– your retreat for unforgettable vacation days!
A living kitchen of 50m² and the house in total 120 m² for 2 people up to 6 [8] people.
This house is ready to move in, from made beds, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, toilet paper to garbage bags.
You don't need to bring anything else for the house.
RIET 159 directly on the water. is located at Veense Put, Veen. With panoramic views over the water and there is a large conservatory with a view.
A completely private family holiday home, for 2 people or with your family or with guests up to 6 [8] people:
Behind the large yellow doors lies a big surprise.
A small courtyard with the family holiday home "Riet 159", directly on the water.
+ covered terrace and on the other side is a panoramic view + multiple terraces. The holiday home is a water villa and has a magnificent view over the water!
With a very large living room of 50 square meters!
There are several terraces on different levels and a covered terrace.
The terraces and the large living room have a panoramic view over the water.
It is a lake that was created by sand excavation and is connected to the river: The Afgedamde Maas.
The very large living room has underfloor heating and a large pellet stove. In the spacious hall there is an infrared sauna, 2 washing machines + 2 dryers.
The house has 3 bedrooms.
Downstairs there is 1 bedroom with a double bed,
separate toilet and 1 bathroom with shower and large bath.
Upstairs 2 very spacious bedrooms: 1 with 2 beds and 1 family bedroom with 4 beds.
At the house there are 2 canoes and a floating jetty with swimming ladder.
You can fish and swim there.
And it is possible to bring your own paddle board or boat. This house is atmospheric and therefore very suitable for Christmas and New Year's Eve.
The house is also wonderful for 2 people.
But also with family or friends, up to 6/8 people.
Also suitable if you want to receive your friends or your children for a few nights.
In the summer: this house is rented between April 1 and October 1 per week and the changeover day is Friday.
Also in the summer: Last-minute; from 3 nights: please request separately.
In autumn, winter and spring: also from 3 nights. This house is very suitable for renting out for longer periods.
We ourselves also really enjoy coming to this family holiday home,
because from every window in the living room you have a beautiful view over the Veense Put.
With all the movement of the water birds and a spectacular view of the rising sun every morning.
The terraces face east, south, and west.
In winter it is also cozy inside with the fire in the large pellet stove. At Christmas, the house can, upon request, be decorated with a small Christmas atmosphere and Christmas lights.
After using the infrared sauna, you can swim or relax on the 2 loungers or on the outdoor lounge set.
The terraces and the bank behind the house are not fenced!
At the front, the small courtyard is enclosed and the covered terrace can be closed off.
You can eat outside here very early in the year. For cooking enthusiasts, there is an excellently equipped kitchen with all modern conveniences.
The kitchen is fully equipped and very well stocked.
With combi-oven + microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, kettle, and 3 coffee makers.
Mixer, slow cooker as well as sufficient tableware. You can set the long table beautifully!
Enjoy relaxing hours by the fireplace or end the day on the terrace with a view of the water. The well-kept garden invites you to stay, while the BBQ grill provides for cozy evenings.
For relaxation, the sauna is at your disposal, and on warm days the water offers refreshing coolness.
A canoe awaits adventurous trips directly from the property.
Washing machine, dryer, iron and vacuum cleaner make longer stays easier.
For families, there is a cot, a baby bath and a high chair available.
The house is move-in ready, the beds are made. Towels, tea towel, kitchen towels are ready.
And everything you need is prepared.

The parking space is next to the house,
Wifi is now separate because we cannot give a discount on it here and is €2 per night.
The house can also be reserved for longer stays.
And dogs are only allowed on request!
And upon departure there must be no sign that a dog has been present. Additional costs will be charged.
Dogs may not be left alone in the house.
Dogs may not cause any nuisance and must be kept on a leash on the property.
And can be walked at the end of the road.
Everything the dog leaves behind must be taken with you in a sealed plastic bag.

This real holiday home is located directly on the water.
On the Veense Put, which is a large sand excavation next to the side river of the Maas.
The water of the Maas flows through the nature reserve De Biesbosch to the North Sea.
It is a connection with the Maas and the Waal.
It is a rain-fed river, so the water level is different every time.
Walk through the many old fortified towns,
Visit the castles: such as Loevestein and the fortified towns Den Bosch, Gorkum, Heusden. Just a 20-minute drive away is one of the largest amusement parks in Europe, the Efteling.
You will receive extensive tourist information from us.
Beautiful area with many vistas for cycling.
Bicycles for rent in Wijk and Aalburg.

This house is ready to move in.
Beds are made and towels are ready. You do not need to bring anything; everything is ready, from kitchen roll, toilet paper to garbage bags.

* The energy will be calculated afterwards and deducted from the deposit at standard rates,
* The tourist tax is €1.50 per person per night.
The deposit will be refunded after 14 days.

You then have time to pay.
The rent can be paid in 2 parts,

and the rest of the rent 8 weeks before arrival.

But sometimes this number does not answer. That can happen!
These people may be working or driving their car and then do not answer their phone. You do not need to wait, you may call the other number right away.
WASTE:
The waste container is emptied every 14 days: on Thursday.
The container must be placed outside on Wednesday at the small roundabout at the end of the road.
The rental of the waste container is expensive.
That is why 2 holiday homes share 1 waste container.
When both houses are occupied, this is far too little!
That is why we ask you to separate the waste properly.
Because we can take plastic waste ourselves, but not the residual waste. First fill the container with residual waste and then fill the container with plastic waste.
The waste will be separated later in a factory.
If you still have garbage bags left:
Hang those bags on the nails by the parking lot.
Do not put bags on the ground as that attracts vermin.
Return empty bottles and cans to the store or to the bottle bank.
Glass waste and paper waste containers are located opposite the supermarket JUMBO,
in the parking lot by the football fields.

Sometimes it is possible to arrive earlier when no guests have departed.
Please let us know your expected arrival time: then we will know approximately when you will arrive.
Call us when you have arrived at the large parking lot.
There we will help you with the barrier pass.
After that, you drive to the house.
There you call again and we will help you with the house key.
After booking, you will receive the information about the house and the tourist information again.
Departure 11 o’clock. Sometimes you can leave much later when no guests are arriving after you.
Please leave everything you have used tidy and clean upon departure.
