In a very charming and quiet location in the Baltic Sea Karlshagen is our beautiful and well equipped bungalow Marleen.
A large garden (610m ²) is ideal for sunbathing and games. A spacious living room (with fireplace) and dining room and American kitchen, a bathroom with tub and shower, a hallway with two bedrooms complete the offer.
The house has split overnight accommodation for four people in two bedrooms.
On the spacious south-east terrace there is a barbecue and various garden furniture.

Location and surroundings of object
Our bungalow is situated in a small holiday village of ten units at the end of a cul de sac on the left.
The plot is built on three sides and thus no direct view from the outside is possible.
The Baltic Sea beach can be reached through a small wooded area at a distance of 1000 meters. Karlshagen is a Baltic Sea in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in the north of the island of Usedom.
In a short distance, the Baltic Sea is ideal for sunbathing, sports and games. Infrastructural the Baltic Sea is well equipped. Shopping and a variety of tourist offers form a diverse framework for action

Our gorgeous grounds with mature tree growth, offers plenty of sun and shade areas (under the trees) on our garden area.
The island of Usedom is really worth a visit, not for nothing is it called the sunny island of Germany (average 1906 hours a year does the sun shine Usedom) and the Riviera Pomerania.
Lots of nature and sandy beaches is 40 km, as well as offered, thought-excited Penne Warnemünde.
Thus, the total of the natural park Sayagyi declared island, a paradise for nature lovers. Usedom is simply a charming holiday destination, not only in summer but also in spring, autumn and winter.

Very beautiful holiday home in a quiet location
We had two lovely weeks here in the holiday home. Well laid out and very nicely furnished. It was also good that there were bicycles available. We used them quite often. Since the property was not separately fenced, it was a bit difficult because our dog likes to escape (street dog). But we found a solution for that. We do have one small note, though. For us, the mattresses in the bedroom were way too soft. But everyone has their own preferences. Despite everything, we had a nice, quiet vacation.

A completely beautiful vacation
A wonderful holiday home, furnished with attention to detail, awaited us. We lacked nothing. Great location. You can enjoy a lot of peace and quiet. It’s great that bicycles are available. We used them every day. We can recommend the accommodation to everyone.

Nice 2 weeks of vacation with one downside.
We were the second time on Usedom, for the first time in this holiday home. Everything was clean. Sufficient cutlery and good dishes available. The terrace is behind the bungalow. The house is located at the end of a dead-end street. No through traffic. The view from the terrace is on a large meadow of a small (private?) campsite. Parking directly in front of the house. WLAN was recently installed in the house. The Netto is very close, also within walking distance. Penny a bit further away but also easy to reach.
Truly a bungalow to feel comfortable in!
The downside: What you should know if you come to this apartment in winter, autumn, or spring, when you still need to heat: The heating costs are very expensive. There is underfloor heating everywhere and a small wood stove, and small electric radiators are also available. We didn't want to use the wood stove, especially since the seal of the stove door looked a bit damaged. Everything else is very expensive, as almost everything runs on electricity. The existing solar panels are great (we used about 1/3 solar power), but they are not calculated differently in terms of electricity cost. 0.30 euros per kWh are charged. We heated very sparingly, as we knew from previous apartments that it would be costly. Nevertheless, the heating costs were significant after 2 weeks (120 euros). It would be nice if there was the possibility to rent kitchen towels, towels, and bed linen on site (of course for a fee). This way, one would need to bring these items themselves.
