A natural paradise not only for children

We really liked the uncomplicated and natural way of dealing with the animals. Our daughter collected the eggs from the hen's nest every morning and the cats quickly became her friends. In the evenings we fed the two pigs, and we also took the pony and the donkey very much to our hearts. Oh, and the big trampoline in the middle of the meadow orchard had the perfect place between all the animals and climbing trees. So the children could also play outside on their own. All in all, a very cosy hostel in the middle of nature. We would definitely like to come back!

Enjoy a relaxing time in the countryside

On a balmy summer evening we "rode" - after a car breakdown - into the lovely horse stable and just let the boys plop down in bed after petting some baby cats outside. For the second time on holiday with you, we again felt right at home after the friendly welcome and the beautiful countryside opportunities. Our big son spent the days completely occupied with the tame animals and the little one soon made friends too, they found the cats and chickens on the patio table particularly funny - which we had to "guard" especially at mealtimes ;-) Nice places to visit are Himmelpfort (also in summer!), the many small (almost deserted) lakes around the corner and if the weather is bad, an indoor playground will do - although it takes a good drive. THANK YOU for the quiet hours, the delicious fresh breakfast eggs, the pleasant atmosphere in the - tastefully furnished - holiday flat and of course the huge trampoline, which can tame wild boys well! ... and the new, fast WLAN is also helpful :)

Simply a unique holiday!

We have also been to your horse stable for the third time and it was super cozy again! When the sun shines, the children roam around the pasture while parents can relax in the sun loungers. Even when it rains, the little ones can play wonderfully under the barn in the straw storage or flip through the books in the holiday apartment. And when that is done, you can ride dear Susi, feed Otto and Willi with carrots, pet rabbits and cat babies (the children are especially fond of them) or collect eggs in the chicken coop. And your service is just fantastic!!! See you next year!

Window to nature

We have been going to Lychen at least twice a year for six years now. Our older and older children arrive at Hof Georgenhöhe and don't want to leave. Their interests change, sometimes it's the animals, sometimes it's the big trampoline and sometimes it's just the special atmosphere when a creature unfortunately unknown to the city children circles over the field. And those who manage to leave the farm can have a great time in the area: sporty, romantic, with or without children.
We like to travel a lot and have very rarely discovered such a great house to stay in and feel good in. Furnished with a lot of love. A place to which our whole family loves to return; which is also due to the special hosts!
And of course we have already booked for 2018!

Country life and animals, ideal for families.

Our second farm vacation, and we (family with two children, 6 and 8 years old) were thrilled. We have already booked again!
1. Facilities:
The horse stable has many original elements and is very harmoniously designed. Bathroom with underfloor heating, kitchen well equipped (sharp knives!), toaster, blender, everything is there.
All high quality, great dishes.
2. Price/Performance:
Absolutely fair prices for the apartment (we were there in the off-season, which we found even cheap). Going out to eat, shopping, and services are generally very affordable in the Uckermark: ideal for families.
3. Service:
Thanks to the landlords for the many explanations about the animals and great tips for excursions. Firewood for the fireplace was provided for free. There is a lot of toys available for children in the apartment and there are also outdoor activities (swing, etc.).
4. Location:
The farm is secluded outside the city. By car, you can reach the bakery in two minutes. The apartment is located in absolute tranquility in the orchard. There is another apartment, but it is far enough away. You look out over a slightly hilly landscape. 5-star sunsets and a fantastic starry sky, as there is no light pollution. There are several lakes in the area.

It was great to pet and feed the many small and large animals. You can approach them directly, without a fence in between. A unique experience for the children and me :) All in all, deserves 5 stars!

Once on the Georgenhöhe estate, always on the Georgenhöhe estate.

We have now been to Hof Georgenhöhe twice. For all of us, the farm is totally beautiful and relaxing. When we arrive, we chat a little with Rainer and Yvonne and immediately feel at home. (Unlike in other accommodations, we don't need two days to feel settled). We all look forward to the time when we can go to Hof Georgenhöhe...it is a fixed part of our vacation planning!

A very nice holiday for families/grandparents with children.

We were here with our grandson and had great weather as well. Despite the spartan furnishings, we didn't miss anything! We didn't need a TV, but spent the whole time outside in the fresh air with the animals or entertained ourselves with board games. Even washing up by hand, which many people are no longer accustomed to these days, does something for interpersonal relationships! The only downside is the location, but easily accessible by car. We would have loved to come back in 2017, but everything was already fully booked by the end of 2016. Maybe it will work out in 2018 ;)

Dream vacation in the Uckermark

Since 2009, we have been vacationing at Georgenhöhe every year. For us, everything is perfect there: the friendly and helpful hosts who always have an open ear, the lovingly decorated holiday apartments (former pigsty and horse stable), the direct contact with the animals (the chickens and cats follow you to the apartment door). The farm is very beautiful, and due to its secluded location, the loudest noise is the crowing of roosters and the cackling of geese. For us Berliners, it is pure relaxation through the silence. The view over the orchard during the evening sunset is beautiful and peaceful. Depending on your preference, there is a lot to discover in the surroundings. You can swim wonderfully in the lakes of Uckermark, there is a lot to see in Lychen and also a great new playground. Then you can of course drive to Templin so that you won't get bored even in rainy weather. Because there is the spa, the chocolate factory, and much more.
We will definitely come back; we have already booked for the upcoming summer!

Farmhouse straight out of a picture book.

In the summer of 2016, we spent our family vacation at Hof Georgenhöhe. We were warmly welcomed by Yvonne and Rainer and provided with good tips about the area. The holiday apartment is fantastically located and very cozy. There is plenty of crockery and kitchen utensils, so cooking is a pleasure and there is no need to count every plate. The contact with the animals is close and a real experience for everyone. There is a great cherry tree avenue leading to the farm. If our children weren't in the tree, they were with the young cats or romping around the yard. The area is fantastic for biking. There are several lakes for swimming nearby. The two holiday apartments on the farm are also spaced enough apart so that everyone can have their own space. In the evening, you can enjoy the endless expanse of the Uckermark region directly from the terrace. Pure relaxation is guaranteed. Even in bad weather, a great place to visit. We would love to come back, if we can secure a booking.

Holiday on the farm

Our stay at Georgenhöhe Hof was a very nice experience for us. In order to offer our grandson something special before starting school, we chose this farm and were not disappointed. The interaction with the animals was particularly well received by our grandson. To this day, he raves about the time in Lychen. We would gladly recommend this accommodation.
