A warm welcome to our dog-friendly holiday home in Garbek!
We warmly welcome you to our small but charming holiday home in beautiful Garbek. Feel free to take a look at the pictures – the house invites you to relax, feel at home, and enjoy yourself.
Our holiday home is dog-friendly – you and your four-legged friends are warmly welcome here! Your dog lacks nothing: the fenced garden offers plenty of space to romp, and the dog beach in Haffkrug can be reached in just about 20 minutes by car – perfect for joint trips to the sea.
The house is designed for 1 to 5 people and up to 4 dogs.

Kitchen, living area, terrace, garden, beach chair. Two bedrooms are located on the first floor and are accessible via a wooden staircase.
The third bedroom is directly under the roof and can be reached via a somewhat steeper staircase.
The bedroom on the first floor offers direct access to the bathroom and has a walk-in closet.
From the living area, you have direct access to the covered terrace and the small, well-kept garden, which invites you to relax and linger. The garden is fully fenced, and a seating area as well as a charcoal grill are also available for your use.
In the modern, well-equipped kitchen you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay:
A refrigerator with freezer compartment, fully automatic coffee machine, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, microwave, milk frother, and a SodaStream with glass bottles ensure maximum comfort and flexibility. Location and surroundings of object
Garbek is located on the edge of Holstein Switzerland,
between Bad Segeberg (Karl May Festival), Scharbeutz, Lübeck, and Plön.
The village shop with bread rolls and regional products is only a few steps away and is also open on Sundays.
Riding opportunities for children are available in the village.
The distance to the Baltic Sea is about 20 minutes by car, but it can also be reached by bicycle on well-developed paths. The bicycles you need for this are provided to you free of charge (2 pieces), so you can find your way directly to the land and its people!
You don’t have to miss out on golf; the 18-hole golf course in Wensin is located about 1 km from our house.
Bad Segeberg, known for the Karl May Festival, is only a few minutes away by car, as are Plön Castle and the Holsten Gate in Lübeck.
The “HANSA-PARK” amusement park is also only 35 minutes from our house. No northern German holiday region is better suited for exploring nature on foot or by bike. Many lush green deciduous forests, reed beds, lakeshores, gently rolling meadows, manor houses, farming villages, and small old towns add variety to the landscape. The white-tailed eagle feels just as much at home here as grazing wildlife or leaping fish.

Beautiful holiday home
We were at the Stahl holiday home for the second time, nothing is missing, it is very clean and lovingly furnished, the landlords Jessica and Dirk are warm and accommodating—wonderful people. The dogs are also very welcome with bowls, dog blankets, and homemade cookies. Dog handlers and dogs immediately feel at home. One or another barking attack is tolerated with a smile and understanding. The right place to relax, unwind, put your feet up, and take dog walks. Wonderful

For years, I have been repeatedly delighted by the great furnishings and cleanliness of the holiday home and the warm friendliness of the hosts.
A huge, incredibly comfortable bed, a large smart TV, many incredibly thoughtful details (such as). a stair lighting triggered by a motion detector at the step edges), underfloor heating and Bluetooth speakers in the bathroom, fenced garden for the dog, well-equipped kitchen with everything you need, a small village shop right next door, and great excursion destinations in the nearby area.

A dream of a vacation home and the landlords are unbeatable.
The holiday home is located in a pretty village, the surroundings are very nice for both people and dogs. We always enjoy coming back to the Stahl family, because they are such wonderful people, we are happy to know them both.

Holiday home with charm and heart
We had a wonderful time at Dirk and Jessica's from December 3 to December 6, 2025. You can immediately tell how much heart the two put into their vacation home. Everything was warm, cozy, and lovingly prepared – we felt welcome from the very first moment. Our four-legged friend was also happy and felt at home right away.
Dirk and Jessica are incredibly warm hosts: attentive, helpful, and still pleasantly reserved. One simply feels that the well-being of their guests is truly important to them.
