Description

Our small, enchanted, thatched Lütt Hus stands in the second row near the water. On the narrow path beside the property, it is about a hundred steps to the shore with a bench and jetty. Peaceful vacation days, breakfast on the sunny terrace, enjoy the carefree feeling of a spring or summer day on the lounger in the garden.
Rural charm, maritime finds, the many pictures and books give the holiday home a special, cozy atmosphere. In the living room, your gaze sweeps far across the water through the large window. If you open the window, you can hear the rustling of the reeds in the wind. Make yourself comfortable in the wing chair or on the sofa for reading, playing, or chatting.
Let the day end in the cozily furnished, well-equipped kitchen-living room at the beautiful old dining table with a glass of wine and a delicious meal after a walk on the beach or a bike tour. The peace in little Born, a good bed ensure a restful sleep.

Location and surroundings of object

It is only a few steps to the water of the Bodden along the small path next to the property from the Lütt Hus. A bench and a jetty invite you to linger. The Darß offers much variety: the kilometer-long sandy beaches, the many small harbors on the Bodden coast, the towns of Ahrenshoop with art museum, painting schools, galleries, potteries, the seaside resorts of Prerow and Zingst with small shops, restaurants, cafés. Born, the romantic former fishing village, lies directly on the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park. With its small thatched houses with colorful front doors and its traditional village structure, it has preserved its original charm. Traditionally, you ride a bicycle through the Darß Forest on the edge of the village to the rustic West Beach of the Baltic Sea. But the Baltic Sea beaches are also quickly accessible by car. In the village you have a supermarket, bakery, restaurants, and a fish snack bar at the harbor for shopping. . . Wonderful cycling and hiking trails lead along the Bodden, the Baltic Sea coast, and through the Darß forest.

Highly recommended

Ideal for 2 people who love peace and nature. Central starting point for bike tours on the Darß. Beach walks at the rustic West Beach, shopping in Ahrenshoop, a visit to the new pier in Prerow, and much more make a stay delightful. We would love to come back.
