Location and surroundings of object
The holiday flat "Auszeit" is centrally located in the centre of Born. The house was built in 2011 and the holiday flat has been ready since May. Despite the central location, the flat is quiet. The children's playground and the church are in the immediate vicinity. Born is a quiet and idyllic resort located directly on the Bodden. With its thatched houses and extensive buildings, the village has retained its character. Born has various shopping facilities, a petrol station, a post office and sufficient gastronomic offers. To get to the beach, it is best to cycle through the pristine Darß forest to the unspoilt western beach or to drive.

Gem in the Baltic Sea.
We spent two very nice weeks with the Priebe family in Born and I am happy to leave a detailed review here for all the lovely post-holidaymakers.
Landlords: The Priebe family was very friendly, and contact via email as well as on-site ran completely smoothly. They were easy to reach and lived in the house.
Accommodation: The accommodation was spotless and very cozy. The equipment listed here was available and of high quality. Electrical appliances worked perfectly. A small suggestion for improvement on my part. A hand brush/broom, scissors, and a second baking tray would make the equipment perfect. The beds were wide and appealing. Personally, a bit too soft for me, but that is a matter of personal preference. The accommodation has its own parking space and a cozy terrace with seating.
Location: Located in the middle of Born, opposite the village festival meadow. Within walking distance to the Bodden/harbor and the bus stop. Edeka, Aldi, Shell, and Stolz are maybe a 5-minute drive away by car. Restaurants are also within walking distance. The 210 bus runs somewhat irregularly from the bus stop across the island to Barth or Ribnitz Damgarten and covers all localities. The bus line sometimes has a bike trailer. Lots of nature and close to the Darßer Wald. Attention!! Mosquito plague. So, make sure to apply insect repellent. :-D

Vicinity of the holiday home: Ruhige, idyllische Lage. Kleiner gemütlicher Ort. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe. Zentrale Lage auf dem Darß. Nachbarorte und Strände super mit dem Fahrrad und dem Auto zu erreichen.
free time activities: Optimal für Fahrradtouren und Wanderungen. Surfschule in der Nähe. Neuer Klettergarten im Ort. Rostock und Stralsund als Tagesausflüge (ca. 1 Fahrstde.) möglich. Grillen auf der eigenen Terrasse (Grill vorhanden)
