The FINCA TENERIFE-ROMANTICA lies on the eastern edge of the world famous Orotava Valley in the outdoor area of Puerto de la Cruz in the area with probably the best and most balanced climate in the world, only about 125 m above sea level. The entrance to the finca is situated almost at the end of a quiet cul de sac on the rocks overlooking the sea. On one side of the approximately 4,500 sqm finca borders a small nature reserve, part of the Finca even heard even to this nature reserve.
Ten benches at various spots of Finca invite you to linger, unwind and enjoy yourself.
On the FINCA TENERIFE-ROMANTICA may not be missing also the swimming pool. It was built of real stone, and although he is naturally in the sun, he is totally surrounded by nature. From the pool you have swim a great view over the Finca. - Go to the pool and adjacent sun terrace you come across a romantic little bridge over a pond with water plants and fish.
And our fitness room is located in a private covered stone terrace, the front glass doors front can close your as needed or slide completely aside. Here you can also relax and relaxation.

Apart from flowers and ornamental shrubs thrive on the Finca also bananas, avocados, mangoes and almonds. And the beautiful red-orange flowering African tulip tree and the beautiful blue flowering jacaranda and flowering with pretty red panicles Schefflera are mentioned.
Also one of the landmarks of Tenerife, there are on the Finca: Several Dragos (dragon trees). And our elephant-foot is the largest and most beautiful of its kind we have ever seen. The bushes, which we must mention absolutely, are firstly, the beautiful oleander (Spanish: Adelfas) and the sun on evenings (and nights) incredibly intense and beguiling smelling 'Galan de Noche' (Galan of the night). Not to mention the beautiful birds of paradise. And from late autumn until spring rejoice over the Finca distributed the Christmas star with its lavish rich red. On the farm we also have a small cactus collection. Of particular note here is the 'Queen of the Night'. Each flower blooms only one night with an up to 15 cm diameter beautiful yellow-orange calyx, which exudes an extremely strong heady scent of vanilla. And these beauties of nature is complemented by hundreds of colorful flowers.

A jewel in Santa Ursula Tenerife
We booked our first holiday in Tenerife this year at the Finca Tenerife Romantica.
Even before our arrival, we received a lot of useful information for our stay from Eddi, e.g. the car rental, pick-up at the airport and drop-off went smoothly.
On site, we were warmly welcomed by Eddi and he also gave us some tips for restaurants with typical local dishes, some of which we tried out and can recommend.
We enjoyed days of peace and relaxation in the perfectly furnished flat in the middle of this fantastically landscaped garden with a beautiful pool
The location of the finca is ideal as a starting point for excursions into the beautiful landscape of Tenerife, to the Teide and to the sea. The cities of Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz, which are well worth a visit, can also be reached quickly via the well-developed motorways.
There are also several supermarkets for daily needs within a few minutes.
Our stay made us so enthusiastic about the island that we will certainly visit Tenerife again.

Here you can feel at home
Hello Eddi, we enjoyed our (unfortunately only) 8-day stay in the holiday flat Solymar on the Finca Tenerife Romantica very much and would like to thank you once again for the helpfulness and the friendly welcome. A very nice gesture was the extensive welcome gift with fruit, wine and more.
The complex is located in a very well-kept villa area, absolutely quiet and with very lush vegetation. The Solymar flat is very spacious, the bathrooms are well maintained, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, even if you want to cook something more elaborate. By the way, an excellently stocked Mercadona supermarket is just a few minutes' walk away.
The sea view with sunset from the terrace was wonderful every evening, you could even see the Teide from the side.
And then there is the wonderful garden, laid out on different levels, with lots of seating for the guests.
The complex is also a good starting point for excursions in all directions and heights of Tenerife. We can really recommend the finca if you are looking for peace and quiet.

A little paradise

Dear Luci, dear Eddi,
our last days in your little paradise have now begun.
We would like to thank you very much for your cordiality and for a service that leaves nothing to be desired.
We were already very happy when we arrived. There was a dog basket, bowls and wipes ready for our little furry friend Leo. But we were also well taken care of. Bread, butter, sausage, cheese and a bottle of wine to welcome us.
The whole complex is very well maintained and beautifully planted. There is something new to discover everywhere.
We were especially happy about your invitation to eat in a typical Canarian restaurant at an altitude of almost 1000 metres. We had a great afternoon there.
Unfortunately, the 4 weeks have flown by but we console ourselves with the fact that we will certainly come back.

