The house, the apartment is well connected for shopping, Scarlino Scalo for bakeries and household goods, Follonica for extended shopping, a Lidl. Very close to the house are excellent restaurants, such as La Foresteria or La Braccata, country restaurants that are outstanding. Sights
The immediate area offers towns such as Massa Marittima, Suvereto, or Roccatederighi, as well as the seaside resort Castiglion della Pescaglia and many others that are farther away, such as Talamone or Scansano.
Seaside resorts north of Follonica are plentiful, such as Rio Torto, Torre Mozza, or Baratti Bay with the Etruscan site Populonia hovering above on a cliff.
South of Follonica is the sailing resort Punta Ala with a golf course and a very good restaurant. There is another very beautiful golf course "Pelagone", in the immediate vicinity of Follonica direction Gavoranno.
