The FINCA TENERIFE-ROMANTICA lies on the eastern edge of the world famous Orotava Valley in the outdoor area of Puerto de la Cruz in the area with probably the best and most balanced climate in the world, only about 125 m above sea level. The entrance to the finca is situated almost at the end of a quiet cul de sac on the rocks overlooking the sea. On one side of the approximately 4,500 sqm finca borders a small nature reserve, part of the Finca even heard even to this nature reserve.
Ten benches at various spots of Finca invite you to linger, unwind and enjoy yourself.
On the FINCA TENERIFE-ROMANTICA may not be missing also the swimming pool. It was built of real stone, and although he is naturally in the sun, he is totally surrounded by nature. Apart from flowers and ornamental shrubs thrive on the Finca also bananas, avocados, mangoes and almonds. And the beautiful red-orange flowering African tulip tree and the beautiful blue flowering jacaranda and flowering with pretty red panicles Schefflera are mentioned.
Also one of the landmarks of Tenerife, there are on the Finca: Several Dragos (dragon trees). And our elephant-foot is the largest and most beautiful of its kind we have ever seen. The bushes, which we must mention absolutely, are firstly, the beautiful oleander (Spanish: Adelfas) and the sun on evenings (and nights) incredibly intense and beguiling smelling 'Galan de Noche' (Galan of the night). Not to mention the beautiful birds of paradise. And from late autumn until spring rejoice over the Finca distributed the Christmas star with its lavish rich red. On the farm we also have a small cactus collection. Of particular note here is the 'Queen of the Night'. Each flower blooms only one night with an up to 15 cm diameter beautiful yellow-orange calyx, which exudes an extremely strong heady scent of vanilla. And these beauties of nature is complemented by hundreds of colorful flowers.

A jewel in Santa Ursula Tenerife
We booked our first holiday in Tenerife this year at the Finca Tenerife Romantica.
Even before our arrival, we received a lot of useful information for our stay from Eddi, e.g. the car rental, pick-up at the airport and drop-off went smoothly.
On site, we were warmly welcomed by Eddi and he also gave us some tips for restaurants with typical local dishes, some of which we tried out and can recommend.
We enjoyed days of peace and relaxation in the perfectly furnished flat in the middle of this fantastically landscaped garden with a beautiful pool
The location of the finca is ideal as a starting point for excursions into the beautiful landscape of Tenerife, to the Teide and to the sea. The cities of Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz, which are well worth a visit, can also be reached quickly via the well-developed motorways.
There are also several supermarkets for daily needs within a few minutes.
Our stay made us so enthusiastic about the island that we will certainly visit Tenerife again.

Here you can feel at home
Hello Eddi, we enjoyed our (unfortunately only) 8-day stay in the holiday flat Solymar on the Finca Tenerife Romantica very much and would like to thank you once again for the helpfulness and the friendly welcome. A very nice gesture was the extensive welcome gift with fruit, wine and more.
The complex is located in a very well-kept villa area, absolutely quiet and with very lush vegetation. The Solymar flat is very spacious, the bathrooms are well maintained, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, even if you want to cook something more elaborate. By the way, an excellently stocked Mercadona supermarket is just a few minutes' walk away.
The sea view with sunset from the terrace was wonderful every evening, you could even see the Teide from the side.
And then there is the wonderful garden, laid out on different levels, with lots of seating for the guests.
The complex is also a good starting point for excursions in all directions and heights of Tenerife. We can really recommend the finca if you are looking for peace and quiet.

A little paradise

Dear Luci, dear Eddi,
our last days in your little paradise have now begun.
We would like to thank you very much for your cordiality and for a service that leaves nothing to be desired.
We were already very happy when we arrived. There was a dog basket, bowls and wipes ready for our little furry friend Leo. But we were also well taken care of. Bread, butter, sausage, cheese and a bottle of wine to welcome us.
The whole complex is very well maintained and beautifully planted. There is something new to discover everywhere.
We were especially happy about your invitation to eat in a typical Canarian restaurant at an altitude of almost 1000 metres. We had a great afternoon there.
Unfortunately, the 4 weeks have flown by but we console ourselves with the fact that we will certainly come back.
