Brand new luxury bungalow in an absolute prime location – directly on the dunes, just a few steps from the beach and the lively center of Callantsoog – with a sunny, quiet garden to arrive and immediately enjoy.
During the period from April through October we rent only per week, from Saturday to Saturday. The Verkenner is a spectacular newly built luxury bungalow, located in a quiet side street at the foot of the dunes in Callantsoog, a short walking distance from the beach and the village center. The bungalow has been realized with great care and craftsmanship, using sustainable and high-quality materials.
The bright living room exudes tranquility and comfort. An atmospheric wooden wall in combination with a modern cast floor provides an elegant and relaxed appearance. Adjacent are the dining area and the open, fully equipped kitchen.
The bungalow has two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and television, and a modern, spacious bathroom with a comfortable shower.
The sunny south-facing garden invites you to relax. The illuminated canopy also provides a pleasant atmosphere in the evening hours. The exterior facade is finished with stainless steel standing seam profiles in various widths, which further emphasizes the high-quality and modern character of the bungalow.
The bungalow is accessible via a lockable outdoor area, which is also ideal for storing bicycles or a handcart.
De Verkenner is a stylish and tranquil holiday accommodation for guests who value comfort, high-quality materials, and a relaxed atmosphere, with the beach and town center just a few minutes’ walk away.

The charming center of Callantsoog is a short walk away and offers a varied selection of shops, cafés, and restaurants. In the immediate vicinity lies the protected nature reserve Het Zwanenwater, which is known for its varied landscape of water, beach, forest, and dunes.
De Verkenner is also very conveniently located for day trips. Destinations such as Texel, Den Helder, Alkmaar, Hoorn, Schagen, and Amsterdam are easily accessible.

The new holiday bungalow is the perfect place to relax close to the village and the beach. The apartment is indeed as beautiful and thoughtfully furnished as the photos promise - you arrive and feel at home right away! The walk to the beach via the nearby beach access takes only 5 minutes, and it takes the same amount of time to reach the town center. The landlord is very nice, and we will come back! An absolute recommendation from us for this great accommodation!!!
