The quiet and clean (blue flag) sandy beaches are located 800 meters from our house. These beaches are quiet even in the high season and during that period, if you go by car, you can easily park. The beaches are safe for children because the water gradually gets deeper here.
The surroundings of Denia have a lot to offer. From historical sights to breathtaking nature and from authentic restaurants to wonderful beaches and sheltered bays, there is so much to discover and experience near Villa Sol y Mar. Valencia and Alicante are also easily accessible from here. Did you know, by the way, that the Costa Blanca has the healthiest climate in the world according to the World Health Organization (WHO)? Enjoy this climate and the beautiful natural and green surroundings by walking in the nearby nature reserves or relaxing on the golden beaches of Denia. For the adventurous types, there are various water sports activities available, and for those who love shopping, movies, or food, the largest shopping center of the Costa Blanca (Portal de la Marina, Ondara) is about a five-minute drive away. In the area you will find, among other things, the lovely town of Javea, which is also called the "Ibiza of the mainland," with a lively boulevard and trendy beach bars. Moraira, Calpe, Altea, and Benidorm are also definitely worth a visit. Denia itself has a pleasant center where you can take a leisurely evening stroll along the boulevard by the harbor, where there is a tourist market every evening. Or you can enjoy delicious food at one of the stalls in the street food market or at the cozy harbor by the water.
El Verger itself is a small and charming town located next to Denia.
