You can just as quickly reach the Hohwachter Bay and the Baltic Sea resort of Grömitz. Neustadt, with its large marina, brewery, and fishing harbor, can be reached by car in twenty minutes, Lübeck in thirty-five minutes. The amusement park 'Hansa Park' is located nearby in Sierksdorf.
