Great holiday week in Etten-Leur (NL North Brabant)..

Had a really beautiful week in Etten-Leur (near Breda). The hosts, the house, the area were top-notch. With the 2 e-bikes (belonging to the apartment), we could take nice bike tours through rural areas with small farming towns. The basilica of Oudenbosch (a small replica of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome) is highly recommended, about 20 km round trip. Also nice were the free-range chickens in the garden (droppings... chicken... ) which were disposed of every day. Shopping opportunities and restaurants are within walking distance. It was a lovely 7 days.

Great guest house with cozy rooms and a beautiful garden.

Wendy and Dennis were super nice hosts who provided their guests with tips for excursions and restaurant visits and with whom we could always have a nice chat, whether in German or English. A great service were the electric bikes that are directly available. The house is lovingly furnished and we immediately felt at home. Everything you need is available with a great eye for detail. You shouldn't miss a visit to the chickens. In case of bad weather, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the area, for example, a trip to Antwerp or Breda. Special greetings to Joep, the house dog.

We had a wonderful time here, unfortunately the weather wasn't so nice, but in Germany it wasn't any better at that time. The house is located in a beautiful moat area and has great amenities. The landlords Dennis and Wendy are very nice people and very concerned about their guests. We would always choose this house again if we were in this region. Greetings, Helmut and Thekla.