Our favorite winter holiday destination
My wife and I have had three lovely holidays in Tenerife staying at Finca Teneriffa Romantica, and it certainly lives up to it's name. It is an oasis on the edge of the small town of Santa Ursula. The surroundings are very quiet and the apartments are set in lovely gardens overlooking a nature reserve. We have stayed in two different apartments, and loved both. They are well equipped, and cleverly designed so none is overlooked, giving the impression that you have all the gardens to yourself!
In spite of the quiet location, it is ideally located for exploring the island, though you do need a car. The TF-5 north coast highway is less than 2km away, and there are two supermarkets within 1km. Santa Ursula has restaurants etc, and Puerto De La Cruz (the historical port of La Orotava) is only a short drive away.
The owners, Eddi and Luci, are lovely people. Very friendly and helpful, but also discrete. If you want to stay somewhere away from the usual tower-block holiday complexes, then provided you are reasonably fit (steep hills!) this is the place we would recommend.

Beautiful holiday
We had a wonderful holiday at the Finca Romantica.
The directions and telephone arrangements on arrival were super helpful.
The finca is in a quiet, romantic location in the countryside with a view of the sea and the Teide.
We felt very comfortable with you and will certainly spend our holiday with you again.
We have a suggestion for improvement for the large flat, 2 keys would be perfect (because our mother could not make every trip with us)

Dream holiday
Hello Eddi, our weeks on your finca with the large garden and the waterfalls were very nice and we enjoyed the time very much.
The contact with you and Dannie was/is also very nice. The price/performance ratio is really good and the access is also great. The directions to the airport/finca are great and very helpful, as is the arrangement of the rental car. Everything worked out great and once again a big THANK YOU for that.
The landscape of Tenerife is very beautiful and impresses with the contrasts and diversity of barren lunar landscape, the Teide, the Anaga mountains (unfortunately the weather was not so good the last three days, so the Anaga mountains were covered in fog and we didn't see much there...), the Teno mountains to the great coasts and beaches..
What we found a bit unfortunate was that, for example, the Masca Gorge was closed (this was only apparent on site and is described in every travel guide, internet ... as absolutely worth doing and seeing) and also the coastal path from San Pedro to Puerto de la Cruz is partially closed (closed in the middle of the path).
We still have some tips for your guests. Since the Masca Gorge was closed, we did a great hike nearby from El Palmar to Teno Alto. Steep uphill and back via the small mountain village. The hike in the Teide National Park "Roques de Garcia" was also wonderful. Both require sturdy shoes and surefootedness. We also liked the beach "Playa de el Bollullo", (close to your flat). We always ate very well, whether tapas, fish, meat ... it was especially good in "La Bodeguita de Enfrente" and in the pizzeria "El Diablito", both up on the main street.

Again and again with pleasure
We felt very comfortable with you during the 10 weeks. You have a beautiful garden that invites you to linger. Our flat Vistamar was also very tasteful and cosy (except for 1-2 pictures in the living room :-)) forgive me Luci) Your warmth and the family atmosphere on your finca is just great. We received a very nice welcome (with fruit basket and first board) where else can you get something like that. Nice and friendly staff included. Greetings to Dani, unfortunately we couldn't say goodbye to her, and of course the "highlight". Eddi, your fireworks on New Year's Eve were just great. Rarely seen like that. Another highlight was the evening we spent together in the Bodega "Enfrente" and we were invited by Luci and Eddi Super, great. That also speaks for you.
Where else can you experience something like that? Only with Luci and Eddi. So all in all a very nice holiday time with you

Wir hatten einen ruhigen und erholsamen Urlaub.Eure Finca ist sehr schön angelegt und liebevoll gepflegt.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Die abgeschlossene Finca befindet sich in Privatbesitz und liegt in sehr ruhiger Lage.Umgeben von ganz viel Natur und mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf den Atlantik.
free time activities: Auf der Finca selbst befindet sich ein eigener Swimmingpool ohne Lärm.Ein Whirlpool und einige Fitnessgeräte für Sportfreudige sind auch vorhanden.
shopping facilities: Mercadona ist sehr zu empfehlen(alles sehr sauber und ordentlich) und befindet sich nicht weit von der Finca entfernt.Mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen.

Eine nette Überraschung
Wir haben bei Luci und Eddi eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht und gleichzeitig unseren 40. Hochzeitstag gefeiert und genossen. Der Tag begann mit einer netten Überraschung vor der Wohnungstür - vielen Dank Euch dafür - und hatte einen wunderschönen Abschluss in der Bodeguita de Enfrente (...ein guter Tipp von Eddi) bei einem guten Wein und hervorragenden Speisen. Der Urlaub war erholsam, wobei das Ambiente des herrlich angelegten Gartens und die Wohnung einen guten Teil dazu beigetragen haben. Wir kommen deshalb gerne wieder."
