The holiday home has two double beds and offers enough space for four people. Furthermore, there is a fully equipped kitchen and two televisions. A small wood-burning stove provides warmth and cosiness even in bad weather. A completely fenced, large property with old trees offers sufficient shade even on hot days
Arrival/departure is always on Saturdays. Arrival from 4.00 p.m. , departure until 10.00 a.m

The bungalow is located in a quiet, small holiday home settlement of ten units on the left side. A Netto supermarket and bakery are only a five-minute walk away. There is also a Penny supermarket (15-minute walk) and an Edeka supermarket (20-minute walk) in the immediate vicinity
Karlshagen is a Baltic seaside resort in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in the north of the island of Usedom
In the immediate vicinity, the Baltic Sea invites you to sunbathe as well as play sports and games. Shopping facilities and a variety of tourist attractions offer a wide range of leisure activities.

Beautiful holiday home in a quiet location
We felt very comfortable in Villa Kunterbunt. Of course, if you want action and hustle and bustle, you're in the wrong place. We spent a great vacation there for a few days with our dog... the location is ideal for us because there are meadows and forests in the immediate vicinity and you can go for a relaxed walk. The beach (dog beaches are available) is also not far away. There are enough shopping opportunities and they are quickly accessible.
I cannot confirm the previous reviewer's evaluation. The house was clean and without any defects.
The property has a beautiful old tree population and you can find a shady spot in hot weather. The terrace is cozy, gets lots of sunshine, and has a sun umbrella if needed. The property is fenced, so it was very relaxed for us and our dog.
The next restaurant, with a beer garden, is also not far away and there we had delicious fish, other dishes, and ice cream. Nice staff.
So we can't complain at all and will book again next year.

Warnung: Erhebliche Mängel, Vermieterin nicht kontaktierbar
Anfang Juni 2023 haben wir das Ferienhaus gebucht. Der Zustand des Hauses war ungepflegt: Dreck im Badezimmer (in den Ecken tote Käfer und Spinnen). Um die Mängel anzuzeigen, haben wir die im Inserat angegebene Telefonnummer angerufen, unter der sich -zu unserer Überraschung- lediglich die Mutter der Vermieterin meldete. Auf Nachfrage erklärte sie, dass "vor 4 - 6 Wochen" die letzte Reinigung erfolgt sei; sie könne aber erst am folgenden Montag eine Reinigungsfirma anrufen, und wann diese dann wirklich die Mängel beseitigen würde, wusste sie nicht.
Wir haben uns bereit erklärt, den gröbsten Schmutz selbst zu beseitigen, hierfür wurde uns eine Gutschrift von zwei Miettagen eingeräumt, die wir bis heute nicht erhalten haben.
Nach dem Telefonat haben wir beim Putzen weitere Mängel festgestellt: im Siphon der Dusche waren Haare und anderer Schmutz, unter den Schiebetüren waren ebenfalls Haare und "Schmodder". Die Toilette war ebenfalls schmutzig. Die Deckenlampe im Schlafzimmer war defekt. In den Polstern des Sofas lagen Fingernägel und Sand. Der Filter der Dunstabzugshaube in der Küche wurde lange nicht ausgetauscht das Fett hing heraus, die Dichtungen des Gefrierfachs waren verdreckt. Diese Mängel haben wir sofort der Vermieterin mitgeteilt, eine Rückmeldung innerhalb der nächsten zwei Tage erfolgte leider nicht, so dass wir abgereist sind. Nach mehrmaligen Anrufversuchen konnten wir die Mutter der Vermieterin noch einmal erreichen, danach brach der Kontakt ab. Auch Mails, SMS und Sprachnachrichten wurden ignoriert.
Achtung: Man erhält keine Postanschrift der Vermieterin bei Vertragsabschluss, so dass man letztlich keine Möglichkeit hat, evtl. Ansprüche geltend zu machen!

Herr O. ist am Samstagnachmittag angereist und hat am Samstagabend bei mir (der Vermieterin) wegen des Zustandes des Hauses angerufen. Ich habe sofort angeboten das zuständige Reinigungsunternehmen vorbei zu schicken, um die beanstandeten Mängel zu überprüfen und gegebenenfalls zu beseitigen. Außerdem haben ich eine Gutschrift über zwei Tagesmieten offeriert.
Herr O. schrieb darauf hin noch am Samstagabend um 21:03 Uhr: „Da meine Frau inzwischen alles gesäubert hat, ist die nachträgliche Beauftragung einer Reinigungsfirma … nicht mehr notwendig.“
Am Sonntagabend teilte uns Herr O. dann mit, dass er schon am Sonntagnachmittag (also nach weniger als 24 Std.) „schweren Herzens“ abgereist wäre. (???)
Die anschließende Überprüfung der Wohnung durch das Reinigungsunternehmen ergab lediglich einen verschmutzten Filter der Dunstabzugshaube.
Ich vermiete das Ferienhaus seit Anfang 2021 und habe viele zufriedene (Stamm)Gäste. Natürlich wurden in den vergangenen Jahren auch einmal kleine Mängel beanstandet. Diese hat das zuständige Reinigungsunternehmen dann prompt beseitigt.
