Our romantic and lovingly furnished holiday home is located on the edge of the family-friendly and guarded Rainbow Park, where your children can play safely and carefree. In 2021 we have renovated our holiday home, among other things, the ground floor was completely equipped with a new floor. Of course, the beautiful surroundings of our house are also important for the soul
Not only in summer can you relax on the beautiful, fine sandy beach, but also in the colder seasons, walks on the adjacent forest paths, a visit to the forest park or a walk in the woods offer a lot of possibilities. The neighbouring forest hiking trails, a visit to the neighbouring horse farm or walks on the beach offer a lot of fun. A visit to the neighbouring equestrian farm or walks along the beach past the old stately villas of Boltenhagen offer relaxing impressions. The newly built observation deck, which is still under construction in 2021, along the beach, with benches and handicapped accessible stairs, offers a beautiful view over the beach and the sea, all the way to the steep coast or the nature reserve in front of the marina
The garden and terrace of our holiday home Friedchen are on the sunny side, where you can relax in a deck chair, read a nice book from our small "library" or enjoy a delicious ice cream
The house is sunny, bright, cosy and tastefully furnished, with emphasis on functionality. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped. There is a 4-plate ceramic hob with oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and small electrical appliances. A high chair, cot, baby bath and trolley are available free of charge for children. In the 2nd bedroom, a 140 cm wide double bed invites you to tell the secrets and experiences of the day
Wellness oasis or breakfast rolls - all right next door. During a morning walk on the beach or across meadows, along the forest, the bread rolls are practically on the way.
1 car parking space is available for our holidaymakers free of charge at the house, each additional car or trailer is subject to a fee according to the regulations of the parking facility, this fee is to be paid at the reception of the park (our house care service will gladly take over the registration for you in your name).

Location and surroundings of object
The Baltic seaside resort of Boltenhagen is one of the oldest, traditional Baltic seaside resorts in the middle of a natural landscape rich in species. The town stretches over 4 km along the fine Baltic Sea beach, the promenades are protected by a car-free coastal protection forest strip that extends to the new harbour. The wide, well-kept beach with its only gradually deepening water offers families carefree relaxation. The adjacent, imposing cliffs entice visitors to go for walks and discoveries, but also to dream and linger. The town of Boltenhagen itself is admired for its typical seaside resort architecture. Cafes, restaurants and small shops invite you to stroll around, while the spa park offers a varied programme for all ages. Larger shops for self-catering can also be found on the outskirts of the village, but in the village itself there is also everything you need, from a small supermarket to sophisticated brand-name articles. If you prefer nature, you will find wonderful peace and relaxation on the many cycling and hiking paths, such as those in the adjacent nature reserve
Just leave your car at home for once. The centre of Boltenhagen is only a few minutes' walk from the house, where numerous cafés and restaurants as well as beautiful shops make strolling a pleasure. The marina 'Weisse Wieck', diving school, sailing school, surfing school, football school, riding school, swin golf, mini-golf, bicycle rental and much more will not let you get bored.
The spa administration also attracts young and old with a great programme of events, changing craft and art markets, music events, fitness offers on the beach and guided walking tours or the opportunity to immerse yourself in Boltenhagen's history in an impressive way
By bike you can explore the mill of Klütz, Bothmer Castle, manor houses and brick churches or the wonderful hinterland, also the yacht and fishing harbour 'Weiße Wieck' is a maritime attraction
Boltenhagen has two districts, Tarnewitz, also within walking distance through the forest or along the beach. In Tarnewitz you will find the quaint Dutch pub "Zum Klausner", the so-called 'living room of Boltenhagen'. Here you can find a cosy place to chat, eat snacks, try one of the many types of beer or listen to the live music, which on some evenings of the week brings some 'swing' to the place with old and new hits
In the second district, "Redewisch", you can reach the steep coast, also within walking distance. There is a nice farmer's market with plenty of space to browse, or a little further up towards and on the steep coast the swing golf course for everyone. In summer, you'll find a cute café there with a wide variety of homemade coffee and cakes. Here you can even watch the master baker baking his wonderful cakes. If you are on foot, you can walk back along the top of the cliff to the beginning of the village, with a wonderful view over the sea and the fields. If you get hungry again, you can enjoy fresh smoked or fried fish every day at Dunkelmann's snack bar right at the foot of the cliff.

