Villa LaMori offers all holiday comforts on approx. 170 sqm including a covered outdoor dining room. Traditional elements such as natural stone, round arches and pine woods have been tastefully combined with modern furnishings. The large panoramic window front in the living room and traditional stone arches conjure up a bright, friendly atmosphere in the room. The indoor fireplace and the large oriental sofa under the archway niche create a cosy ambience. All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with satellite TV. The complete modern fitted kitchen with dishwasher as well as a washing machine provide the usual comfort. In the open dining area under stone arches, an outdoor fireplace tempts you to spend evenings outdoors, even in the early and late season
On the first floor is the master bedroom with four-poster bed and a bathroom that leads directly to the roof terrace with Jacuzzi whirlpool. Here you can relax and enjoy the fantastic view of the sunsets in the sea. On the 100sqm panoramic roof terrace with lounge lounger shell, you can also enjoy the sea and mountains during the day
The villa is located on the edge of the village of Prines. The 2 neighbouring villas are also each on a plot of over 4000 sqm, so your privacy is guaranteed. The harbour town of Rethymno with shops, Lidl, restaurants and culture can be reached by car in 10 minutes
The garden has been left wild and romantic. Of course, your pool area with spacious terrace is tiled and you will find comfortable garden furniture and sun loungers at the heated pool with children's pool.

Location and surroundings of object
The villa is located on the outskirts of the village of Prines. The 2 neighbouring villas are also each on a plot of over 4000 sqm, so that your privacy is guaranteed. Around the villas there is almost "only" The harbour town of Rethymno with shops, Lidl, restaurants and culture can be reached by car in 10 minutes. Prines is situated above the bay of Rethymno. If you drive on the old national road from Rethymnon to Prines, you first pass through the larger neighbouring village of Atsipopoulo. Many Rethymnon residents have built their family homes there, and numerous shops and other commercial enterprises have settled there. If you drive from Atsipopoulo to Prines, you will find the taverna "Giannikos" on the right-hand side, which also serves as a kafenion. This also includes the tables and chairs on the small, cosy village square right next to it, which is shaded by some large trees. Just opposite is the smaller of Prines' two mini-markets. The old village centre is behind the taverna "Giannikos". If you continue along the old national road for 100 m in the direction of Georgioupolis, you will see Antonis' taverna "The Olive" on the right-hand side. Here you can eat Greek dishes prepared by mum every day. Dad grills and Antonis serves. There is also a cosy morning pint here. Almost opposite is the larger of the two mini-markets and the local citizens' office. At the end of the village there is a petrol station on the right, a butcher's shop and a country store, and at the very end there is the cafe "Gesthimani" with a snack bar. The neighbouring village of Atsipopoulo has almost all the shops you could wish for within easy reach.

We take care of everything for you in advance. You can then leave the car at the airport. Since the beginning of 2024, the Greek government has introduced an eco-tax. This is staggered by category and season: The fee from March 1st - October 31st is €10.00/night per villa and from November 1st - February 29th it is €4.00/night, regardless of the number of guests. The amount can be transferred to us before arrival, or paid in cash, or with Visa or Master card. |
