lust for the sea' is guaranteed in this new comfort holiday home (built in 2012) located between Büsum and St. Peter-Ording in Dithmarschen. It is located in a cul-de-sac on the edge of a quiet holiday home settlement of colourful Scandinavian-style wooden houses - directly behind the dyke and with a terrace facing away from the road. It is only a 5-minute walk to the natural bathing beach with a small children's playground. Relax in the excellently equipped and light-flooded house with wood-burning stove, on the spacious, covered terrace with beach chair or in the large garden bordering a pond. A seating area in the garden with a fire tower invites you to a touch of campfire romance.
In the carefully equipped fitted kitchen with freezer and refrigerator combination, microwave and dishwasher, you can cater for your physical well-being. The 3 bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space, the bathroom with underfloor heating and sauna, the additional guest toilet, washing machine, dryer, the cosy play and retreat corner on the hemst - all this provides the setting for an unforgettable holiday, whether as a couple or with the whole family, whatever the season.

The small settlement of Wesselburenerkoog is the ideal starting point for an active holiday at the North Sea: Conveniently located - 18 km to the motorway - there are many different ways of organising your holiday:
A day trip to Hamburg - perhaps with a musical? A day trip to Husum or Friedrichsstadt with a canal trip, a trip to the Baltic Sea coast - Glücksburg, Flensburg, Kiel, to the Vikings in Schleswig, to Denmark ...
Excursions by ship? Helgoland, Pellworm, or crab fishing and to the seal banks.
Or pure nature from the front door:
Bicycle tours, hikes, nature experiences in the Wadden Sea and Katinger Watt - you're almost right in the middle of it!
Or on the move in a sporty way:

Wesselburenerkoog is a small settlement on the North Sea coast north of Büsum and about 2 km south of the Eider barrage in the district of Dithmarschen.
The house is situated directly behind the dyke. At the foot of the dyke, on the side facing the sea, there is a tarred footpath/cycle path along which you can go on bicycle tours and hikes for kilometres along the coast.

Great vacation house
We have stayed in many vacation homes, but "Lust auf Meer" is the best one we have ever booked. Everything and much more that you need is there, sparkling clean, in great condition, totally cozy and lovingly furnished, and the contact with the landlord exemplary. The location is optimal for bike tours to Büsum, St. Peter Ording, Wesselburen, and Tönning. The dike and meadow beach are only a few steps away, just like the "Deichkate" if you don't feel like cooking. We can only recommend the vacation home.

A true dream holiday home
We (3 children with dad and mom) were able to spend an Easter week in this great holiday home. In the house you will find everything you need for a holiday. We had never found accommodation that well equipped before.
The house was also very clean.
I had very nice contact with Mrs. Spindler and we were able to extend our stay for one more night without any problems.
The location is fantastic, right behind the dike. In 5 minutes you can walk to the natural beach, where you will also find a small playground.
We have had a completely perfect holiday here and are looking forward to seeing you again.

Top holiday home for the whole family
We stayed in this vacation home this year with our two children (8 and 11) and were thrilled. The equipment is great, everything you need is really there, even a microwave, washing machine, and dryer. We really didn't miss anything. The Wi-Fi also works satisfactorily thanks to 5G.
The location in the vacation village directly behind the dike is wonderful, and the proximity to St. Peter Ording, where we mostly went to the beach, is also absolutely fine.
The garden with two great loungers and a wonderful view of the small lake and the dike is great too. Thanks to fly screens, you are well protected from the mosquitoes there. A grill and a fire pit are also available.
The only criticism (at least for taller people with a little more weight) is that the sauna seats are somewhat inconveniently located, and the biggest criticism is the bed. It squeaked so loudly with every small movement that you thought it would collapse.
But that's just nitpicking. Otherwise, the vacation home can be recommended without hesitation.

super schönes Ferienhaus
Da wir letzes Jahr schon einmal hier waren, aber ein anderes Ferienhaus hatten,können wir sehr gut vergleichen. Wir waren dieses mal rund um zufrieden. Das ist bis jetzt die beste Unterkunft die wir je hatten.
Top Ausstattung, das ganze Ferienhaus was richtig sauber, auch der Aussenbereich.
Ich würde sie immer wieder weiter empfehlen.

Herbsturlaub
Trotz Corona und stürmischen Wetter haben wir hier eine sehr erholsame Woche verbracht. Wir waren mit der Sauberkeit und der Ausstattung des Ferienhauses sehr zufrieden! Haben weder in der Küche noch im Wohnbereich irgend etwas vermisst.
Mit dem Auto findet man in wenigen Minuten verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf.
Ausgedehnte Spaziergänge direkt am Wasser und in Mitten von Schafen haben unseren Erholungsurlaub perfekt gemacht. Um die nähere Umgebung zu erkunden haben wir bereits ein weiteres Mal gebucht!

