It is located in a quiet holiday home settlement of colourful Scandinavian-style wooden houses - directly behind the dyke. The natural beach with a small children's playground is only a 5-minute walk away. Relax in the excellently equipped and light-flooded house with wood-burning stove, on the spacious, covered terrace with beach chair or in the garden with cosy deck chairs.
In the carefully equipped fitted kitchen with freezer and refrigerator combination, microwave and dishwasher, you can cater for your physical well-being. The 3 bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space, the bathroom with sauna, the cosy play and retreat corner on the hemst - all this provides the setting for an unforgettable holiday, whether as a couple or with the whole family, whatever the season.

Wesselburenerkoog is a small settlement in the district of Dithmarschen directly on the North Sea coast midway between St. Peter-Ording and Büsum, 2 km south of the Eider barrage.
The house is situated directly behind the dyke. At the foot of the dike, on the side facing the sea, there is a tarmac foot/cycle path along which you can go on cycle tours and walks for miles along the coast. Wesselburenerkoog is the ideal starting point for an active holiday at the North Sea: Conveniently located - 18 km to the motorway - there are many different ways to organise your holiday:
A day trip to Hamburg - perhaps with a musical? Sometimes to Husum or Friedrichsstadt with a canal trip, sometimes a trip to the Baltic Sea coast - Glücksburg, Flensburg, Kiel, to the Vikings in Schleswig, sometimes to Denmark ...
Excursions by ship? Helgoland, Pellworm or crab fishing and to the seal banks.
Or pure nature from the front door:
Bicycle tours, hikes, nature experiences in the Wadden Sea and Katinger Watt - you're almost right in the middle of it!
Or on the move in a sporty way:
Sandy beaches, Büsum, St. Peter-Ording, kite flying, surfing, kite surfing, wave pools, golf, kilometre-long bicycle tours on the dyke, horse riding - everything is possible. .

Family holiday
We have positive experiences with both the holiday home and the landlords. The hygiene and cleanliness in the house were perfect. The equipment in the house is extensive and leaves nothing to be desired. We felt very comfortable. Many brochures for trips to St.peter Ording, Büsum, Eidersperrwerk. Thank you for the beautiful house. we will definitely be back!

perfekte Unterkunft für Unternehmungslustige mit Kids
Küche komplett ausgestattet (sieht man in der Art selten), es fehlt an nichts. In den Zimmern viel Stauraum. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Sauna perfekt zum Tagesausklang, dank der kurzen Vorwärmzeit haben wir sie täglich benutzt. Die ganz in der Nähe befindliche Deichkate machte es uns leicht nicht selbst zu kochen (sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs- Verhältnis. Der Badestrand ist allerdings nur bedingt bei Flut geeignet und hat einen sehr flach abfallend. (Lieber an einen Sandstrand fahren, wir waren in St. Peter-Ording) Aber für Wattspaziergänge und überhaupt Wanderungen oder Fahrradtouren ideal. Im Haus fanden wir zahlreiche Ideen und Tipps dafür. Ein kleiner Spielplatz ist auch in der Nähe, wo unsere beiden Siebenjährigen auch mal alleine hin konnten, neben Drachen steigen und Schafe beobachten. Wunderschöner Sonnenuntergang! Vorsicht bei Teenys: es könnten Entzugserscheinungen auftreten, da der Netzempfang nicht so doll ist.

Sehr erholsamer Familienurlaub
Spielplatz direkt vor der Tür, das Meer wenige Schritte entfernt und das Ferienhaus so gemütlich, wir hätten gerne noch ein paar Tage länger hier verbracht. Nie so eine tadellos saubere Unterkunft gesehen. Betten, Essecke und Sofa so gemütlich. Insgesamt sehr geschmackvoll und durchdacht eingerichtet. Man wünscht sich fast schlechtes Wetter um Sauna und Sofa geniessen zu können :-) Unsere Tochter konnte hier super Fahrrad fahren lernen aufgrund der tollen, ruhigen Wege rund ums Haus. Auch der Kontakt sehr unkompliziert und freundlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

100% Wohlfühlurlaub
Wir haben nur positive Erfahrungen sowohl mit dem Ferienhaus als auch mit den Vermietern und der Hausverwaltung vor Ort gemacht. Es war, trotz Corona, ein rundum erholsamer Urlaub. Die Hygienemaßnahmen und Sauberkeit im Haus waren tadellos. Die Ausstattung im Haus ist äußerst umfangreich und lässt (vor allem in der Küche) eigentlich keine Urlaubswünsche offen. Sehr durchdacht findet man bspw. viele Aufbewahrungsboxen z.B. für unterwegs, verschiedene Töpfe, Schalen, Pfannen usw. (so wie man es von Zuhause kennt).
Wir sind mit einem 10Monate alten Säugling gefahren und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Verdient mehr als einen Kurzurlaub
Ein sehr gepflegtes Haus, auch in Kleinigkeiten durchdacht ausgestattet verhalf uns zu einem sehr angenehmen Kurzurlaub. Wir konnten entspannen, gemeinsames Kochen hat bei dieser Ausstattung Freude gemacht und der Weg zur Nordsee ist kurz.