- Our friendly caretaker couple will welcome you personally on arrival and introduce you to the Friedchen holiday home and will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the house, the surroundings or whatever else is on your mind.
-Spa taxes are charged according to the statutes and on behalf of the municipality.
- For a fee, children can make use of the children's entertainment offered by the Regenbogenpark.
- WLAN - the WLAN is subject to a charge.

We come again
We were here in the summer holidays of 2022. On the last evening our daughter said: "It's a pity we're going home again tomorrow". This was the mood of all of us.
The holiday flat leaves nothing to be desired and gives a view from the wooden terrace into the small garden. The beach is close enough to be easily reached on foot with the available handcart.
There you can walk far into the sea and the sand is fine and invites you to play.
We will be back next summer holidays.

Sehr zu empfehlen um sich zu erholen
Dringend erholungsbedürftig habe ich mit meinem Hund für eine Woche Kraft tanken können.
Nicht nur meine Hündin Frieda kam auf ihre Kosten durch herumtollen am Strand, lange Spaziergänge auf den direkt angrenzenden Wegen des Waldgebietes und ausschlafen auf ihrem Kissen, direkt am warmen Ofen. Auch ich fand endlich wieder Ruhe und Entspannung, hatte genug zu lesen in der tollen Auswahl von Büchern im Haus gefunden und habe es mir mit Tee oder einem Glas Wein am Abend vor dem knisternden Kamin so richtig kuschelig gemütlich gemacht. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und super ausgestattet, nichts hat gefehlt. Die Betreuung ist nett und sehr bemüht um das Wohl der Gäste.
Der Ort ist um diese Jahreszeit ruhig, trotzdem konnte ich alle Einkäufe zu Fuß erledigen und auch mein Auto hatte Pause. Besonders gefallen hat mir zum Abendessen das kleine gemütliche Restaurantchen 'Zum Klabautermann'. Hier war auch Frieda gerne gesehen.
Ich bin wieder da, bevor die Alarmglocken klingeln, denn Frieda und ich haben uns in unser Ferienhaus Friedchen verliebt.

super relaxing - all thumbs up!
We (a young family with a 1-year-old son) spontaneously stayed at Friedchen for 5 days
The house is in a great location! A well-stocked Edeka is right on the corner, just out of the Rainbow Camp. Cross the road and you're right on the middle and beach promenade and you're right on the white beach. Here you can either walk left down to the jetty and further to the cliffs or right down to the harbour
In the whole 5 days we did not move the car one metre because everything is within walking distance
The house is perfectly equipped with high chair, travel cot, games and beach toys, sand shell, handcart, and, and, and.... for children; but also in the kitchen you don't have to do without anything or bring your own: Blender, hand mixer, toaster, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and much more
I have never been in a holiday home with such extensive equipment
All in all, it was a great holiday! We will definitely come back again! :-)

Back in 1995 we discovered the beautiful Baltic Sea resort of Boltenhagen, which we immediately fell head over heels in love with. That's how we came up with our plan to look for a second, small home here. We decided to move our dream from Sweden to Germany, to an equally beautiful rural setting, only much closer from the driving distance, and built our cosy holiday home Friedchen. We were lucky and found a nice couple to cover for us in our absence, to look after our holiday home Friedchen and our guests lovingly and prudently, and to always have an open ear and eye for guests and the house. Every year we spend as much time as possible in our 'oasis of relaxation' and let our souls dangle. But it is just as important to us that our guests also have a good rest, feel comfortable and at home. Last year we completely renewed and renovated the entire ground floor. Cleanliness and cosiness are especially important to us.
