Description

lust for the sea' is guaranteed in this new comfort holiday home (built in 2012) located between Büsum and St. Peter-Ording in Dithmarschen. It is located in a cul-de-sac on the edge of a quiet holiday home settlement of colourful Scandinavian-style wooden houses - directly behind the dyke and with a terrace facing away from the road. It is only a 5-minute walk to the natural bathing beach with a small children's playground. Relax in the excellently equipped and light-flooded house with wood-burning stove, on the spacious, covered terrace with beach chair or in the large garden bordering a pond. A seating area in the garden with a fire tower invites you to a touch of campfire romance.
In the carefully equipped fitted kitchen with freezer and refrigerator combination, microwave and dishwasher, you can cater for your physical well-being. The 3 bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space, the bathroom with underfloor heating and sauna, the additional guest toilet, washing machine, dryer, the cosy play and retreat corner on the hemst - all this provides the setting for an unforgettable holiday, whether as a couple or with the whole family, whatever the season.

The small settlement of Wesselburenerkoog is the ideal starting point for an active holiday at the North Sea: Conveniently located - 18 km to the motorway - there are many different ways of organising your holiday:

A day trip to Hamburg - perhaps with a musical? A day trip to Husum or Friedrichsstadt with a canal trip, a trip to the Baltic Sea coast - Glücksburg, Flensburg, Kiel, to the Vikings in Schleswig, to Denmark ...

Excursions by ship? Helgoland, Pellworm, or crab fishing and to the seal banks.

Bicycle tours, hikes, nature experiences in the Wadden Sea and Katinger Watt - you're almost right in the middle of it!

Fresh fruit and vegetables, also in organic quality, are offered near the holiday home settlement, also directly from the farm. In nearby Wesselburen (8 km) there are various supermarkets (Sky, Aldi, ) and you can do some really nice shopping in Heide, Büsum, ,
Wesselburenerkoog is a small settlement on the North Sea coast north of Büsum and about 2 km south of the Eider barrage in the district of Dithmarschen.
The house is situated directly behind the dyke. At the foot of the dyke, on the side facing the sea, there is a tarred footpath/cycle path along which you can go on bicycle tours and hikes for kilometres along the coast.

: Top holiday home in a quiet location

In short, a very beautiful, well-equipped, and clean holiday home. Our son had a lot of fun on the loft above the kitchen. The contact with the landlords was very pleasant and they responded to arrival and departure requests, thank you again for that. Also, a big compliment to your cleaning lady, she prepared the house impeccably!!!!
Thank you very much for the welcome treat, it was delicious.
We would love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend the holiday home. The long journey through the country was definitely worth it.

Great vacation house

We have stayed in many vacation homes, but "Lust auf Meer" is the best one we have ever booked. Everything and much more that you need is there, sparkling clean, in great condition, totally cozy and lovingly furnished, and the contact with the landlord exemplary. The location is optimal for bike tours to Büsum, St. Peter Ording, Wesselburen, and Tönning. The dike and meadow beach are only a few steps away, just like the "Deichkate" if you don't feel like cooking. We can only recommend the vacation home.

A true dream holiday home

We (3 children with dad and mom) were able to spend an Easter week in this great holiday home. In the house you will find everything you need for a holiday. We had never found accommodation that well equipped before.
The house was also very clean.
I had very nice contact with Mrs. Spindler and we were able to extend our stay for one more night without any problems.
The location is fantastic, right behind the dike. In 5 minutes you can walk to the natural beach, where you will also find a small playground.

We have had a completely perfect holiday here and are looking forward to seeing you again.