Perfektes Ferienhaus
Wunderschönes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus direkt hinter dem Deich. Das Haus (inkl. Küche) ist umfassend ausgestattet, es fehlte nichts. Die Kommunikation mit Vermieterin und Verwalterin vor Ort war schnell, freundlich und problemlos.
Die Lage in SH ist perfekt, man ist schnell an vielen schönen Ausflugszielen - Büsum, SPO, Tönning. Unser Urlaub war jedenfalls wunderschön. :)
Ich kann das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen, und wenn es uns mal wieder an die Nordsee zieht, werden wir hier gern wieder buchen.

Rundum begeistert
Wir waren Ende September für ein paar Tage in diesem wunderschönen Haus .
Wir haben uns seit ser Kontaktaufnahme wohl gefühlt . Die Bilder und bereits abgegebenen Bewertungen ließen ja schon erahnen dass es toll wird ,aber beim Eintreffen wurden unsere Erwartungen übertroffen . Es wäre einfacher zu erwähnen was fehlt aber selbst da fällt uns nichts ein . Sauberkeit mega !!
Die Lage ist einfach nur klasse !!Ruhig und dennoch ist mit dem Auto alles gut erreichbar .
Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen .

Top-Urlau, Top-Haus, Top-Lage
Wir verbrachten zwei wunderschöne Wochen in diesem perfekt ausgestatteten Ferienhaus, direkt hinter dem Deich, an einem schönen Biotop, inmitten einer Ferienhaussiedlung. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Strand etc. sind sehr gut erreichbar und auch der tolle Garten, mit Strandkorb und zwei ganz bequemen (Liege-)-Stühlen lädt zum geniessen und verweilen ein.
Dank dem schönen Buch über "Dithmarschen" haben wir die ganze Region erkundet und vieles entdeckt, was wir sonst wohl nie gesehen hätten. Angefangen von St.Peter-Ording mit dem breiten Sandstrand und seinen Strandbars auf tollen Pfahlbauten - aber auch der Ort selber, Husum und Büsum sowie Tönning und Heide sind absolut sehenswert.
Selbst ein Tagestrip nach Helgoland ist gut machbar. Einziger Wermutstropfen; alle Führungen auf den Leuchtturm in Westhever waren über Tage ausgebucht und ohne Führung gelangt man nicht auf den Leuchtturm. Hier lohnt es sich also, vorher abzuklären und allenfalls einen Termin für die Besichtigung auszumachen.
Ebenfalls haben wir die Wanderungen im Watt genossen, wo es immer etwas zu entdecken gab.
Auch wenn die erste Woche ziemlich verregnet war und es massiv stürmte (typisch für die Nordsee und trotzdem schön) genossen wir den Urlaub in vollen Zügen.
Wir möchten uns bei den Vermietern und der Betreuung vor Ort ganz herzlich bedanken. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Lust auf Ruhe und Schafe
Nach einer kurzen Eingewöhnung in die vorhandene elektrische Heizung konnten wir uns vor allem an der Ruhe vor Ort erfreuen. Bei einer kälteren Reisezeit sollte man mit dem Holzofen im Wohnraum für eine mollige Wärme sorgen. Ist gemütlicher und fühlt sich irgendwie wärmer an.
Wer vor allem wegen des Klimas an die Nordsee fahren muss oder möchte, kann mit diesem Haus nichts falsch machen. Bei Sonnenschein und 13 Grad im Strandkorb auf der Terasse konnten wir uns braten lassen. Erholung pur.
Alle Küchengeräte, Geschirr, ausreichende Anzahl an Gläsern und Tassen sind vorhanden.
Ein schöner und entspannender Familienurlaub.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Wer einen ruhigen Deich liebt, gerne Frösche, Enten und anderes Getier beobachtet ist hier goldrichtig. Wer Halligalli will muss nach Sylt , St.-Reter-Ording oder Hamburg.
free time activities: Alles mit dem Auto innerhalb 30-40 Minuten zu erreichen (außer Hamburg): Sandstrand, Schifffahrt an der Küste oder bis Helgoland, nette kleine Städtchen, großer Tourirummel, nette Museen, ...
shopping facilities: In Wesselburen 3 Supermärkte vorhanden, aber ohne Auto fast unmöglich zu erreichen und die Beute ins Haus zu schaffen. Der Brötchenservice der Bäckerei Menzel ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.

Gerne immer wieder!
Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in diesem super Ferienhaus verlebt. Perfekte Lage direkt am Deich - und hinter dem Haus ein schöner Teich - Herz, was willst du mehr? Die Ausstattung ist sehr geschmackvoll und es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Die Bilder halten zu 100 %, was sie versprechen. Bei Ebay würde man sagen: 5 Sterne - Prima! Vielen Dank! Immer wieder gerne!
