Juul is an apartment in the Strandslag residential complex. It is located on the top floor and was renovated in March 2026. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is provided! The beautiful beach is 750 meters away, either on foot or by bike. It faces south and offers a fantastic view of the dunes and the flower fields.
At any time of year, you can enjoy a day at the beach!
The apartment:
Upon entering, you will find the bathroom on the right and then the bedroom. Turn left through the kitchen into the living area.
The living area has a dining table with 4 chairs, a seating area with 2 comfortable chairs, and the (sofa) bed. The sofa in sleeping position is 140x200 cm in size. On the sofa you will find the mattress topper and two pillows. Of course, there is also a large TV (with about 300 channels), books, and games in the seating area. A locker cabinet and an oak sideboard offer plenty of storage space. On the sideboard there is also a coffee corner with a coffee machine (filter) and a kettle. Everything is there for the first round of coffee or tea upon arrival. The two balcony doors in the living room open inwards and offer the best view of the surroundings!
The kitchen has an electric stove with four hotplates, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a small oven. Juicer and toaster as well as all dining utensils make this kitchen well equipped. In the kitchen, there is also the cupboard with the central heating boiler. Here you will find the vacuum cleaner and cleaning products as well as a fire extinguisher and a blanket.
The bathroom has a toilet, a washbasin with illuminated mirror, and a shower cabin with rain shower and seat. Hairdryer, toilet paper, shampoo, and shower gel are provided. There is also a large and a small towel that each guest can use. The bedroom has 2 single beds (80x200) and is equipped as standard with 2 single beds. There are also two wardrobes here (one with a hanging section) where you can store clothes.

Strandloft Juul is located in the far north of the beautiful province of Noord-Holland, in the lovely town of Julianadorp aan Zee, near the coastal town of Den Helder. An excellent place to enjoy the sea and the beach, of course, but also the vast meadows, the flower fields (in spring), forests, and dunes. Everything is in the immediate vicinity and invites you to enjoy it to the fullest. And only 10 kilometers from beautiful Texel – it is something very special to spend a day on this wonderful Wadden Island!
In just about 15 minutes by car you reach the cozy town of Schagen, where a large market takes place every Thursday. In the high season there are the West Frisian Thursdays, during which a parade of horse-drawn carriages and people in traditional costumes makes you feel transported back to bygone times. Alkmaar (35 km) also has much to offer, including the famous cheese market on Fridays, the beautiful Waagplein and Waaggebouw (where cheese used to be weighed and sold), the canals, many shops and boutiques.
Closer by, in Den Helder, the Juttersmarkt takes place on Tuesdays, a flea market in the Donkere Duinen, the old Rijkswerf Willemsoord and Fort Kijkduin as well as the National Rescue Museum. There is also much for children to experience nearby: the climbing paradise De Helderse Vallei (indoor and outdoor climbing courses) and mudflat walks at ’t Kuitje.
From May until the end of August 2026, Julianadorp will be transformed into an open-air gallery of sand. Impressive sand sculptures will stand at four special locations in the village. Each artwork tells a story: about life by the sea, tulip fields, the royal family, or the carefree freedom of a timeless day at the beach. Beach: 750 m
