A living kitchen of 50m².
This house is very suitable for 2 people or with family up to 6 [8] people. Behind the large yellow doors lies a big surprise. A small courtyard with the family holiday home “Riet 159”, right on the water.
+ covered terrace and on the other side a panoramic view + several terraces.
The terraces are all on different levels.

Has a beautiful view over the water, also from the living room and conservatory. From the terraces and the large living room, there is a panoramic view over the water. This is a large old sand pit, which is connected to the river.
The Maas is a rain-fed river with varying water levels.
And the river is in open connection with the sea.
As a result, even here far inland there is a difference between ebb and flood.
The very large living room has underfloor heating and a large pellet stove. In the spacious hallway there is an infrared sauna, 2 washing machines + 2 dryers.
The house has 3 bedrooms. Downstairs there is 1 bedroom with a double bed,
separate toilet and 1 bathroom with shower and large bathtub.
Upstairs 2 very spacious bedrooms: 1 with 2 beds and 1 family bedroom with 4 beds.
At the house there are 2 canoes and a floating dock with a bathing ladder.
You can fish and swim there. It is also possible to bring your own SUP board or boat.
The house is wonderful for 2 people – bedroom downstairs!
But also with family or friends, up to 6/8 people. Also suitable if you want your friends or children to stay overnight.
The living room is atmospheric and spacious, therefore very suitable for Christmas and New Year's Eve.
This house is managed and maintained by retirees.
Who themselves also very much enjoy using this holiday home. And this family holiday home is ready to move into.
Rental is weekly in summer and the changeover day is Friday.

This house is very suitable for renting for longer periods. From every window in the living room you have a beautiful view over the Veense Put.
You often see large groups of water birds and every morning a spectacular sunrise.
There are terraces to the east, south, and west. In winter, it is also cozy inside with the fire in the large pellet stove.
At Christmas, the house can be decorated with a little Christmas spirit and Christmas lights upon request.
After using the infrared sauna, you can swim or relax outside on the 2 loungers or the lounge set. The terraces and the shore behind the house are not fenced!
At the front, the small courtyard is enclosed and the covered terrace can be locked. Here you can eat outside very early in the year.
For cooking enthusiasts, there is an excellently equipped kitchen with all modern conveniences.
The kitchen is fully equipped and very well stocked.
With combination oven + microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, kettle, and 3 x coffee machines. Blender, slow cooker, as well as plenty of dishes. You can set the long table beautifully! Enjoy relaxing hours by the fireplace
or end the day on the terrace with a view of the water.
In the garden or on the terrace, the grill provides sociable hours and beautiful summer evenings.
For relaxation, there is an infrared sauna and a large bathtub.
On warm days, the open water offers refreshing cooling.
A canoe awaits adventurous tours directly from the property. The house is ready to move in + the beds are made. Towels, dish towel, kitchen towels are ready.
And everything you need is provided.

This genuine holiday home is located directly by the water.
On the Veense Put, this is a large sand excavation next to the tributary of the Maas.
The water of the Maas flows through the nature reserve De Biesbosch to the North Sea.
There is a connection with the Maas and the Waal.
It is a rain-fed river, so the water level is different every time. Stroll through the many old fortified towns,
Visit the castles: such as Loevestein and the fortified towns Den Bosch, Gorkum, Heusden. Only 20 minutes away by car is one of the largest amusement parks in Europe, the Efteling.
You must reserve for this in advance.

Beautiful area with many views for cycling. Bicycles can be rented in Wijk and Aalburg and delivered upon request.

* The energy will be calculated afterwards and settled with the deposit at standard rates.

The rental of the waste container is expensive.
That is why 2 holiday homes, HOME 258 and RIET 159, share 1 waste container.
When both houses are occupied, this is far too little!
The waste container is emptied every 14 days: on Thursday.
The container must be put outside by the guests on Wednesday
at the small roundabout at the end of the road.
We ask that you separate the waste very carefully.
Because we can take plastic waste ourselves, but not the residual waste. First fill the container with residual waste
and then fill the container with plastic waste.
All waste may go in the container.
The waste will be separated later in a factory.
If you still have garbage bags left:
Hang those bags on the nails by the parking lot.
Do not place bags on the ground, as that attracts vermin.
Return empty bottles and cans to the store or to the bottle bank.
Glass waste and paper waste containers are located opposite the supermarket JUMBO,

For quickly heating the house, it is best to use the pellet stove
Because there is underfloor heating. And that takes a very long time.
Let us know how many bags you use.
There is a large supply at the house.
If you use the BBQ, a new BBQ rack is ready for each rental.
If you use the canoes: after use, place them on the dock.
Paddle boards are easier and more fun: they are €140 each and available at LIDL or Action. You will receive the information about the house and the tourist information again after booking.
Departure at 11 o’clock.
Sometimes you can leave later if there are no guests arriving that same day.
If you wish this, please ask in advance.
Can you let us know in advance when you are leaving:
Then we can go to the house and use the barrier pass.
We ask, because we work with many volunteers; please write something in the house’s notebook. Please tidy up and leave everything you have used clean upon departure.
All garden cushions should be placed on the dryers, on the sauna, or in the cushion cabinet on the terrace.
At the end: just before departure<
* Please collect all laundry so that nothing unnecessary needs to be washed,
and strip the beds that have been used.
* Put the towels in the washing machine and wash at 60 degrees.
Then the washing machine will be ready when we arrive and we will put the laundry in the dryer. * Set the central heating back to 6 degrees so that the heating does not turn on anymore.
* Leave the refrigerator on.
* Turn off all the lights and close the windows.
