The name of the holiday home suggests it: The house is situated in a rural - quiet location at the end of a small feeder road without through traffic, a footpath leads from the house directly to the water, the "Puddeminer Wiek" (Bodden). Zudar is a peninsula belonging to Rügen with many natural coastal and beach sections. On Zudar you will find small villages with manor houses, holiday homes and holiday flats.

Cancellation terms:
If the tenant cancels the contract, the following cancellation fees apply, but at least €50: from signing the contract up to 43 days before the start of the rental period, 25% of the rental price; from the 43rd day, 50% of the rental price; from the 27th day and for no-shows or cancellations after the start of the rental, 80% of the rental price, unless the tenant demonstrates that no damage occurred or the damage was significantly lower than the set fees. In the case of government travel restrictions, the tenant pays only a reduced cancellation fee of 10% of the rental price (at least €50), provided they were aware of the risk beforehand. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

Peace, nature, and highlight: the sauna
The big highlight was, of course, the sauna in the evenings after the children were in bed because the sea was still too cold for swimming. For our now 2 children, digging on the beach was ideal, even if it is narrower than on the north coast. But, it's empty. And searching for stones and building stone towers, it's a shame that you can't post a picture here... The garden of the house is large, but you have to watch out for the pond because of the children. Ponies stand right by the fence, that was an absolute hit for the little ones. The kitchen and other rooms have just been renovated and are also clean and tidy. The heating is a bit difficult to adjust because of the electricity. And for our Anna, there is the "big sandbox" there ;-) We enjoyed everything very much, especially the peace and quiet. We will come back! Thanks to the landlord, the "wild Wildauer".

Relaxing stay at the Baltic Sea
My wife and I had never been to Rügen before and could only rely on the data and photos found on the web. The quiet location described on the website on the south coast of Rügen, with its beautiful natural beaches, long cycling paths, and vast forest and meadow fields, had caught our attention, so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed, the accommodation was not far from the sea and ideal for long bike rides. The weather was still quite rough at that time, but what else can you expect in March. Since we are enthusiastic hikers anyway, we didn't mind, and there was so much to see after all!
But we also loved the accommodation, very cozy, peacefully located, and lovingly furnished. Another visit to the island is already planned. The accommodation will remain the same, but this time in the summer - because our children will be coming and then it will also be a beach holiday for us :)
