High dunes separate the village from the wonderful beach. For years there blows the Blue Flag, a hallmark of the European Union for clean and safe beaches. Two beach pavilions, one of which is home to a beach restaurant are open all year round, so you can warm up after a fresh walk on the beach with a cup of hot chocolate. From April to October a total of 5 beach pavilions are open.
In summer the beautiful white sandy beach waiting for the many visitors. Also for lovers of naturism, there is room, just south of the beach access Kieftegglop is the first official nude beach in the Netherlands. Unique is the location of the bustling village center just behind the dune.
In the center there is the museum farm "Aunt Jaantje", which is open during the months of May to September.

Just south is found in the dunes of this unique nature reserve. The flora and fauna are invaluable and unique in the Netherlands. It can be found here very rare plants. Two beach lakes form a source of food for many birds that find a nesting place here. Callantsoog is a very pleasant holiday seaside village in North Holland. One of the oldest and prettiest resorts in the country with a cozy center. There are many small shops, cafes and restaurants. Most shops are open all year round on Sunday, so there prevails throughout the year a lively atmosphere.

Callantsoog is a beautiful seaside resort, located on the North Sea. Callantsoog has very beautiful beaches. The lively center is located right behind the dunes. Just a few minutes' walk from Previnaireweg, you can find the village center and the beach with beach pavilions. Very nice for combining shopping with a lunch at one of the restaurants. Nearby Callantsoog are the beautiful coastal towns of Julianadorp aan Zee, Groote Keeten, Schoorl, and Bergen aan Zee. Please pay attention to the price calculation for vacation home rentals, as it can be incorrect for stays of more than 7 nights. The prices for weekends, midweek, and weeks are calculated correctly. For stays of 10 or 11 nights, the price is not divided and multiplied by the nights of the weekly rate but is always calculated from the weekly rate plus the midweek or weekend rate.
