Welcome to Gut Neuhof in Oederquart, your holiday residence in the north of Kehdingen. The spacious holiday apartment, furnished in an eclectic style, offers 170 m² of space for up to 4 guests and impresses with its lovingly decorated interior, untreated wooden beams and ceilings, tranquility, and rural surroundings. Enjoy relaxing hours in the expansive garden, on the terrace, in a deck chair or a hammock under old trees, or in the company of chickens. A grill and fire basket are available for sociable evenings.
Through the spacious entrance area on the ground floor, a staircase leads to the open living, kitchen, and dining area on the first floor. From the adjoining hallway, you reach the two bedrooms: a large bedroom with a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and TV, and a smaller bedroom with a double bed (1.40 x 2.00 m) and with a window-like, closable, window-like opening to the living area. Due to the location of the apartment in the barn, there is no daylight in the larger room, but both rooms have windows facing the stable building for ventilation. Opposite the bedrooms are the bathrooms: one with a large shower and toilet, the other with a bathtub and toilet. In the colder season, a wood-burning stove provides coziness, and for entertainment there are games, books, and magazines. The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired: induction stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee machine, coffee pod machine, milk frother, electric kettle, toaster, egg cooker, blender, and all dishes are available. Bed linen and towels are included. A washing machine, a foosball table, and a table tennis table are located in the stable building in front of the apartment. There is a dedicated parking space for your vehicle, as well as a wallbox for charging electric cars. Relax in the comfortably furnished living area with TV and Wi-Fi. The apartment is a non-smoking area and is ideal for vacationers and tradespeople who value comfort and peace. Let your soul unwind amidst well-kept gardens, blooming flowerbeds, and expansive meadows – Gut Neuhof is the perfect retreat for your getaway in the North! For safety reasons, both in the apartment and on the property, e.g. unsecured staircase to the living area, water-filled ditches at the property boundaries, visits from children only make sense from the age of 6.
The free-roaming chickens, roosters, and cats complete the rural character of the holiday home, but are also the reason why dogs must remain on a leash on the property. Covered parking spaces with wall boxes and storage options for bicycles are sufficiently available at the house.

Between the Oste and Elbe rivers lies the idyllic and relaxing village of Oederquart in the beautiful Kehdinger Land, an agricultural area full of nature.
The holiday apartment is located on a 12,300 sqm property, in a quiet, secluded rear location in the largest barn of the former apple farm, with a view over the surrounding fields and neighboring the manor house. It is the starting point for many excursions and bike tours, e.g. the forest area Wingst with play and climbing park, indoor and outdoor pool and forest zoo, or Krautsand with beautiful sandy beach, the natural outdoor pool Krummendeich, Balje lighthouse, suspension ferry, Natureum, Otterndorf with beautiful old town, brine thermal baths and play and fun barn, water ski facility in Neuhaus, ferry to Schleswig Holstein and much more. There are opportunities to explore the rivers Elbe, Oste, and Medem with excursion boats, to paddle on some rivers, to experience the moor with the Moorkieker, or to fish in canals and ponds.
The Altes Land, Stade, Hamburg and Cuxhaven (ferry to Helgoland), and Bremerhaven are further interesting destinations.
Shopping facilities and cafés can be found in the nearby towns of Freiburg and Wischhafen. A restaurant is located in the center of the village.

Hi, my name is Laura and I am 41 years old. I come from the Ruhr area and have been living at Gut Neuhof with my boyfriend and my parents since 2015. Since December 2024, we have been renting out the holiday apartment. Since my boyfriend Daniel and I are working, my parents, Monika (66) and Klaus (72), will mostly take care of the needs of the holiday guests.
