"Why wander far and wide, see the good things are so near".... These words of our great poet sum it up: as soon as you reach the idyllic Eifel village of Mülheim near Blankenheim, the local recreation begins. Because there, just before you leave the village in the direction of Blankenheim, you will find our cosy and comfortable 120 m² holiday home. Here you will find, depending on your needs, either plenty of peace and quiet or a solid base camp for nature adventures and holiday pleasures of the most varied kind. A large, high-ceilinged living room with an open fireplace, adjoining dining area and adjacent kitchen invites you to close all time windows and let the here and now take effect on you with a view of meadows, slopes and diverse vegetation and let your soul dangle. Should all this cause too much tiredness, perhaps also due to the pure and clear Eifel air that one encounters here at 500 metres above sea level, 3 cosy bedrooms with up to 9 sleeping places are available. For activities, the more than 3000 m² large meadow property behind the house with idyllic stream can be used in many ways: (sunbathing, playing, dreaming, romping, and, and, ..... ) . A cosy new Finnish sauna is also available to recharge your batteries in the colder months of the year or to relax after a long walk through the snow-covered Eifel landscape.

Cancellation terms:

For cancellations which are made less than 4 days before check-in, you will be refunded 50% of the booking amount minus the price for the first night and the cancellation fee.

Very beautiful house
You don't need to write much about it.
The house is simply amazing, the garden is great.
We had wonderful days, despite the not-so-nice weather.
Nothing is missing!!!
Very, very nice contact and everything was just smooth.
We will definitely come back!!!

Vacation with dog in the Eifel
We spent 9 days with our dog in the wonderful holiday home of the Petruschinski family in Mülheim for hiking.
The house had everything you need, including a very nice modern bathroom with a large bathtub.
Unfortunately, the sauna, which we were really looking forward to, was broken.
The garden was huge. Unfortunately, we couldn't use it properly for our dog, as the dog with a strong hunting instinct couldn't roam freely because goats and sheep were grazing on the right and left. Also, there was barbed wire and various other injury-causing objects in the bushes.
Aside from this drawback, we were still able to enjoy the Eifel and its surroundings very much.

Herzlichen Dank für Ihre Bewertung und Ihre Kommentare. Und schön, dass es Ihnen gefallen hat. Dass der Saunaofen ausgerechnet unmittelbar vor Ihrem Aufenthalt das Zeitliche gesegnet hat, bedauern wir natürlich sehr. Leider ließ sich auf die Schnelle kein Ersatz beschaffen und vor allem ließ sich so schnell niemand finden, der den neuen Ofen fachgerecht anschließt. Das ist aber inzwischen geschehen. Ebenso wurde der Stacheldraht und alles weitere, was bei den letzten Reparaturarbeiten auf dem Grundstück liegen geblieben ist, jetzt umgehend entfernt. Auf das gelegentliche Grasen der Schafe und Ziegen auf dem Nachbargrundstück haben wir nur wenig Einfluß. Die zahlreichen Hunde, die in den letzten 10 Jahren auf dem Grundstück zu Gast waren, hatten allerdings nur in den seltensten Fällen Interesse an den Nachbartieren. Ganz im Gegensatz zu den vielen Kindern, die da waren und für die, die Tiere in der Umgebung eher ein Highlight waren. Wir versuchen stets unser Bestes zu geben, um unseren Gästen einen erholsamen und vergnügsamen Urlaub zu ermöglichen. In den allermeisten Fällen gelingt das ! Pure relaxation
The garden alone allows one to switch off; you don't even want to go back inside. The house itself has everything you need, the high ceilings are a dream. Unfortunately, we could only admire the fireplace at these temperatures. But in winter, it will surely be the icing on the cake. We are already planning a return.

We have already spent our Christmas days for the second time in the holiday home Blankenheim. A beautiful cozy house with everything one could wish for. A lovely large garden and wonderful tranquility all around. Cleanliness is highly valued. Everything is top-notch!

Very nice accommodation!
We spent a very nice extended weekend in the accommodation. The communication in advance was extremely friendly and we felt comfortable in the house from the beginning. The house is very well equipped, offers plenty of space, and with sauna and garden, it provides a great opportunity to relax. There are hiking opportunities directly from the house. Thank you for having us here, we would love to come back :)
