Our romantic and lovingly furnished holiday home is located on the edge of the family-friendly and guarded Regenbogenpark, where your children can play safely and without worries. In 2021, we renovated our holiday home and, among other things, completely fitted the ground floor with a new floor. Of course, the beautiful surroundings of our house are also important to do your soul good. Not only in summer can you relax here on the beautiful, fine sandy beach; even in the colder seasons, walks on the adjacent forest trails, a visit to the neighboring riding stable, or walks on the beach—past the old stately villas of Boltenhagen—offer relaxing impressions. The viewing platform along the beach, with benches and wheelchair-accessible ramps, offers a beautiful view over the beach and sea, all the way to the cliffs or the nature reserve in front of the marina.
The garden and the generously extended terrace of our holiday home Friedchen face the sunny side; here you can relax in a deck chair, let your soul unwind with a good book from our small "library" or enjoy a delicious ice cream.
The house is bright and sunny, cozy. and tastefully furnished, with an emphasis on functionality. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped. There is a 4-burner ceramic hob with oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, and electric small appliances available. For children, a high chair, crib, and handcart are available free of charge. In the second bedroom, a 140 cm wide double bed invites you to share the secrets and experiences of the day.
Wellness oasis o. Breakfast rolls – all equally within walking distance next door. During a morning walk on the beach or across meadows, along the forest, the rolls are practically on your way.
1 car parking space is available free of charge at the house for our holiday guests, each additional car or trailer is subject to a fee according to the parking facility regulations; this fee is to be paid at the park reception (our house management service will gladly handle the registration for you in your name).

Location and surroundings of object
The Baltic Sea resort Boltenhagen is one of the oldest, most traditional Baltic Sea resorts amidst a species-rich and natural landscape. The town stretches for over 4 km along the fine Baltic Sea beach, the promenades are protected by a car-free coastal protection forest strip, which extends up to the new harbor. Families can enjoy carefree relaxation on the wide, well-kept beach with its gradually deepening water. The adjacent, impressive steep coast entices visitors to take walks and make discoveries, but also to dream and linger. The town of Boltenhagen itself is admired for its typical spa architecture. Cafés, restaurants, and small shops invite you to stroll, while the spa park offers a varied program for all age groups. You can also find larger shops for self-caterers on the outskirts of the town, but in the town itself you will also find everything you need, from a small supermarket to high-quality branded goods. If you prefer nature, you will find wonderful peace and relaxation on the various cycling and hiking trails, such as those in the adjacent nature reserve.
Just leave your car behind for once. In just a few minutes’ walk from the house, you can reach the center of Boltenhagen, where numerous cafés and restaurants as well as lovely shops make strolling a pleasure. The marina ‘Weiße Wieck’, diving school, sailing school, football school, riding facility, Swin Golf, mini golf, bicycle rental, a surfing school (Surf Knopf) are located just a few kilometers east in Gramkow at the Wohlenberger Wiek, and much more ensure there is never any boredom. The spa administration also attracts young and old with a great events program, changing craft and art markets, music events, fitness activities on the beach and guided hikes, or the opportunity to immerse yourself impressively in the history of Boltenhagen. By bicycle you can explore the mill of Klütz, Bothmer Castle, manor houses and brick churches, or the wonderful hinterland; the yacht and fishing harbor 'Weiße Wieck' is also a maritime attraction. Wismar can also be reached by bicycle on beautiful paths.
Boltenhagen has two districts, Tarnewitz, which can also be reached on foot through the forest or along the beach. In Tarnewitz is the rustic Dutch pub "Zum Klausner", the so-called `living room of Boltenhagen`. Here people gather to chat comfortably, eat small snacks, or try one of the many types of beer. The opportunity to listen to nice live music, which on some evenings of the week brings `life to the place` with old and new hits, can be found, among other places, in the country house of the Regenbogencamp. In the second district, `Redewisch`, you reach the steep coast, which is also within walking distance. A nice farmers’ market with plenty of space to browse, or a bit further up towards and along the steep coast, the swingolf course for everyone. In summer, you’ll find a charming café there with a wide variety of homemade coffee and cakes. Here you can even watch the master baker as he makes his delicious cakes. If you are on foot, you can take the way back along the top of the steep coast down to the beginning of the village, with a wonderful view over the sea and the fields. If you get hungry again, there is the opportunity right at the foot of the steep coast to enjoy freshly smoked or fried fish every day at Dunkelmann’s snack bar.

