiday home on Lake Schwerin

Great location overlooking Lake Schwerin, bathing area just 2 minutes from the house. Direct connection to the bicycle path. Bicycles and car can be parked safely at the house. The house is spacious. Two spacious bathrooms available. Very quiet at the end of a dead-end street. Landlord lives next door and is very helpful. Well suited, for example, for a stay of multiple generations in the house, as there is a bathroom with toilet on each floor. Ideal for cycling and canoeing. To welcome us, there were flowers from the garden on the dining table and delicious homemade jam.

A great holiday home with a superb view of the lake in a quiet location. Very nice garden plot with a fully equipped terrace (sun lounger, seating area, parasol). Excellent connection to the cycling path, allowing for great exploration around Lake Schwerin.

Very nice vacation!

We had a beautiful and relaxed time as a family with the grandparents. The Külzer family is very friendly and accommodating! The house is very spacious and well laid out, offering retreat options for everyone. Both bathrooms are in top condition. Schwerin offers some sights, and the surroundings are great. We would come back again.

Pentecost holiday with a splendid lake view.

We (5 adults) spent our annual cycling holiday near Schwerin to explore the beautiful lakes. The starting point was the holiday home of the Külzer family. We were totally impressed by this accommodation. The friendly hosts welcomed us with flowers and homemade jam. They were always there to help us. The view from the terrace and balcony was fantastic, and the sunset was unique. The whole house was spotless, all rooms spacious and cozy. We slept well in the beds. The kitchen equipment left nothing to be desired. The beautifully furnished terrace invited us to barbecue. An extra request was generously granted to us. We can only thank you once again and highly recommend the accommodation.

Dream vacation, dream apartment, and I would gladly return anytime.

We were already the 2nd time guests at the Külzer family, us (55 and 61) and my parents (75 and 77). We are absolutely thrilled by the accommodation and the landlords, who live on the same property. The house is bright, beautifully furnished and spans two floors. The lower floor is fully accessible for people with limited mobility. The kitchen is modernly equipped, and both times a glass of homemade jam awaited us as a welcome gift. There is a large terrace for lying down, sitting, and barbecuing with a magnificent view of Lake Schwerin. Even from the wide, comfortable leather couch in the living area, you have this fantastic view. On the balcony on the upper floor, you can romantically watch the sunset. In short, the holiday home offers everything you could imagine for a beautiful, self-determined vacation. Mrs. and Mr. Külzer are very friendly and always make sure that their holidaymakers are well. The four of us can wholeheartedly and with a clear conscience recommend a holiday with the Külzers. Thank you very much dear Külzer family! We would love to come back.

A great week of vacation

We had a great vacation week with the Külzer family in May 2017. The location of the house and the amenities are excellent! Thanks to the unobstructed view, you can enjoy beautiful sunsets from the terrace. We were lucky to have this every evening due to the good weather. The location of the house is absolutely quiet, and it's just a stone's throw to Schwerin by car. Mr. and Mrs. Külzer are extremely nice and helpful. We will definitely come back!

In a completely positive sense: actually not a vacation home at all!

The Külzer couple is extremely active and eager to make their guests' stay in the excellent holiday home as pleasant as possible in every way.

The house itself is not a conventional rickety holiday home, as one often finds in many holiday areas. In fact, this seems to be the potential retirement home for the landlords themselves: the driveway and basement are wheelchair accessible, all doors are wide enough for wheelchair passage; even the bathroom is equipped with a roll-in shower. The only potential drawback here: due to a fixed shower wall (otherwise it is a corner shower without a door), it may be challenging for a wheelchair user with an assistant, e.g., to access the shower. Getting help with showering in the shower wheelchair can be a bit tight. But this is criticism at a very high level. A spacious bedroom with a double bed adjoins directly to this bathroom. The living room and the two bathrooms are equipped with underfloor heating. A partially winding wooden staircase leads to the upper floor. Here, in addition to the second mentioned bathroom, there are two more bedrooms. The view of the lake is wonderful. The entire house is obviously equipped to store heat and energy; the doors close almost hermetically and the warmth remains in the rooms despite the cool temperatures in autumn.

It might sound like the house is exclusively an accessible holiday home (at least on the ground floor). However, we visited with three adults and a teenager with a hoverboard, and it was a wonderful short vacation! By the way: Mrs. Külzer's homemade cherry jam is a poem! In short: this vacation home is an absolute recommendation for both handicapped and non-disabled vacationers!!!
