You want a holiday in nature and peace with access to many hiking and excursion opportunities?
Then you are in the right place.
Please note: Minimum rental period at Easter, Christmas, and New Year's Eve is 6 nights.
The holiday home, renovated in 2022 on the ground floor, 4* DTV, has enough space for 6 people plus 2 small children. In the separate, comfortably furnished kitchen you can feel at home. In the adjoining living-dining area there are 2 sofas, a 42-inch satellite TV, and a large dining table for up to 6 people/children.
The two bedrooms with double beds and wardrobes are large enough for an extra bed for a child; one room is equipped with satellite TV. The children's room has a bunk bed, toys, and a lockable window. Two new bathrooms with toilet and shower, as well as a daylight bathroom with bathtub, are available. A large patio door leads from the living room to the veranda, which is connected by three steps to the terrace and bicycle shed in the sunny garden. Child-friendly laminate, cork, or vinyl flooring is laid in all rooms. A washing machine and a foosball table are located in the basement.
You can store your bicycles in the lockable shed. There you will also find
a grill and grill utensils, chairs and a table for outside.
A safety gate for the top of the stairs can be installed.

The holiday home with garden with sun until the evening is in a quiet dead end close to the park of Gemünd. The National park \"Eifel\" with lots of hiking and biking trails (Eifelsteig and Wildnis Trail) is only 200 m away. The city Schleiden/Gemünd is a well known spa town in the Eifel. It\'s a wonderful place in the valley called \"Urfttal\" and is situated on the east of the forest of the Kermeter. In the north of Gemünd you find the plateau of Dreiborn. Dreiborn with its 4100 inhabitants is the biggest part of the town of Schleiden.
All these who are interested in pure nature will be happy to find a variety of free offers in the tourist centre \"Nationalparktor Gemünd\" (only 5 min walk). To do the daily shopping or to find a restaurant you will have only 10 minutes to go. The pedastrian zone of Gemünd invites you for shopping and resting. There are ice-cafés, cafés and restaurants. Most of the sights and attractions can be reached by bike or by car within short time.

The open-air museum in Kommern, mines, hot spring baths, nice Eifel-cities like Monschau Eifel, Blankenheim or Bad Münstereifel are only some of the nice places you should visit during your stay.
The landscape \"Ardennes\" (Belgium) and the beech forests are worth to walk through. In Einruhr you will find the boats of the Rurseeschifffahrt which offer trips on the lakes of Rureifel.
The Ordensburg Vogelsang and the wild animal park in Hellenthal are also worth to visit.
You will find also big cities like Cologne and Aachen as well as the fun park \"Phantasialand\" in a surrounding of not more than 60 km

Beautiful Easter holiday week in the Eifel
We spent a wonderful Easter holiday week in Gemünd with our 7-year-old granddaughter. The house, located directly by the Urft and also right by the spa park, is modernly furnished and flooded with light. From this location, there are many interesting things to discover within a radius of 20-25 kilometers. Of course, the surroundings invite you to hike. The dams and many beautiful villages, where there is delicious ice cream, also invite you to explore. Our granddaughter didn't want to go home at all, and we would book this beautiful house again anytime. Thank you, Töpler family!

Schönes Häuschen für Wanderer
Das Haus ist vollständig eingerichtet, mit wunderschönem, zugewachsenem kleinem Garten, die Lage ist perfekt für Wanderungen oder andere Ausflüge. Buchung und weitere Abwicklung klappten problemlos, wir wurden von der Vermieterin sehr nett empfangen, auch im Weiteren war die Kommunikation unkompliziert. Die Lage ist relativ ruhig in einer Sackgasse und direkt angrenzend an den Kurpark.

Beautiful house in a quiet location
We spent 5 very nice days at "Ferienhaus am Park" with 3 people.
We didn't miss anything, a great, sparkling clean house in a quiet location right by the park.
We felt well taken care of all around, thank you very much dear Mrs. Töpler, we will gladly come back.

Great house, great location
Lovely house, which has been recently renovated following the 2021 flooding. The house was very well equipped, clean and spacious. The location is great, on a quiet road just across from the river, with a lovely river path walk into town, and access from the doorstep to woodland paths and walks. The owner was very friendly and helpful, with WhatsApp communication during our stay.
The town was still not fully open following the floods when we visited, but it was still a very nice place to visit, with shops and restaurants, and good bus links to neighbouring towns. 10 mins bus ride to Kall, where you can get the train to Köln and Bonn. We came as a base to get to Spa in Belgium for the Grand Prix (1 hour away by car), but the region itself is worth a visit - the Eifel National Park is beautiful!

We are a family with two children. Our home is 14 km away, but we still appreciate Gemünd with its many advantages and are happy to be able to show others this beautiful place. Gemünd is a nice place, there is a lot to discover for visitors and tourists. The quiet and idyllic location of the house in Gemünd is priceless. The excursion possibilities are so varied that we have not yet used them all ourselves.