Top holiday home for the whole family

We stayed in this vacation home this year with our two children (8 and 11) and were thrilled. The equipment is great, everything you need is really there, even a microwave, washing machine, and dryer. We really didn't miss anything. The Wi-Fi also works satisfactorily thanks to 5G.
The location in the vacation village directly behind the dike is wonderful, and the proximity to St. Peter Ording, where we mostly went to the beach, is also absolutely fine.
The garden with two great loungers and a wonderful view of the small lake and the dike is great too. Thanks to fly screens, you are well protected from the mosquitoes there. A grill and a fire pit are also available.
The only criticism (at least for taller people with a little more weight) is that the sauna seats are somewhat inconveniently located, and the biggest criticism is the bed. It squeaked so loudly with every small movement that you thought it would collapse.
But that's just nitpicking. Otherwise, the vacation home can be recommended without hesitation.

super schönes Ferienhaus

Since we were here last year, but had a different holiday home, we can compare very well. This time we were entirely satisfied. This is the best accommodation we have ever had so far. Top equipment, the entire holiday home was really clean, even the outdoor area. I would recommend it again and again.

Autumn holiday

Despite Corona and stormy weather, we spent a very relaxing week here. We were very satisfied with the cleanliness and equipment of the holiday home! We did not miss anything in the kitchen or living area. By car, you can find various shopping options for daily needs within a few minutes. Extensive walks directly by the water and amidst sheep made our holiday perfect. To explore the surrounding area, we have already booked once again!

Perfektes Ferienhaus

Beautiful, tastefully furnished holiday home directly behind the dike. The house (including the kitchen) is well-equipped, nothing was missing. Communication with the landlord and on-site manager was quick, friendly, and trouble-free. The location in SH is perfect, you can quickly reach many beautiful excursion destinations - Büsum, SPO, Tönning. Our holiday was indeed beautiful. I can fully recommend the house, and if we are drawn to the North Sea again, we will gladly book here again. :)

Rundum begeistert

We were in this beautiful house for a few days at the end of September. We felt comfortable since the initial contact. The pictures and previous reviews already indicated that it would be great, but upon arrival, our expectations were exceeded. It would be easier to mention what is missing, but we can't think of anything. Super clean!! The location is simply amazing!! Quiet and yet easily accessible by car to everything. We would book again at any time.

Top vacation, top house, top location

We spent two wonderful weeks in this perfectly equipped holiday home, directly behind the dike, next to a beautiful biotope, in the midst of a holiday home settlement. Shopping facilities, beach, etc. are very easily accessible, and the great garden, with a beach chair and two very comfortable lounge chairs, invites for relaxation and staying.

Thanks to the beautiful book about "Dithmarschen," we explored the entire region and discovered many things that we probably would have never seen otherwise. Starting with St. Peter-Ording with its wide sandy beach and beach bars on great wooden structures - but also the town itself, Husum and Büsum as well as Tönning and Heide are absolutely worth seeing.
Even a day trip to Heligoland is easily doable. The only downside; all guided tours to the lighthouse in Westhever were fully booked for days and without a tour, you cannot access the lighthouse. So it's worth clarifying beforehand and possibly making an appointment for the viewing.
We also enjoyed the hikes in the Wadden Sea, where there was always something to discover.
Even though the first week was quite rainy and there were severe storms (typical for the North Sea but still beautiful), we enjoyed the vacation to the fullest.
We would like to thank the landlords and the support on site very much. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Desire for peace and sheep.

After a short adjustment to the existing electric heating system, we could mainly enjoy the tranquility on-site. During colder travel times, it's advisable to ensure cozy warmth with the wood stove in the living area. It's cozier and somehow feels warmer. If you have to or want to go to the North Sea mainly because of the climate, you can't go wrong with this house. Basking in the sunshine at 13 degrees in the beach chair on the terrace, pure relaxation. All kitchen appliances, dishes, a sufficient number of glasses, and cups are available.
A beautiful and relaxing family vacation.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Wer einen ruhigen Deich liebt, gerne Frösche, Enten und anderes Getier beobachtet ist hier goldrichtig. Wer Halligalli will muss nach Sylt , St.-Reter-Ording oder Hamburg.

free time activities: Alles mit dem Auto innerhalb 30-40 Minuten zu erreichen (außer Hamburg): Sandstrand, Schifffahrt an der Küste oder bis Helgoland, nette kleine Städtchen, großer Tourirummel, nette Museen, ...

shopping facilities: In Wesselburen 3 Supermärkte vorhanden, aber ohne Auto fast unmöglich zu erreichen und die Beute ins Haus zu schaffen. Der Brötchenservice der Bäckerei Menzel ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.