Cancellation terms:
If the tenant does not take possession of the vacation home at the agreed-upon time, they must immediately inform the landlord. The landlord will make an effort to find another tenant. The costs associated with the search will be borne by the original tenant; at a minimum, a cancellation fee of €80.00 will be due, even if a replacement tenant is found. The tenant owes the landlord the following amounts upon announcing the non-commencement of the vacation: - 30% of the rental price if announcement is made seven weeks before the start of the trip, - 50% of the rental price if announcement is made four weeks before the start of the trip, - the full rental price if announcement is made two weeks before the start of the trip.

During the off-season periods: `Cozy fireplace time`, `Time for two`, and `Special offer weeks`, the price applies for 2 people. For each additional person, 10 € per person per day will be charged.

Beautiful Days in Boltenhagen
We (3 friends) had very nice days in the holiday home 'Friedchen'. The house is cozily furnished and very clean, nothing is missing. We would be happy to come back. The contact with the landlord and the housekeeper was also very pleasant and uncomplicated.

We come again
We were here in the summer holidays of 2022. On the last evening our daughter said: "It's a pity we're going home again tomorrow". This was the mood of all of us.
The holiday flat leaves nothing to be desired and gives a view from the wooden terrace into the small garden. The beach is close enough to be easily reached on foot with the available handcart.
There you can walk far into the sea and the sand is fine and invites you to play.
We will be back next summer holidays.

Highly recommended for relaxation and unwinding.
Desperately in need of recovery, I was able to recharge my batteries for a week with my dog. Not only did my dog Frieda enjoy herself by playing on the beach, taking long walks on the adjacent forest paths, and sleeping in her bed right by the warm stove, but I also finally found peace and relaxation. I had plenty to read from the great selection of books in the house and I made myself cozy with tea or a glass of wine by the crackling fireplace in the evening. The house is very clean and well-equipped, nothing was missing. The service is friendly and dedicated to the well-being of guests. The town is quiet at this time of year, yet I was able to do all my shopping on foot and my car also had a break. I particularly enjoyed the small cozy restaurant 'Zum Klabautermann' for dinner. Frieda was also welcome there. I'll be back before the alarm bells ring because Frieda and I have fallen in love with our holiday home Friedchen. B. Weckermann.

super relaxing - all thumbs up!
We (a young family with a 1-year-old son) spontaneously stayed at Friedchen for 5 days
The house is in a great location! A well-stocked Edeka is right on the corner, just out of the Rainbow Camp. Cross the road and you're right on the middle and beach promenade and you're right on the white beach. Here you can either walk left down to the jetty and further to the cliffs or right down to the harbour
In the whole 5 days we did not move the car one metre because everything is within walking distance
The house is perfectly equipped with high chair, travel cot, games and beach toys, sand shell, handcart, and, and, and.... for children; but also in the kitchen you don't have to do without anything or bring your own: Blender, hand mixer, toaster, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and much more
I have never been in a holiday home with such extensive equipment
All in all, it was a great holiday! We will definitely come back again! :-)

Back in 1995 we discovered the beautiful Baltic Sea resort of Boltenhagen, which we immediately fell head over heels in love with. That's how we came up with our plan to look for a second, small home here. We decided to move our dream from Sweden to Germany, to an equally beautiful rural setting, only much closer from the driving distance, and built our cosy holiday home Friedchen. We were lucky and found a nice couple to cover for us in our absence, to look after our holiday home Friedchen and our guests lovingly and prudently, and to always have an open ear and eye for guests and the house. Every year we spend as much time as possible in our 'oasis of relaxation' and let our souls dangle. But it is just as important to us that our guests also have a good rest, feel comfortable and at home. Last year we completely renewed and renovated the entire ground floor. Cleanliness and cosiness are especially important to us.
