Here, 60 m² of living space await you with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, offering ample room for families or friends. The house is located in a quiet bungalow park with its own parking space right at the door. Enjoy relaxing hours in the well-kept garden or on the terrace, where a BBQ grill is ready for sociable barbecue evenings.
The garden is fenced, so you can let your dogs run freely.
The open kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, mini oven, gas stove, kettle, and two coffee machines (filter/pads) – everything you need to prepare your favorite dishes. In the living area, you will find comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV for cozy evenings. Of course, free Wi-Fi is available to you. A washing machine ensures that you always have fresh clothes, even during longer stays.
For families with small children, a travel cot is available. The house is suitable for non-smokers only, so you can relax in a pleasant atmosphere. The proximity to the fine sandy beach and the expansive dunes invites you to take long walks and relax in nature. St. Maartenszee: located directly at the dunes and the wide beach. The footpath is about 1 km and can also be used by bicycle. In the high season, a small beach train also runs between the beach and the dune entrance.
The village consists of a few farms and several bungalow parks. There are two small supermarkets for daily needs, open from the Easter to the autumn holidays (NRW). The place is situated among numerous flower fields that shine wonderfully in all colors in spring.
All around St. Maartenszee there are numerous smaller villages as well as larger towns that are worth a visit.
Petten is located 3 km south of St. Maartenszee and offers two small cafés, a bicycle shop, and a small supermarket.
Callantsoog is about 6 km north of St. Maartenszee and offers a quiet shopping area in the center of town. There is also a larger supermarket here that is open all year round.
Further north, inland, lies the small town of Schagen. Here, in addition to an extensive shopping area, there is a regular weekly market with a parade of citizens in historical clothing (see photo).
Even further north, about 20 km away, the tip of North Holland ends in the port city of Den Helder. Here there is a naval museum and from here you can take the ferry to Texel. Further south, the city of Alkmaar offers, in addition to the famous cheese market and canal tours, other sights.
Anyone willing to accept a longer journey absolutely must go to Amsterdam. There are countless possibilities there, which we cannot all list here. Just this much: canal tours, Rijksmuseum, Maritime Museum, Anne Frank House, Madame Tussaud’s wax figures. . . .
