Relaxing turn of the year in the beautiful, comfortable holiday home.

The tranquility that we urgently needed after busy weeks, we found in the stylish, cozy and excellently equipped house just behind the dunes. Everyone slept very well thanks to comfortable box spring beds, the kitchen was well equipped with an induction cooker, dishwasher and a huge refrigerator with freezer compartments. Everything tasted even better on tasteful dishes. Beautiful rattan lamps and decorative objects created a cozy atmosphere and even a small Christmas tree with fairy lights welcomed us immediately after the Christmas days in the living room. We felt very comfortable with the landlady Mrs. van Asten, with whom we had a very good and friendly contact. Once again, a heartfelt thank you... we would love to come back!

Very beautiful accommodation

We felt very comfortable with our dogs. The well-kept house is equipped with everything you need. The property is surrounded by vegetation, so you can be completely private here. Parking directly in front of the house makes loading and unloading easier. Very friendly contact with the landlady. We will be happy to come back.

Perfect holiday home

Beautiful house. Superb layout. Everything you need is there. Very clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished and decorated. Outside framed with high dense hedge with additional fence at the bottom. Plenty of space to play and relax.

A beautiful house, lovingly furnished and equipped.

Absolutely quiet location without through traffic. Unfortunately the weather was not good enough to enjoy the beautiful garden. The contract with the landlady was flawless.

Beautiful house and a nice, uncomplicated landlady.

We spent a beautiful and relaxing week with our cat in the holiday home.

House:

On arrival, we found that the house looks even better than in the photos. Everything is available and very modern.

Inside the house, there are some games like Mikado, chess, or even a Nintendo 64. In the garden shed, there is a bocce game to play.

The garden is truly huge, encircles the entire house, and is not visible from outside. Perfect for children and dogs. A sunshade is also available for the hot days, and there is always a possibility to sit in the shade as there is a table both in the front and back. The garden gate also seems to be new, which is certainly interesting for dog owners.

Location:

The house is located in a quiet side street where you can hardly hear anything and where no unfamiliar car strays. Very good for relaxing.

There are plenty of parking possibilities in the street as well. The beach can be reached within 5 minutes at a normal pace, really great. Restaurants on the beach are also right there. For morning bread and in case you forgot to buy something (a supermarket is a 3-minute drive away and another is approximately 7 minutes away), there is a small store next to the house (2 minutes on foot) that you should definitely check out. Unfortunately, it only opens until around 1 pm. Landlord:

Super nice, easily reachable if there are any issues, and uncomplicated handling.

Other:

The bikes should be checked as the brakes etc. are not in perfect condition. For a short trip and considering it's not self-evident that bikes are available, it's really okay. :)

Conclusion:

We had a lovely week despite the rain. My recommendation is a trip on the ferry to Vlissingen and a visit to the Iguana Reptile Rescue Center there.

We will definitely come back!

Great family-friendly accommodation

The house is located in a beautiful, quiet bungalow park and is equipped with everything you need. The surroundings - playground, very little traffic, close to the beach, garden - are ideal for children and those seeking relaxation. In the immediate vicinity, you can also make many beautiful excursions and make your holiday very varied.

We (3 adults, 2 children, 2 dogs) enjoyed our long weekend very much and will definitely come back. Due to the temperatures, we did not use the garden. However, dog owners may find it helpful to know that the property is not completely fenced.

Winter

We spent a few days in Breskens and felt very comfortable in the house owned by the Van Asten family. It is clean and cozily furnished. The box spring beds are great, and you don't have to miss German television! The garden is nice and spacious. Surely fantastic in the summer! We will definitely come back again!

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus

We were able to spend 1 week at the vacation house Schoneveld 24.
The house is lovingly and beautifully furnished. Nothing was missing.
You can reach the kiosk in 3 minutes on foot, where fresh bread rolls are offered every morning. In about 15 minutes on foot, you are at the sea. The town of Breskens and supermarkets can be reached in a maximum of 10 minutes by car.
We drove home completely satisfied and will definitely come back. Many thanks to the van Asten family for providing us with their house for a week.

fantastic place in Breskens

Stayed with the family for 1 week. It exceeded our expectations. The attic is a great place for the kids to play. The house has a huge garden, and you can use all the facilities. If you want to swim, you can buy a 10-visit pass at the reception. This pass can be used by your whole family (22.5 euros). The sea is nearby. Enjoyed it immensely. Looking forward to next year.

Great house!

Very well-appointed house. Everything designed with a lot of love. The beds are excellent. Stayed with 2 small dogs. Property has a hedge, rabbit fence all around, and maybe a small gate would have made it even more relaxing. Otherwise, everything was really great. Would love to come back.

Sunny holiday time

The house was exactly as described. We had enough space for 6 adults in the house. The kitchen is equipped quite well. The large garden is limited by greenery. For holidaymakers with a dog, a gate is missing at the entrance area of the property. In the garden house, there is a trolley with sand toys and 3 different grills available. In the park, there is a restaurant and a small shop for shopping possibilities. The playgrounds on the property offer play opportunities for different age groups and are very nicely designed and clean. After about a 10-minute walk, you are already at the beach. We can gladly recommend the holiday home.

We had a very nice week in Breskens at House Schoenveld 24. The house offers a lot of space. The large and well-maintained garden, which surrounds the whole house, is really great. Everything is within walking or cycling distance. A lot is offered for families with children in the nearby area. Two swimming pools (small but nice), the great renovated playgrounds in the Schoeneveld Park. DeAfslag for not so nice days.

Very beautiful Christmas holiday.

We spent last year in the Christmas week at the van Asten family's house and were completely satisfied. The house is well equipped and corresponds to the description. The absolutely clean and spacious beach can be reached in 5 minutes from the house. The local ship traffic is also very impressive; with the help of a corresponding app, you can track which ship it is. Of the nearby towns, Sluis is especially recommended. There you can stroll, stop for a meal, or simply enjoy. Also worth mentioning is the uncomplicated contact with the host family. We think we will come back. Small addition to my review: Wi-Fi worked perfectly! The photos of the house are apparently not quite up-to-date anymore, the TVs upstairs and in the living room are now flat-screen TVs. Sufficient German channels available.

Beautiful short break on the coast!

The location of the house is very good. The accommodation is well-equipped. Very positive is that there is really sufficient crockery and cutlery available. (We have often experienced that the dishes had to be washed after every meal). The heating takes some getting used to and is sometimes a bit loud. It was also a shame that the shed in the garden is not lockable. We had parked our bicycles there and would have liked to lock them. Price-performance ratio is definitely top-notch. Contact with the landlord beforehand was very good.
